Holographic Entanglement Entropy in flat limit of the Generalized Minimal Massive Gravity model

Previously we have studied the Generalized Minimal Massive Gravity (GMMG) in asymptotically AdS3AdS_3 background, and have shown that the theory is free of negative-energy bulk modes. Also we have shown GMMG avoids the aforementioned bulk-boundary unitarity clash. Here instead of AdS3AdS_3 space we consider asymptotically flat space, and study this model in the flat limit. The dual field theory of GMMG in the flat limit is a BMS3BMS_3 invariant field theory, dubbed (BMSFT) and we have BMS algebra asymptotically instead of Virasoro algebra. In fact here we present an evidence for this claim. Entanglement entropy of GMMG is calculated in the background in the flat null infinity. Our evidence for mentioned claim is the result for entanglement entropy in filed theory side and in the bulk (in the gravity side). At first using Cardy formula and Rindler transformation, we calculate entanglement entropy of BMSFT in three different cases. Zero temperature on the plane and on the cylinder, and non-zero temperature case. Then we obtain the entanglement entropy in the bulk. Our results in gravity side are exactly in agreement with field theory calculations.Comment: 17 pages, reference and paragraphs adde

Holographic entanglement entropy and modular Hamiltonian in warped CFT in the framework of GMMG model

    No full text
We study some aspects of a class of non-AdS holography where the 3D bulk gravity is given by generalized minimal massive gravity (GMMG). We consider the spacelike warped AdS3AdS_3 (WAdS3WAdS_3) black hole solution of this model where the 2d dual boundary theory is the warped conformal field theory (WFCT). The charge algebra of the isometries in the bulk and the charge algebra of the vacuum symmetries at the boundary are compatible and this is an evidence for the duality conjecture. Further evidence for this duality is the equality of entanglement entropy and modular Hamiltonian on both sides of the duality. So we consider the modular Hamiltonian for the single interval at the boundary in associated to the modular flow generators of the vacuum. We calculate the gravitational charge in associated to the asymptotic Killing vectors that preserve the metric boundary conditions. Assuming the first law of the entanglement entropy to be true, we introduce the matching conditions between the variables in two side of the duality and we find equality of the modular Hamiltonian variations and the gravitational charge variations in two sides of the duality. According to the results of the present paper we can say with more sure that the dual theory of the warped AdS3 black hole solution of GMMG is a Warped CFT

Nitro-Substituted Polyamides: A New Class of Transparent and Highly Refractive Materials

    No full text
High-refractive-index polyamides (PAs) were developed by introducing nitro groups, thiazole rings, and thioether linkages. The PAs were prepared by the polycondensation of a novel diamine monomer, 5,5′-thiobis(2-amino-4-(3-nitrophenyl)thiazole) (DA), with various aromatic diacids. The bulky pendant nitrophenyl units, as well as the flexible thioether linkage in the diamine, endowed the resulting PAs with excellent solubilities in both amide-type polar aprotic solvents and less polar solvents. The obtained polymers exhibited high heat resistance, with 10% weight loss temperatures exceeding 472 °C under nitrogen and 427 °C in air atmosphere, while their glass transition temperatures were in the range 210–244 °C. The combination of the nitro substituents, thiazole units, and thioether linkages provided PAs with high refractive indices of up to 1.7660 at 632.8 nm, along with high transparency in the visible region and low birefringences (\u3c0.0081). The structure–property relationships of these PAs due to the presence of nitro groups were also studied by comparing the results with the previously reported analogous polymers

Formative Research to Study the Viewpoints, Attitudes and Driving Behaviors in Taxi Drivers of Yasuj: The First Step in Planning of an Intervention Based on Social Marketing Model

    No full text
Abstract Background & aim: Formative research is done to identify and analyze the related factors for a behavior and determining an initiative idea for intervention. This study aimed at knowing about viewpoints of taxi drivers in Yasuj and assessing attitudes and behaviors in driving. In this way, a behavioral intervention will be designed for decreasing risky driving behaviors. Methods: This cross-sectional study including qualitative and quantitative on taxi drivers in Yasuj. In qualitative part, data were explored from 16 drivers in two focal group discussions and in quantitative survey, a questionnaire is used for measuring attitudes and self-reported behaviors and a checklist is used for recording observational behaviors of 260 taxi drivers. Descriptive and analytical statistics for quantitative were used. All discussions with taxi drivers were recorded, categorized and analyzed and its findings summarized in five main themes. Results: Majority of taxi drivers had desired attitudes toward risky driving behaviors. More than 80 percent reported that always or most times avoid doing risky driving. However, observation showed that not fastening seatbelt through route is the most frequent behaviors among taxi drivers. In focal group discussions, four themes and few sub-themes were explored and the main recommendations for reducing risky driving behaviors were continuous education, road modification, increasing police supervision and using route supervisors as opinion leaders of taxi drivers. Conclusion: Determining frequent risky driving behaviors, attention to viewpoints of drivers and selecting segments based on influencing factors on their behaviors can be effective for reducing risky driving behaviors. β-Cyclodextrin-NHC-Gold(I) Complex (β-ICyD)AuCl: A Chiral Nanoreactor for Enantioselective and Substrate-Selective Alkoxycyclization Reactions

International audienceNHC-capped β-cyclodextrin (β-ICyD) was used as a ligand for gold-catalyzed alkoxycyclization reactions. The cavity was found to be responsible for a triple selectivity: (i) the asymmetric shape of the cavity of β-ICyD induced highly stereoselective cyclizations, (ii) the shape of the interior favored the formation of a six-membered ring in the absence of a nucleophile, and finally, (iii) the encapsulation of the metal inside the cavity disfavored the addition of sterically hindered alcohols. Highly enantioselective and substrate-selective alkoxycyclizations of enynes are therefore promoted by the cavity-based molecular reactor (β-ICyD)AuCl
