The present study aims to identify and describe the function of grammatical cohesive devices utilized at the discourse level. Business letters for the construction and maintenance of Falluja bridge between 1927-1929 were analyzed to show the communicative functions of the grammatical cohesive devices. To this end, the study adopted Halliday and Hassan’s (1976) model of grammatical cohesion. The conclusions arrived at reflect the discoursal value of the grammatical cohesive devices that contribute to the cohesion of the text via communicative functions. The recurrence of grammatical cohesive devices reveals that the selected business letters are closely related to the value that they have in their communicative purposes. Pots experiment of tomato plants was conducted in Directorate of Diyala Agriculture, plant pathology Lab during 2016 , nematicidal activities of aqueous extracts from plants viz., Garlic, Ginger , Castor bean , Nerium and Eucalyptus were assayed against root knot nematode Meloidogyne sp. The results showed that nematicide (Oxymethoed LS) and Castor bean recorded maximum shoot weight of plants (10.6 and 9.0 g) respectively while root weight was increased in treatments of Oxymethoed and ginger (2.45 and 1.5 g) respectively after control treatment (l7.53 g) whereas Oxymethoed and Nerium reduced number of juveniles/pot (0.0,80) respectively. Huffman coding is very important technique in information theory. Compression technique is the technology for reducing the amount of data used to denote any content without decreasing the quality. Furthermore, Clock gating is an effective method for decreasing power consumption in a sequence design. It saves more power by dividing the main clock and distributing the clock to the logic blocks only when there is a need for those blocks to be activated. This paper aim to design Huffman coding and decoding process with proposing a novel method of clock gating to achieve low power consumption. Huffman design is executed by expending ASIC design procedures. With the purpose of executing the encoder and decoder structures, 130 nm typical cell technology libraries are utilized for ASIC implementation. The simulations are completed by utilizing Modelsim tool. The design of coding and decoding process has been made using Verilog HDL language. Moreover, it carried out using Quartus II 14.1 Web Edition (64-Bit)
