Terminologia prawa rzeczowego w aspekcie tłumaczeniowym chińsko-polskim
The aim of this paper is to analyse basic Chinese legal terminology related to property law and to translate the examined terms into Polish. The research material shall be the second book of Polish Civil Code (Ownership and Other Property Rights) published in 1964 and Chinese Property Rights Law published in 2007, as well as theoretical literature concerning property law. The author focuses mainly on the terms regarding property rights in general and also objects and subjects of particular property rights. Since in legal language specific phrases play a significant role, that is the reason for analyzing not only single words, but also full syntagmas – the terms in this paper are presented mainly inside phrases. Although Chinese and Polish property law institutions slightly differ, the terminology seems quite parallel. However, translator has to be careful to find an optimal equivalent, forasmuch literal translation commonly does not cover Polish statutory equivalent.
oai:ojs.pressto.amu.edu.pl:article/5581This paper focuses on legal terminology related to the right of ownership in Poland and China. Legal translation concerning this language pair becomes increasingly necessary, considering numerous trade relations between these countries. Therefore doing the research on the terminology of property law in Poland and China is essential, and the right of ownership is the core of this branch of law in both examined countries. The aim of this paper is to present basic terms related to ownership: ownership rights, subjects and objects, as well as protection of the right of ownership depending on ownership type. The method of comparison of comparable texts was applied, and Chinese and Polish Constitution, Chinese General Principles of Civil Law, Chinese Property Law and Polish Civil Code were used as the research material. Do badania zastosowana została metoda analizy tekstów porównywalnych. - Kodeks cywilny
Theoretical and Experimental Investigations of Dynamics of the Flexible Rotor with an Additional Active Magnetic Bearing
Model of the gas journal bearing dynamics with a exibly supported foil.
The work is devoted to an analysis of the journal bearing dynamics
employing a numerical model which takes into account factors related to
motion and friction of non{rotating elements of the sleeve. This model yields
the basis for simulations carried out in order to determine correctly dynamic
characteristics of an oil{free machine rotating system at the early stage of
its design and during its operation. On the basis of those simulations, the
thickness of gas lm was determined as well as the pressure distribution in
the bearing and its lift capacity. Moreover, the numerical program led to an
analysis of proper vibrations and forced vibrations of the system under consideration.
It was possible to obtain attenuation of the force and to visualize
a journal trajectory for the dynamic harmonic input function. The FFT (Fast
Fourier Transform) analysis of vibrations was implemented. In the spectrum,
only a frequency of the input function was observed, whereas and a lack of
subsynchronous frequencies pointed to the stable operation of the bearing
Unconventional oil-free high-speed bearing for orc turbogenerator.
In modern low-power generation systems, microturbines
of the power output ranging between 1 and 20 kW are applied. The
development of reliable bearing technology for high-speed small
turbomachinery could be essential to these power-generating devices. Therotating system presented in the paper is supported in oil-free, airfoilbearings. Compliant surface foil gas bearings are a class of hydrodynamicbearings that use the ambient gas as their working fluid and, thus, require no dedicated lubrication systems, which makes their design much simpler
Two-photon-induced birefringence in azo-dye bearing polyimide; the birefringence changes versus the writing power
Ultra-short high-intensity light pulses were utilized
to induce the optical birefringence in a polyimide material
possessing the azo-dye covalently bonded to the main
chain. The obtained results showed that a two-photon absorption
process was involved in a creation of the sample
birefringence which, to the best of our knowledge, was not
previously reported for polyimide materials. The growths
and decays of birefringence were examined as functions of
the pulse intensities. No damage to the material during the
illumination process was detected in a wide range of optical
powers applied. High birefringence level of the order of
0.005 was measured
Azobenzene Functionalized “T-Type” Poly(Amide Imide)s vs. Guest-Host Systems - A Comparative Study of Structure-Property Relations
This paper describes the synthesis and characterization of new “T-type” azo poly(amide
imide)s as well as guest-host systems based on the “T-type” matrices. The matrices possessed
pyridine rings in a main-chain and azobenzene moieties located either between the amide or imide
groups. The non-covalent polymers contained the molecularly dispersed 4-phenylazophenol or
4-[(4-methyl phenyl)diazinyl]phenol chromophores that are capable of forming intermolecular
hydrogen bonds with the pyridine rings. The FTIR spectroscopy and the measurements of the
thermal, optical and photoinduced optical birefringence were employed for the determination of
the influence of H-bonds and the specific elements of polymer architecture on physicochemical
properties. Moreover, the obtained results were compared to those described in our previous works
to formulate structure-property relations that may be considered general for the class of “T-type” azo
poly(amide imide)s
Investigations of Oil-Free Support Systems to Improve the Reliability of ORC Hermetic High-Speed Turbomachinery
The design of a small turbo-generator to produce electricity in the range from a few kWs
requires the use of an aerostatic or aerodynamic gas bearing system. The theoretical
analysis and the experimental test at the present stage of the study show that such
highly rotating constructions are feasible. The problem consists in the optimal design
selection from the viewpoint of the machine reliability and the adjustments are connected
to the diminution in static thrust and lateral loads of the bearings by a correct design
of the turbine flow structure and a correct selection of the gas bearing type
