Calculation of Long-Distance Effects in Exclusive Weak Radiative Decays of B-Mesons

We calculate the contribution of the weak annihilation to the BργB\rightarrow \rho\gamma decay amplitude by means of QCD sum rules using the photon light-cone wave function. We find that this long-distance contribution amounts to about 10\% of the leading short-distance effect in BργB^-\rightarrow \rho^-\gamma. On the other hand, weak annihilation is the dominant source of the corresponding DD meson decays and according to our estimates, yields branching ratios of O(104)O(10^{-4}) for D0Kˉ0γD^0\rightarrow \bar{K}^{*0}\gamma, O(105)O(10^{-5}) for Dsρ+γD_s\rightarrow \rho^+\gamma, and O(106)O(10^{-6}) for DργD^-\rightarrow \rho^-\gamma and for D0ρ0γD^0\rightarrow \rho^0\gamma.Comment: 14 pages, Latex, two figures added as an uuencoded .ps fil

Magnetic dipole moment of the light tensor mesons in light cone QCD sum rules

    Get PDF
The magnetic dipole moments of the light tensor mesons f2f_2, a2a_2 and strange K20(1430)K_2^{\ast 0} (1430) tensor meson are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that the values of the magnetic dipole moment for the charged tensor particles are considerably different from zero. These values are very close to zero for the light neutral f2f_2 and a2a_2 tensor mesons, while it has a small nonzero value for the neutral strange K20(1430)K_2^{\ast 0} (1430) tensor meson.Comment: 12 Pages and 1 Tabl
