    Psychological Fragility and Its Relationship to Self Defense Mechanisms among Unmarried Women

    The study aimed to reveal the level of both psychological fragility and defense mechanisms among unmarried women, and the correlation between them. The study sample consisted of (216) unmarried women, who were chosen by the available method. The results of the study showed that the level of psychological fragility among unmarried women was moderate, and that there are differences in psychological fragility according to the variables of educational level and age. The results of the study also showed that the most common psychological defense mechanisms among unmarried women were daydreaming and the least common was projection, and that there were differences in the mechanisms according to defense according to the variables of educational level and social status. Finally, the study found a statistically significant relationship between psychological fragility and defense mechanisms among unmarried women

    Predictive Ability of the Emotional Intelligence in Stress Managemet Skills among Students of Yarmouk University

    The study aimed at revealing the level of emotional intelligence and stress management skills, as well as revealing the predictive ability of emotional intelligence skills of stress management of Yarmouk University\u27s students. The sample of the study consisted of (1849) male and female students from Yarmouk University who were selected in the available method. The results of the study revealed statistically significant differences in emotional intelligence due to the impact of gender, specialization, and academic year. The females’ score was higher than the males’, and students from humanity faculties had a higher score than those in scientific faculties. In terms of the academic year, freshmen\u27s scores were the highest in emotional intelligence. The results of the study have also reported no differences in the level of stress management skills due to the impact of gender. However, statistically significant differences were found in the level of stress management skills due to variables in the faculty and the academic year. The students in the humanity faculties had a higher score than the scientific ones, and freshmen students had the highest scores. The results also reported high prediction abilities of all levels of emotional intelligence and stress management skills, which collectively accounted for (52.1%) of variation

    The Study aimed to Uncover the role of kindergarten Teachers in reducing aggressive behaviors among children in Jerash governorate from the point of view of principals and teachers. The descriptive survey approach was used. The study sample consisted of (334) managers and teachers. The (electronic questionnaire) was used as a study tool.The results of the following study: The role of kindergarten teachers in reducing aggressive behaviors in children came to a (large) degree,As for the statistical differences, the results revealed that there are no statistical differences due to the effect of the kindergarten variable, the educational qualification variable, and the job title variable, while the results showed statistically significant differences according to the years of experience variable, and the differences came in favor of the category (from 5 years to less than10 years) and the category (10 years and over). The study recommended making use of the experience of experienced kindergarten teachers in training new and less experienced teachers in dealing with children’s behavior and communicating with parents regarding their children’s behavior

    The Effect of Using (PQ4R) Strategy in teaching history on Improving Eighth Grade Students\u27 Self-Efficacy

    The current study aimed to identify the effect of using (PQ4R) strategy on improvingSelf-Efficacy among eighth-grade students in ‎Ein Al Bash\u27s Directorate of Education in Jordan. The sample of the study contained (50) students who were randomly divided into two equal groups: the experimental group (No. = 25) on which (PQ4R) strategy was applied, and the control group (No. = 25) where the strategy was not applied to. To achieve the study purposes, a self-efficacy scale was used, in addition to improving the first unit of eighth grade\u27s history book (The Abbasid State: it Manifestations and Mongol Invasion) through (PQ4R) strategy. The findings showed that there were statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in terms of the average scores on the self-efficacy scale of the post-test in favor of the experimental group, which indicates the strategy effectiveness. Furthermore, the results of follow-up tests showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the self-efficacy scale between the post and follow-up tests of the experimental group, which reflects the stability of the results
