Синтаксическая языковая игра в американском юмористическом дискурсе (на материале ситкома “Клиника”)

The article is devoted to the study of syntactic language play techniques in humorous discourse, since the phenomenon of language play is closely connected with this type of discourse. The notions of  humorous discourse and language play are considered. Humorous discourse is based on the principle of transmission of a humorous message from the addresser to the addressee. The purpose of this message is to get away from a serious conversation, reduce the social distance between the conversation participants and form friendly interrelationship. Communicative intension and humorous tonality are key components of humorous discourse. Language play means intentional violation of the rules of the language in order to achieve a humorous effect. Language play exists at all levels of language structure: phonological, morphological, lexical and syntactic. The article is based on the material of a popular American sitcom “Scrubs” dedicated to the everyday life of doctors. Сases of usage syntactic language play in the speech of six characters of the sitcom (John Dorian, Percival Cox, Christofer Turk, Elliot Rid, Carla Espinoza and Jordan Sullivan) are considered. In their jokes, characters in the majority of cases use lexical language play techniques, but syntactic language play is also quite common. The most frequently used syntactic means (repetition, parcellation, rhetorical questions, tautology, zeugma) are determined. Specific cases of usage language game techniques at the syntactic level are presented.У статті досліджено найпопулярніші прийоми синтаксичної мовної гри в гумористичному дискурсі. Репрезентовано особливості її використання в мовленні шести персонажів американського ситкому “Клініка” (Джона Доріна, Перрі Кокса, Кріса Терка, Еліот Рід, Карли Еспіноза і Джордан Салліван). Витлумачено поняття “мовна гра” й “гумористичний дискурс”. Визначено конкретні прийоми мовної гри, до яких найчастіше вдаються названі персонажі, зокрема повтор, парцеляції, риторичне питання, тавтологія, зевгма.В статье исследуются самые популярные приемы синтаксической языковой игры в юмористическом дискурсе. Рассматриваются особенности ее использования в речи шести персонажей популярного американского ситкома “Клиника” (Джона Дориана, Перри Кокса, Криса Терка, Эллиот Рид, Карлы Эспиноза и Джордан Салливан). Истолковываются понятия “языковая игра” и “юмористический дискурс”. Определяются наиболее часто используемые персонажами конкретные приемы языковой игры на синтаксическом уровне, в частности повтор, парцелляции, риторический вопрос, тавтология, зевгма

Lexical language play in “The big bang theory” sitcom

The article deals with the phenomenon of language play and its role in achieving humorous effect in humorous discourse. The authors start with considering the notion of language play understood as creative, non-standard usage of any linguistic units and / or categories to create witty utterances. To the characteristics of language play belong those of secondary character, wit, conventionality, artificiality, associativity, substitutiveness, accentuality, relevance, individuality, aesthetics, the comic effect, etc. Language play is viewed as one of the main ways of achieving humorous effect in humorous discourse, including the genre of situational comedy. The study is based on a popular American sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”. The authors come to the conclusion that the characters of the sitcom use in their jokes language play techniques at all the levels of language structure: phonological, morphological, lexical and syntactic, the most frequent being those of lexical level. Such means of lexical language play as (in decreasing order of frequency) simile, periphrasis, metaphor, hyperbole, personification and referring to an inanimate object, allusion and citation, antonomasia, homonymy, combination of incompatible words, and metonymy are considered.В статье анализируется роль лексической языковой игры в достижении юмористического эффекта в таком жанре дискурса, как ситуационная комедия. Материалом исследования послужили шесть сезонов популярного американского ситкома “Теория большого взрыва”. Акцентируется внимание на том, что наиболее часто языковая игра актуализируется при помощи лексических языковых средств и приемов. Рассматриваются такие приемы лексической языковой игры, как сравнение, перифраз, метафора, гипербола, олицетворение, обращение к неодушевленному предмету, аллюзия, цитация, антономасия, омонимия, соединение несоединимого, метонимия.У статті встановлено роль лексичної мовної гри в досягненні гумористичного ефекту в такому дискурсивному жанрі, як ситуаційна комедія. Матеріалом дослідження послужили шість сезонів популярного американського ситкому “Теорія великого вибуху”. Акцентовано на тому, що найчастіше мовна гра актуалізується за допомогою лексичних мовних засобів і прийомів. Розглянуто такі прийоми лексичної мовної гри, як порівняння, перифраз, метафора, гіпербола, персоніфікація, звертання до неживого предмета, алюзія, цитацій, антономасія, омонімія, поєднання непоєднуваного, метонімія

Jsou zde probrány jednotlivé tipy sond podrobněji a okrajově popsána funkce cívky v obvodu, vznik elektromagnetického pole a také principy zpracování vstupního signálu. U zpracování signálu jsem se zaměřil na funkci a vlastnosti Lock-in zesilovače. Dále se práce zabývá praktickou části, kde je popsáno a vysvětleno vlastní měření, které probíhalo v laboratoři školy na zakoupeném detektoru kovů. Také jsou zde rozebrány problémy při detekci kovů. Výsledky a závěry z praktické části jsou zhodnoceny v závěru a výsledné naměřené hodnoty se dají nalézt v příloze A.This bachelor study is concerning about basic principles of metal detectors and their most common constructions of probes. There are singly described types of probes, marginally function of inductor in circuit, creation of electromagnetic field and principles of manipulation with input signal. I focused on function and characteristics of Lock-in intensifier. Bachelor study is also including practical part where is described and explained own measurment, which was proceeding through the metal detectors bought by the University. There are also analysed problems during metal detecting procedure. Results and conclusions of practical part are reviewed in final conclusion and results of measeured values can be found at section A
