Barkhausen Noise Emission in Hard Milled Surfaces of Steel C55
This paper deals with the application of the Barkhausen noise technique in the nondestructive monitoring of hard milled surfaces. The paper discusses strong magnetic anisotropy linked with microstructural transformations of a machined surface with regard to variable flank wear of cutting inserts. Effective values of Barkhausen noise, peak positions derived from the raw Barkhausen noise signals, the shape of hysteresis loops as well as the Barkhausen noise envelopes are compared with metallographic observations and theoretical background regarding the magnetic domains configuration in the near surface region. A possible concept by which hard milled surfaces could be monitored in real industrial conditions in a non-destructive manner is driven by the specific surface state of the microstructure as well as by the magnetic point of view
Legal aspects of the international trade of arms
The aim of my rigorous thesis is to describe issue of regulation of the international trade of arms focused on the Czech legal regulation. Rigorous thesis is focused on the basic information in the field of the legal and illegal arm trafficking. First part (chapter 1, 2, 3) concerns the security risks of trade of arms, maps the development of the arm trafficking, the present state of this area and structure of the arm trafficking. The second part (chapter 4, 5, 6) describes the legal framework of the international trade of arms. It is focused on the international legal regulations including regimes of control, communitary law and country legislation. There is given the analysis of the particular field concerning the arm trafficking and at the end there is always given a part of the administrative punishment. The end of the second part does not miss the comparison of the legal regulation within the neighbouring countries. Next part (chapter 7) refers about the topic by criminally legal protection. Generally there are described facts given by Penal Code with referenc to its amend. Conclusions are drawn in the last part (chapter 8). There is summarized the findings about problems with regulation of the international trade of arms and their possible solutions

Effect of Heat Treatment on Phase Stability in Iron Aluminides type Pyroferal Fe 42-45Al xC 0,7Si at.
katedra: KMT; přílohy: 1ks CD ROM; rozsah: 72Diploma work contains summary of knowledge about iron aluminides type FeAl, describes effect of carbon and silicon on alloy. It further deals with effect of heat treatment on structure of alloys type Pyroferal with contain of carbon 3,7 to 4,9 atomic %. Prismatic specimens of four alloys were prepared using melting and casting in laboratory vacuum furnace. Rolling of samples was done on laboratory kvarto finisher Institute modeling and proceedings of forming process VSB-TUO after heating on 1230°C in casual electric resistance furnace without protective atmosphere. It was{\dots}. three types of annealing (800°C/8hours/oil, 1100°C/24hours/oil, 1150°C/200hours/air) and then was investigated and described structure of scratch patterns using light optical microscopy, measuring of microhardness, scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-Ray analyze and X-Ray diffraction.Diplomová práce obsahuje souhrn poznatků o aluminidech železa typu FeAl, popisuje vliv uhlíku a křemíku na slitinu. Dále se zabývá vlivem tepelného zpracování na strukturu slitin typu Pyroferal s obsahem uhlíku 3,7 až 4,9 at. %. Hranolovité vzorky čtyř slitin byly připraveny tavením a odléváním v laboratorní vakuové peci. Válcování vzorků proběhlo na laboratorní kvarto stolici Ústavu modelování a řízení tvářecích procesů VŠB-TUO po ohřevu na 1230°C v běžné elektrické odporové peci bez ochranné atmosféry. Byly provedeny tři typy žíhání (800°C/8h/olej, 1100°C/24h/olej, 1150°C/200h/vzduch) a následně byla zkoumána a popsána struktura výbrusů s využitím optické mikroskopie (LOM), měření mikrotvrdosti, rastrovací elektronové mikroskopie (SEM), energiově-disperzní prvkové analýzy (EDAX) a strukturní rentgenografie (XRD)
