Today, the human beings are increasingly victims of slavery. These are manifested in various forms but share a common criminal purpose: to instrumentalize human beings in order to benefit or as exchange value or as use value. In this respect, the slavery’s practices undermine human dignity seriously. The form of action leading to distinguish the practices that market the human being (slavery by transaction), and those who exploit it (exploitation by slavery). The struggle of the international criminal law against slavery began in the nineteenth century and since then gradually intensified. The standards concerning the prohibition of slavery have now the status of norms of jus cogens. The problems related to human trafficking, forced labor, and other forms of severe exploitation of the human person the human being still persist in our societies. Their eradication requires the continued repression but also its reorganization both internationally and in terms of domestic law

Introduction Gender inequality is a part of socio-economic inequality in all societies. Overcoming discrimination is most important in the poverty reduction programmes every societies especialy in developing countries and a useful tools for the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals that announced by UNDP. The Gander development index (GDI) is often considered a “gender-sensitive extension of the HDI” (Klasen 245). It addresses gender-gaps in life expectancy, education, and incomes. It uses an “inequality aversion” penalty, which creates a development score penalty for gender gaps in any of the categories of the Human Development Index which include life expectancy, adult literacy, school enrollment, and logarithmic transformations of per-capita income. The GDI cannot be used independently from the Human Development Index (HDI) score and so, it cannot be used on its own as an indicator of gender-gaps. Only the gap between the HDI and the GDI can actually be accurately considered; the GDI on its own is not an independent measure of gender-gaps. In the years since its creation in 1995, much debate has arisen surrounding the reliability, and usefulness of the Gender Development Index (GDI) in making adequate comparisons between different countries and in promoting gender-sensitive development. The GDI is particularly criticized for being often mistakenly interpreted as an independent measure of gender-gaps when it is not, in fact, intended to be interpreted in that way, because it can only be used in combination with the scores from the Human Development Index, but not on its own. Additionally, the data that is needed in order to calculate the GDI is not always readily available in many countries, making the measure very hard to calculate uniformly and internationally (Ibid). So the participation and role of women in various cultural, social, economic and political fields determine levels of development indicators in each country around the world. Existing data’s shows that women's condition in Iran’s during last decades have dual status. In terms of some HDI indicators component such as health and education, women in Iran are in a situation more better than most countries in the region, but their share of participation rate in labor market and income earning is in very low level in compare with other developing countries. In this case Lorestan province is one of the most poor areas. Material & Methods This study’s research method was been second data analysis as a interpretive approach, and critical perspective. While focusing on theoretical and methodological underpinnings of the gender development index be discussed. So this research took about the methods that used here is numerical taxonomy and data matrix - have been used too. Discussion of Results & Conclusions As mentioned in state of problems, here the finding shows that Lorestan gender development indicators (GDI) are in low level. But inter provinces analysis among town and cities shows many different among districts. For examples in field of cultural- educational indicators, cities of Borujerd and Khorramabad occupied high developed rank, and then Doroud and Poldokhtar rank is relatively developed cities, some other cities such as Koohdasht, and Azna been relatively disadvantaged and finally most poor sections of cities are located in Aligoodarz and Delfan. Base on results and this study finding a longtime development plans is needed to try increase and improve of gender development indicators in all cities with focus on poor areas same Delfan and Alighoodarz

This study investigated effects of pure and mixed plantations of Caucasian alder (Alnus subcordata C. A. Mey.) and eastern cottonwood(Populus deltoides Marsh.) on carbon sequestration and some physical and chemical soil properties. The stands across the test site were planted in 1996 under randomized complete blocks design at four replications and five treatments at Chamestan Forest Station. The treatment consisted of five pure and mixed eastern cottonwoodand Caucasian alder stands (pure eastern cottonwood, pure Caucasian alder, mixed Caucasian alder and eastern cottonwoodstands at three different levels: 50+50 %, 33+67 % and 67+33 %, respectively). Combined soil samples were taken at two depths including 0-15 and 15-30 cm. The results showed no significant difference in carbon sequestration rates amongst the treatments at both soil depths , except for pH which was significantly different at soil surface layer (

The aim of this study was to deliver ribonuclease A (RNase A) intracellularly using dextran nanogels for cancer treatment. To this end, positively charged RNase A was electrostatically loaded in anionic dextran nanogels with an average size of 205 nm, which were prepared by an inverse mini-emulsion technique. To chemically immobilize the loaded protein in the nanogels and prevent its unwanted release in the extracellular environment, the protein was covalently linked to the nanogel network via disulfide bonds, which are cleavable in the reductive cytosolic environment. A high loading efficiency and loading content of RNase A (75% and 20%, respectively) were obtained. Coating of the nanogels with the cationic polymer polyethyleneimine reversed the zeta potential of nanogels from -31.6 mV to +7.6 mV. The nanogels showed a fast and triggered release of RNase in the presence of glutathione. Negatively charged RNase A loaded nanogels did not show cytotoxicity, likely due to their limited cellular uptake. In contrast, PEI coated RNase A loaded nanogels showed high uptake by MDA-MB 231 breast cancer cells and exhibited a concentration-dependent cytotoxic effect by apoptosis. The results demonstrate that PEI coated nanogels are promising nano-carriers for intracellular protein delivery, encouraging further evaluation of this formulation in preclinical models

Recent studies have shown a high potency of protein-based vaccines for cell-mediated cancer immunotherapy. However, due to their poor cellular uptake, efficient immune responses with soluble protein antigens are often not observed. As a result of superior cellular uptake, nanogels loaded with antigenic peptides were investigated in this study as carrier systems for cancer immunotherapy. Different synthetic long peptides (SLPs) containing the CTL and CD4+ T-helper (Help) epitopes were synthesized and covalently conjugated via disulfide bonds to the polymeric network of cationic dextran nanogels. Cationic nanogels with a size of 210 nm, positive zeta potential (+24 mV) and high peptide loading content (15%) showed triggered release of the loaded peptides under reducing conditions. An in vitro study demonstrated the capability of cationic nanogels to maturate dendritic cells (DCs). Importantly, covalently SLP-loaded nanogels adjuvanted with poly(I:C) showed superior CD8+ T cell responses compared to soluble peptides and nanogel formulations with physically loaded peptides both in vitro and in vivo. In conclusion, covalently SLPs-loaded cationic nanogels are a promising system to provoke immune responses for therapeutic cancer vaccination
