Introduction of woody plants was reviewed in historic aspect. Quantitative content of woody plants genepool was presented. Prospects of improvement of Ukrainian cultural landscapes by means of introduction have been outlined.Підведено підсумки інтродукції деревних рослин в Україні в історичному аспекті. Наведено кількісний склад генофонду деревних рослин. Окреслено перспективу покращання культурних ландшафтів України шляхом інтродукції
