Braided Statistics from Abelian Twist in κ\kappa-Minkowski Spacetime

κ\kappa-deformed commutation relation between quantum operators is constructed via abelian twist deformation in κ\kappa-Minkowski spacetime. The commutation relation is written in terms of universal RR-matrix satisfying braided statistics. The equal-time commutator function turns out to vanish in this framework.Comment: 6pages, no figure

The rapid development of q-calculus has led to the discovery of new generalizations of Bernstein polynomials and Genocchi polynomials involving q-integers. The present paper deals with weighted q-Bernstein polynomials and q-Genocchi numbers with weight alpha and beta. We apply the method of generating function and p-adic q-integral representation on Zp, which are exploited to derive further classes of Bernstein polynomials and q-Genocchi numbers and polynomials. To be more precise we summarize our results as follows, we obtain some combinatorial relations between q-Genocchi numbers and polynomials with weight alpha and beta. Furthermore, we derive an integral representation of weighted q-Bernstein polynomials of degree n on Zp. Also we deduce a fermionic p-adic q-integral representation of product weighted q-Bernstein polynomials of different degrees n1,n2,...on Zp and show that it can be written with q-Genocchi numbers with weight alpha and beta which yields a deeper insight into the effectiveness of this type of generalizations. Our new generating function possess a number of interesting properties which we state in this paper.Comment: 10 page

Resonance Patterns in a Stadium-shaped Microcavity

We investigate resonance patterns in a stadium-shaped microcavity around nckR≃10n_ck R \simeq 10, where ncn_c is the refractive index, kk the vacuum wavenumber, and RR the radius of the circular part of the cavity. We find that the patterns of high QQ resonances can be classified, even though the classical dynamics of the stadium system is chaotic. The patterns of the high QQ resonances are consistent with the ray dynamical consideration, and appears as the stationary lasing modes with low pumping rate in the nonlinear dynamical model. All resonance patterns are presented in a finite range of kRkR.Comment: 8 pages, 9 figure

Density fluctuations in κ\kappa-deformed inflationary universe

We study the spectrum of metric fluctuation in κ\kappa-deformed inflationary universe. We write the theory of scalar metric fluctuations in the κ−\kappa-deformed Robertson-Walker space, which is represented as a non-local theory in the conventional Robertson-Walker space. One important consequence of the deformation is that the mode generation time is naturally determined by the structure of the κ−\kappa-deformation. We expand the non-local action in H2/κ2H^2/\kappa^2, with HH being the Hubble parameter and κ\kappa the deformation parameter, and then compute the power spectra of scalar metric fluctuations both for the cases of exponential and power law inflations up to the first order in H2/κ2H^2/\kappa^2. We show that the power spectra of the metric fluctuation have non-trivial corrections on the time dependence and on the momentum dependence compared to the commutative space results. Especially for the power law inflation case, the power spectrum for UV modes is weakly blue shifted early in the inflation and its strength decreases in time. The power spectrum of far-IR modes has cutoff proportional to k3k^3 which may explain the low CMB quadrupole moment.Comment: final revision; 19 pages, 3 figures; to appear in Phys. Rev.
