    The purpose of accompaniment for craftsmen Jawet Kaladan group is to provide insight and knowledge of the importance of the quality of raw materials, while for the Silip group in the form of accompaniment and diversification of materials using natural materials from Jarenang (Dragon blood). Diversification carried out still apply the elements of the Dayak art form of a straight line and arches. The activities are carried out by initiating the socialization and introduction of tools and materials, followed by the implementation of the activities of bamboo cutting, clearing the outer layer of bamboo, bamboo stem division, separating the inner and outer layers of bamboo, drying the bamboo sheets, coloring the bamboo with the jelagah, giving the color with cruising, attenuate bamboo and tinker. After accompaniment and final evaluation of this service, crafters are expected to have the knowledge and skill of using the jarenang as a natural dye on the handicraft products they produce

    The social forestry enterprise group of stingless bee farming is a group that utilizes stingless bees for cultivation and already has a product, which is honey. The community managing the social forestry land is Tuwung Village, Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The research aims to determine the potential and economic value, as well as the factors influencing the productivity of stingless bee honey. The research method used is qualitative descriptive method. The stingless bee farming enterprise in Tuwung Village produces 40 liters of honey from 33 hives, where the potential for stingless bee cultivation is still suboptimal. The economic value, as the income from honey sales in one year, amounts to Rp 10,000,000. The honey produced during one year totals 40 liters with a selling price of Rp 250,000 per liter, resulting in the income of this enterprise group still being suboptimal or relatively low.Kelompok usaha sosial hutan desa yang mengembangkan budidaya lebah tak bersengat adalah kelompok yang memanfaatkan lebah tak bersengat untuk budidaya dan telah memiliki produk, yaitu madu. Masyarakat yang mengelola lahan hutan sosial ini adalah Desa Tuwung, Kabupaten Pulang Pisau, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan potensi dan nilai ekonomi, serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi produktivitas madu lebah tak bersengat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Usaha budidaya lebah tak bersengat di Desa Tuwung menghasilkan 40 liter madu dari 33 sarang lebah, dimana potensi budidaya lebah tak bersengat masih belum optimal. Nilai ekonomi, yaitu pendapatan dari penjualan madu dalam satu tahun, mencapai Rp 10.000.000. Produksi madu selama satu tahun mencapai 40 liter dengan harga jual Rp 250.000 per liter, sehingga pendapatan kelompok usaha ini masih belum optimal atau relatif rendah

    Red Meranti was a commercial wood that is widely used as a raw material for the timber industry (plywood and sawmill industry), and generated a lot of waste. Currently, the utilization of red meranti waste has not been utilized optimally. One of the optimizing utilization of that waste was for developing a Particleboard with the citric acid natural binder. The objective of this study was to determine the bonding properties of Sawmill Waste Red Meranti Particleboard bonded with a Citric Acid Natural Adhesive. Citric acid was dissolved in water with the concentration of the solution adjusted to 60 wt%. This adhesive solution was sprayed onto the 40 mesh (coarse) and 40 mesh (fine) particles at 10% and 20% resin content based on the weight of oven-dried particles. Each mixture was then hot pressed at 110°C for 15 min under 50 kg/cm² pressure. Density and dimension targets were 0.7 kg/cm³; 30 × 30 × 1 cm. Each experiment was performed in triplicate, and the average value and standard deviation were calculated. The results showed that the interaction of particle size and adhesive content had a very significant effect on density, internal bonding, and screw-holding strength and had no significant effect on moisture content, thickness swelling, and modulus of rupture (MOR). Based on the SNI 03-2105-2006, the physical properties that meet the standard were moisture content and. Meanwhile, the mechanical properties of sawmill waste red meranti particleboard have not met the SNI 03-2105-2006.     The potential of medicinal plants in the forest area of Kalimantan is quite diverse, both those that have been utilized by the community around the region and those that have not been utilized. Gohong Village is a village in Pulang Pisau Regency of Central Kalimantan Province which has an area of ±51,037 ha. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential the spread and the economic value of yellow root medicinal plants in Gohong Village. The method used in this study is the Purposive Sampling method. The results of the analysis showed that an area of 2 hectares of yellow root plant potential was obtained as much as 2.174415 m3. The density value of yellow roots of 0,1875 or 0,188 for an area of 0.4 hectares there are 75 yellow root plants, and the average measurement plant found yellow root plants as many as 7-8 trees or per hectare, the density value of yellow root plants is 0.47. The frequency of yellow root plants at the research site was 0.8 with the number of plants as many as 75 trees. The spread of yellow roots in Gohong Village is uniform with a morisita index value of 0.8 respondent data in Gohong Village as many as 10 respondents obtained yellow root price data Per 1 Kg is Rp 50,000. Based on the analysis of the availability of yellow roots in the research location is quite significant and able to provide additional income for the community in order to support the economy

    This research aims to determine the effect of particle sizes (10 mesh, 20 mesh, and 30 mesh) on the physical and mechanical properties of particleboards made from industry waste of PT. Aldi Mandomai Furniture, based on JIS A 5903: 2003 Standard. .  Particleboards size were 30 x30x1,5 cm, density 0,5 g/cm3. Moisture content particles at 5%, particles glued with urea-formaldehyde adhesives, weight 10%, hot press pressured with temperature  110 ± 20C for 15 minutes, pressure 25 kg/ cm2. Furthermore, particleboards must be conditioned for ± 14 days/ 2 weeks. Particleboards were cut into sample test according to the size in the JIS A 5903:2003 standard. Research design used Completely Random Design with one factor. Data analyzed using analysis of variance, if  data was significant must  to do  areal difference test. The observed to particle size with 3 levels are 10 mesh, 20 mesh, and 30 mesh.  The results of physical properties were Density ( a.v. 0,46 – 0,49 g/cm³), Moisture Content (a.v. 12,22 – 14,05%),  Water Absorption (a.v  129,79 – 167,03%), and Thickness Swelling (a.v 11,43 – 22,08%).  The results of mechanical properties were internal bonding (0,0075 - 0,0204 N/mm2), Modulus of Elasticity (a.v. 5,91 – 25,32 N/mm2), Modulus of Rupture (a.v   0,52 – 1,52 N/mm2 ), and Screw Holding (a.v.  29,42 – 104,60 N).  Particleboards made from furniture industry waste  with particle size 10 mesh was significantly to physical properties, except density and fulfill JIS A 5903:2003,  while the mechanical properties of particleboard are not fulfill the standard
