We review the literature on empirical asset pricing in emerging markets. This literature is quite diverse and almost thirty years old. In order to make this task manageable, we focus on equity markets and limit the topics to return predictability and volatility modeling as well as restricting the review to the set of top journals in finance and those that specialize on emerging markets

Derivative markets in emerging economies: a survey

We review the literature on derivatives in emerging markets. This young but booming literature appears to be concentrated on a few countries, but is quite rich in terms of subject coverage. We classify these topics based on the generally recognized functions of derivative markets and restrict the review to the set of top journals in finance and those that specialize on emerging markets or derivatives

Saf Hat Horoz Spermalarında in vitro ve in vivo Dölveriminin Değerlendirilmesi

Öz: Bu çalışmanın amacı, Kahverengi yumurtacı saf hat horozlarda in vitro spermatolojik paremetreleri ve in vivo dölverimini değerlendirmekti.             Araştırmada her saf hattan 7 olmak üzere 6 saf hattan, 35 haftalık toplam 42 adet kahverengi yumurtacı horoz kullanıldı. Araştırma süresince horozlardan haftada iki olmak üzere üç hafta boyunca toplam altı kez abdominal masaj yöntemi ile sperma alındı ve spermalar spermatolojik özellikler yönüyle muayene edildi.  Spermatolojik özelliklerin saptandıktan sonra her horozun ejakülatı fizyolojik tuzlu su ile (FTS) 1:1 oranında sulandırıldı.  Tavukların tohumlanması amacıyla, bir tohumlama dozunda en az 250X106 spermatozoa bulunduracak biçimde 0,1 ml dozunda sulandırılmış sperma kullanıldı.  Aynı işlem tüm horoz ve tavuklar için gün aşırı bir kez daha tekrarlandı ve her hat için en az 250 tavuk tohumlandı. İkinci tohumlamadan sonraki günden itibaren yumurtalar toplandı. Yedi gün sonra tüm tavuklar sulandırılmış sperma ile tekrar tohumlandı. Her hat için en az 250 yumurta, 6 hat için toplamda en az 1500 yumurta fertilite (döllenme) ve civciv verimi (kuluçka çıkışı) yönüyle değerlendirildi.       Hatlar arasında ejakülat miktarı, spermatozoa yoğunluğu ve anormal spermatozoa oranı yönüyle farklılıklar istatistiki açıdan önemli (P<0.001, P<0.01, P<0.01) olurken, spermatozoa motilitesi, ölü spermatozoa oranı ve sperma pH’sı yönüyle farklılıklar önemsiz (P>0.05) bulundu.  Döllü yumurta sayısı ve oranı (fertilite) ve kuluçka çıkışı ve oranı yönüyle gruplar arasında gözlenen farklılıklar önemli kaydedildi (P<0.001).             Sonuç olarak, bu çalışma ile 6 kahverengi yumurtacı saf hat horozlarında sperma kalitelerinin iyi ve bu spermalarla elde edilen dölverimlerinin normal sınırlar içerisinde olduğu sonucuna varıldı.
