© 2016 Khuziakhmetov and Naumova. The relevance of diagnostic meta-subject competence measures in secondary schools is caused by the fact that the importance of a meta-subject competence formation was officially defined in educational standards, but there are still no qualitative and informative diagnostic tools for this competence development. The purpose of the article is to develop and test a method of pupils’ meta-subject competence diagnostics in secondary schools during mathematics lessons. The main method of the research is modeling. This method was the basis for further methodic set development and the pedagogical experiment, which allowed to use the approved methods. During the research we created a complex set of methods for pupils’ meta-subject competence diagnostics in secondary schools during mathematics lessons, which allowed to assess levels of pupils’ meta-subject knowledge and skills, to identify problematic aspects of their meta-subject competence, to define advantages of the method set and to develop recommendations for its further use. The developed diagnostic method set can be used by teachers of mathematics in secondary schools to assess levels of pupils’ meta-subject competence, which helps to draw further plans for individual meta-subject competence development in the system of mathematical education

© 2017 Authors. The aim of the research is to study the possibilities of the final stage of working with a mathematical problem as a means of forming schoolchildren's creative activity. The leading method of investigating this problem is to establish the correspondence between the components of the final stage of working with the mathematical problem and the procedural features of the student's creative activity. The study resulted in defining the structure of the final stage of working with a mathematical problem, which made it possible to identify a certain set of activities that make up the ability to work with the problem on the final stage of its solution. The article establishes the relationship between actions appropriate to this stage of work with the task and signs of the student's creative activity. It is proved that in the process of working with the problem on the final stage of its solution, students develop procedural features of creative activity. The author's method of forming students' creative activity suggested in the article can be used by the teachers of mathematics in school practice, by the authors of methodological manuals for students and teachers, and also can be used as the basis for a special course for students of pedagogical universities

© 2017 Serials Publications. The relevance of the investigated problem is caused by the need for theoretical basis for special activities aimed at prevention the first-year students' psychological maladjustment on the one hand, and insufficient development of theory, methodology and content of such activities on the other. It is important to diagnose emerging problems of first-year students' adaptation correctly in order to provide them with psychological help, to overcome psychological maladjustment factors during the initial period of their higher school training. The aim of the article is to justify the choice of psycho-diagnostic tools, to present the means of tools testing, to summarize the results of psycho-diagnostics of first-year students' social and psychological adaptation to a higher educational environment. The leading method of our research is psycho-diagnostics, it allows us to identify the most common causes, factors, and barriers in first-year students' effective adaptation to a higher school environment; the results of psycho-diagnostics can be used to provide students with timely psychological assistance, and to overcome psychological maladjustment factors. The results indicate that special activities aimed at the prevention of students' psychological maladjustment are of critical importance. The parameters of first-year students' adaptation levels, received on the basis of special criteria and with the help of psycho-diagnostic toolset, are presented in the article. The algorithm of psycho-diagnostic tools implementation is also given. The implementation of the proposed psycho-diagnostic toolset is aimed at prevention the first-year students' psychological maladjustment; it is focused on providing students with individual counseling and overcoming psychological maladjustment during their initial period of training

© 2016 Porchesku.Improving listening comprehension skills is one of the urgent contemporary educational problems in the field of second language acquisition. Understanding how L2 listening comprehension works can have a serious influence on language pedagogy. The aim of the paper is to discuss the practical and methodological value of the notion of the perception base of the language. It also highlights the importance of structural features and frequency of linguistic units in helping to determine teaching priorities in English language teaching, specifically, when training listening skills. The leading approaches to the problem of the paper are the psycholinguistic and statistical ones which help to identify practical teaching principles. The paper illustrates these approaches with the findings on the perceptually relevant features and frequency of the English words and sentences and their linguistic features. The findings are discussed in terms of their application in developing bottom-up listening skills and tested in a listening comprehension experiment. The materials of this article may be of use to those who are interested in problems of speech perception and improving the existing listening comprehension teaching techniques

© Author(s).The aim of the present research is the study of the application rate of learning technologies in KFU and VIIU electronic courses to improve students’ self-regulation. For this aim, this research was based on Kitsantas research, the rate of the use of effective learning technologies in students’ self-regulation in electronic courses in these two universities were studied. The statistical sample included the professors and attendants of the online courses. The research tool was interview. Results showed that wiki sites, podcasts and blogs that are effective in the creation of some of the self- regulatory processes are not used. In addition, the professors as a key factor in teaching process do not have sufficient knowledge about the role of learning technologies in promoting students’ self- regulation

© 2015, Mediterranean Center of Social and Educational Research. All rights reserved. A modern school needs a teacher, who is able to cooperate, with high level of mobility, dynamism, creative talent, with deep professional knowledge, competencies. High level of requirements in professional training of future specialists conditions a large volume of theoretical knowledge, practical knowledge and skills, competencies, which the student shall acquire during his studying in the university. At that, high competitiveness at labor market requires constant professional self-improvement and personal growth. The purpose of investigation is to determine the pedagogical conditions, promoting the successful formation of professionally significant personal qualities in students-future teachers of mathematics. The structure of personal professional qualities of the students presents a complex formation, consisting of three interconnected components: creative; cognitive and emotional-volitional. A system work was carried out on each structural component. The implementation of complex of pedagogical conditions for formation of personal professionally significant qualities in students-future math teachers was executed due to organization of pedagogical work in the universities in different forms: extracurricular activity, specially organized for development of creative projects, the educational process itself. The indicators of the results of executed pedagogical experiment prove, that the specified pedagogical conditions provide the effective formation of personal professionally significant qualities in students-future math teachers. The indicators of formedness of structural components of personal professionally significant qualities (cognitive, creative, emotional-volitional) were higher in experimental group. Positive dynamics in formation of personal professionally significant qualities per each of three components is definitely expressed in experimental group; the degree of reliance is lower in the control group. The results of experiments show, that the pedagogical conditions, which we distinguished in the course of experiment, promote the formation of personal professionally significant qualities in students-future math teachers, and also increase the effectiveness of professional development

The following criteria were identified: motivational-axiological (degree of awareness of the students the value of thinking culture); cognitive (the degree of awareness of operations and methods of thought activity); the operational (the nature of the operations and of intellectual activity techniques acquisition and skills to produce rational actions on their application in the educational and extracurricular cognitive processes) and personal (maturity of a reflective position, the degree of mind efficiency and the ability to solve problems creatively). The following provisions have been proved: methodological basis (it constitutes a dialectical and formal logic, the laws of non-contradiction and of the excluded middle); psychological basis (the definition of leading role of receptive kinds of communicative activity in a thinking culture development in a process of logic teaching); logical basis (adoption of logic as a necessary attribute of social life, which is also a way to communicate between different groups of people)
