Performing Customer Behavior Analysis using Big Data Analytics
AbstractAlthough there are many systems that have implemented customer behavior analytics, it's still an upcoming and unexplored market that has greater potential for better advancements. Big data is one of the most rising technology trends that have the capability for significantly changing the way business organizations use customer behavior to analyze and transform it into valuable insights. Even decision trees can be used efficiently for analyzing data. At the end of this paper, a proposed Map Reduce implementation of well-known statistical classifier, C4.5 decision tree algorithm has been proposed. Apart from this, the system aims to implement Customer data visualization using Data Driven Documents (d3.js) which allows us to build well customized graphics
FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF NEUSILIN US2 ADSORBED AMORPHOUS SOLID SELF-MICROEMULSIFYING DELIVERY SYSTEM OF ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM ®
ABSTRACTObjective: The objective of the present study was to improve the dissolution profile of poorly water-soluble atorvastatin calcium (ASC), via formationof its solid self-microemulsifying drug delivery system (SSMEDDS).Methods: The SSMEDDS was prepared using oleic acid, Tween 80 and propylene glycol as an oil phase, surfactant, and co-surfactant, respectively.Initially, the solubility of ASC was examined in different oils, surfactants and co-surfactants, and pseudo-ternary phase diagrams were constructedsubsequently to optimize the ratio of the excipients having greater microemulsion region. The liquid self-emulsifying batches of ASC were developedwith the optimized excipients and evaluated for droplet size, zeta potential, percentage transmittance, self-emulsification time assessment, dispersibilitytest, and drug release. Neusilin US2 was employed as an adsorbent to transform optimized liquid emulsifying batch A1 to solid formulation. The solidformulation was characterized by particle size analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray powder diffractometry, scanning electron microscopy, and in vitro drug release.®Results: The characterization studies revealed the transformation of crystalline ASC to amorphous form in solid adsorbed batch. The drug releasestudies demonstrated remarkable improvement in dissolution profile of ASC from its liquid as well as SSMEDDS as compared to pure drug. Conclusion: The development of SSMEDDS could be a reliable and alternative approach for improvement of dissolution performance of ASC.Keywords: Atorvastatin, Self-microemulsifying, Amorphous, Formulation, Neusilin® US2
Economic Analysis of Impact Assessment of Production Technology of Paddy Cultivation in Nasik Region of Maharashtra in India
The study had assessed the impact assessment of production technology of paddy cultivation in Nasik region of Maharashtra for the year 2016-17, based on the data of costs and returns. Analytical techniques like benefit-cost ratio (BCR), technology adoption index, yield gap, were exercised to have the extent of economic impact of improved paddy technology. High adopter group earned the net profit of ` 2298.09/ha (BCR=1.32) compared to ` 3629.3/ha ( BCR= 1.06) for low adopter group. Average technology adoption index was 71.57 per cent indicating that the farmers adopting recommended production technology of paddy could get yield of 41.63q/ha. Factor share analysis showed that contribution of Char-sutri method to the total yield was the highest yield (i.e. 32.84 per cent) which was followed by urea (19.76 per cent), doses of manures (12.02 per cent), intercultural operation, planting distance, transplanting time contributes about 8.09 per cent etc. respectively. Estimates of yield gap analysis proved existence of yield gap in all level which ranged from 41 percent (low adopter) to 23 percent (high adopter). So, reduction or bridging up the yield gap may be utmost priority to increase the overall production and income of the farmers
Studies on arbuscular mycorrhisation of papaya
Carica papaya L. is known to exhibit a strong growth response to colonisation by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi; yet it is generally believed that mycorrhizal growth effects are primarily nutritionally mediated and are inversely related to improved soil fertility, especially available soil P, which affects the fungus symbiotic effectiveness. This study was, therefore, undertaken to evaluate the influence of selective arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi on vegetative growth of Carica papaya L. Studies were carried out in India on mycorrhization of Carica papaya var.Surya seedlings. The experiment comprised of un-inoculated seedlings, seedlings inoculated with Glomus intraradices, seedlings inoculated with Glomus mosseae and seedlings inoculated with mixed inoculum[Glomus intraradices + Glomus mosseae]. Inoculation with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi significantly (
SCENE AND OBJECT CLASSIFICATION USING BRAIN WAVES SIGNAL
This study aims to classify the scene and object using brain waves signal. The dataset captured by the electroencephalograph (EEG) device by placing the electrodes on scalp to measure brain signals are used. Using captured EEG dataset, classifying the scene and object by decoding the changes in the EEG signals. In this study, independent component analysis, event-related potentials, and grand mean are used to analyze the signal. Machine learning algorithms such as decision tree, random forest, and support vector machine are used to classify the data. This technique is useful in forensic as well as in artificial intelligence for developing future technology.Â
Evaluation of effect of pospartum intrauterine contraceptive device
Background: This study was done to compare and evaluate safety, efficacy and complications of PPIUCD and interval IUCD insertion and to generate evidence on the safety and effectiveness of these two types of IUCD insertions. Methods: This prospective study was carried out at tertiary care center and Teaching Institute in the Department of obstetrics and gynecology. All enrolled patients in obstetrics and gynecology from 1/2/16 to 31/7/16 were included in this study. Women fulfilling inclusion criteria were included in the study after informed consent. Study protocol was approved by ethics committee. Results: A total of 44 women fulfilling WHO standard medical criteria for PPIUCD insertion and willing to comply with study protocol had PPIUCD insertion. Cause of removal was mainly bleeding (2 cases, 50%) in interval IUCD group. 4 cases of spontaneous expulsion noted in vaginal delivery group prior to 6 weeks. The cumulative rate of complications were higher in PPIUCD group in our study (12 out of 44 i.e. 27.27% and 4 out of 20% in PPIUCD group and interval IUCD group respectively). Compliance of patient was highest in trans cesarean group 87.5%.Conclusions: Postpartum insertion of PPIUCD is safe effective, feasible and reversible method of contraception
Ovarian huge serous cystadenoma with torsion in adolescent girl: a case report
In adolescent Ovarian cysts are an extremely common gynaecological problem. Majority of ovarian cysts are benign with few cases being malignant. Ovarian serous cystadenomas are rare in children. A 14-year-old presented with severe abdominal pain and abdominal distention. She underwent emergency laparotomy and surgical removal, the mass was found to be torsion of ovarian serous cystadenoma-fibroma on histology. In conclusions, germ cell tumours the most important causes for the giant ovarian masses in children. Epithelial tumours should not be forgotten in the differential diagnosis
