The object of this paper is the research of agronomic and quality trains of winter varieties (hordeum vulgare L.) their adaptability and specific reactions towards growing conditions in the Republic of Kosovo. During three year trails on localities in Dukagjini area and area of Kosovo we researched 5 winter barley varieties. Environment has been explored together with estimation of significant parameters of grain yield, hectoliter weight, protein and starch content. Impact of year, location and variety on grain yield, hectoliter grain weight, protein and starch content has been estimated by analysis of variance. Environmental effects of planting barley cultivars in the Dukagjini area and area of Kosovo is based on a study that determines the influence of climatic factors, temperature and moisture, the quality of barley for beer production. Experiments were set according to the method of randomized blocks in three repetitions. Area of each experimental plot was 10 m2. In the laboratory at the Agricultural Institute of Kosovo, and close laboratory brewery in Peja were analyzed: the content of protein (%), weight (1000 seeds in grams), hectoliters weight (kg), humidity (%), yield (kg/ha), starch, color, aroma, impurity. Results obtained showed that parameters of achieved grain yield show that under favorable growing conditions one can expect better results of varieties Zllatko, Barun and Vanesa

The object of study is the analysis of some varieties of winter barley (hordeum vulgare) for beer in the region climatic conditions of Dukagjini plain. Comparison of varieties has been a total of 4 cultivars of barley: Bingo, Vannes, Barun and Rex. Analysis of breeding and production are carried out in the region of Dukagjini: Peja Dukagjini Plain (in Arëbnesh, the Kosovo Institute of Agriculture research farm). Experiment was set according to the method of randomized blocks in three replication. In the laboratory at the Agricultural Institute of Kosovo, and close laboratory brewery in Peja. Cultivation analysis and production were analyzed yield (kg / ha), weight (1000 seeds in grams) hectoliter weight (kg), protein content (%), moisture (%), and Starch. The amount of protein in barley grain is one of the most important factors on which depend on the quality of beer production. In the amount of protein in barley grain with lots of variety characteristic, significantly influences the climate and agronomic factors of production, soil conditions during the vegetative season. Kosovo's agro-climatic and pedagogical data, compared with the yields obtained in the culture of winter barley show not using cultivated cultivars genetic potential to us. obtained results regarding showed that there were differences statistical significant different levels for all cultivars investigated traits involved in the plot compared to the standard (Rex). Keywords: barley, protein, weight hectoliter, yields

The object of study is the characterization of some winter barley cultivars (Hordeum vulgare), originating from Croatia. The survey included a total of 6 cultivars of barley: Bingo, Zlatko, Vannes, Esterel, Barun and Rex as comparative. Obtained cultivars regarding research pertaining to winter barley two rowed. Investigations were carried out in two agro-climatic regions of Kosovo (in Arbnesh, in research farm of the agricultural institute of Kosovo, Peja - Dukagjini Plain, and Pestova - Kosovo Plain, private property company "Pestova". Research tested yield (kg / ha), the weight of 1000 seeds (gr.) hectoliter weight (kg), protein content (%), moisture (%), and Starch. For this reason should be applied to a modern agro to exploit the genetic potential, and obtain higher yields. obtained results regarding showed that there were significant differences due to climatic conditions and different levels for all cultivars investigated traits involved in the plot compared to the standard (Rex) and between localities. Keywords: Winter barley, 1000 seed weight, hectoliter weight, yield

The object of study is investigation of suitability of certain cultivars of wheat (Triticum aestivum L) of Hungary. In research have been 5 cultivars of wheat: Subo, Kolo, Marshall, Beres, meanwhile as comparative cultivar Europe 90. Investigations were conducted in Dukagjin Plain (in Arbnesh in agricultural institute research farm of Kosova, Peje-Dukagjini Plain, Research, have been tested yield (kg/ha), weight, (of 1000 seeds in gram), hectoliter weight (kg), protein content (%), humidity (%), gluten and sedimentation. Agro-climatic and pedological data in Kosova, compared with yields obtained in culture wheat show no use of genetic potential of cultivars that are cultivate in. For this reason should be applied a contemporary agro-technics to be use genetic potential, and got higher yields. The results had indicated that there were significant statistical differences of different levels for researched features to all cultivars in plots compared with the standard (Europe 90) and between localities. Keywords: winter wheat, weight of 1000 seeds in gram, hectoliter weight kg, yield kg/ha

Grace grape (Uncinula necator) after the blight is the most important disease of grapes which causes great damage to this crop. This year work is done in order to research the most effective preparations to control the ash as well as assigning more sustainable cultivars to ash. The experiment is located in the municipality of Rahovec and cultivars Frankovka it in black and Burgundez was followed during 2013. For evaluating the effectiveness of the preparation and control of ash are using these chemical preparations: QUADRIS (Azoksistrobin), Falcon EC460 (tebuconazole, Triadimenol, Spiroxamin), COSA (prep. squfuri), Bayleton (Triadimefon). Karathane EC (Dinokap), Anvil (Heksakonazol), Rubigan (Fenarimol) and Saprol (Triforin). First spray against ash is made when shoots have reached 20 cm length. While the other sprays are made after every 12-15 days, splash total to six. Throughout vegetation made four assessments of disease, such as: first evaluation is done at the stage of entering the grains, then after every 15 to 20 days of an assessment. More resistant cultivar is shown Burgundezi ash black where the leaf disease index was 10.92 %, 20.36 % respectively in castles, while cultivar Frankovka had foliar disease index 15.95 %, respectively 25, and 29 % in the encampments. While regarding the efficacy of chemicals to control most successful ash are shown preparations that are used in variant B2 (Bayleton and Falcon EC460) where foliar disease index was 7.17 % and 12.71 % in the encampments. These results are highly significant compared with other options. Keywords: vine grace, chemical preparations and varieties of grape

19 potato cultivars were studied in the stage of vegetation in 2010, on two agro-ecological regions of Kosovo. The points of re-search were the vegetation period, rudiment per hectare, dry ma-tter and others. Results analysed have shown differences between cultivars in all parameters analysed in comparison with the indi-cating standard.

The object of study is investigation of suitability of certain cultivars of wheat (Triticum aestivum L) of Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia. In research have been only 5 cultivars of wheat: Kolo, Marshall, Illyria, Super Zhitarka and Lara meanwhile as comparative cultivars was Europe 90. Investigations were conducted in two agro-climatic regions of Kosova (in Arbnesh the research farm of the Agricultural Institute of Kosova, Peja - Dukagjini Plain, and in Pestova - Kosova Plain, Research "Pestova" private property company, have been tested yield (kg / ha), weight (1000 seeds in gram), hectolitar weight (kg), protein content (%), humidity (%), gluten and sedimentation. Agro-climatic and pedological data in Kosova, compared with obtained yields in culture wheat shows no use of genetic potential of cultivars that are cultivated in. For this reason should be applied a contemporary agrotechnics to be used genetical potential, and reached higher yields.
