周知の通り、オーストラリアは、アメリカ、カナダと並ぶ移民国家である。移民国家の特徴として挙げられるのは、帰化しなくても自国の国籍を保持したまま永住権を取得し、安定した居住を送られることにある。同国に限っては、二重国籍も認められているため、国籍国の法が許すのであれば二つの国籍を有し、さらなる安定した居住も可能である。このため、いろいろな国の人々が集まり、多文化主義を成功させている国のイメージが保たれている。しかし、現在のオーストラリアでは、高等法院が、永住者をも「外国人」として取り扱い、相当長期にわたって同国で居住していた者まで、退去強制令の対象とするという判決を下したため、一概にそうとも言えなくなってきた。何故、そのようなことになったのか、永住者には、同国に居住する権利はないのか。移民国家へ相当長期または永続的に居住することを目的とする移民は、永住者だけではない。このような者が、居住国を本拠地として選び、安定した居住を保障されることは、基本的人権にかかわることではないのか。本稿の目的は、相当長期ないし永久に居住する者に対する「居住の権利」についての探求にある。この点を明らかにするためには、まず、同国の歴史、法の変遷、判例を分析し、当該権利の性質を明らかにすることが必要不可欠である。従来の考え方において、「居住する権利」ないし「自国に戻る権利」は、国民特有の権利として認識されてきた。しかし、現在の国際化社会に求められることは、国民以外の者に対する当該権利の探求にある。この考え方に特化しているのは、外国人を自国に有益な存在として長期ないし永続的に受け入れることに長けている移民国家であることは間違いなかろう。そこで、本稿では、移民国家のなかでも、かつて「家族再会」の理念の下に移民政策を行ってきた歴史のあるオーストラリア法を明確にし、この先、わが国が考えなければならない外国人受入れに関する法制度の再構築について検討する。研究論

Mainly for the second grade students, the necessary points in order to making better science class lessons in elementary and junior high schools and the impression to the science class lessons which they have taken in their elementary school and junior high school were investigated. As the impression in elementary school science, funny and laboratory works were mentioned, and on the other hand, difficulty for studying and the feeling of weak point in the science lesson of their junior high school were found, beside of laboratory works as a good impression. They could ascertain the nature of natural phenomena by making experiments, while calculation and some fields were thought as weak points in 16% of them. In this study, for making better science class lesson plans as professional teachers, it could shown that they want to gain not only fundamental knowledge but also extensive knowledge, also much practical experience. Novel Calcium-Binding Ablating Mutations Induce Constitutive RET Activity and Drive Tumorigenesis

Here, computational modeling of 71, 756 RET variants for positive selection together with functional assays of 110 representative variants identified a three-dimensional cluster of VUSs carried by multiple human cancers that cause amino acid substitutions in the calmodulin-like motif (CaLM) of RET. Molecular dynamics simulations indicated that CaLM mutations decrease interactions between Ca²⁺ and its surrounding residues and induce conformational distortion of the RET cysteine-rich domain containing the CaLM. RET-CaLM mutations caused ligand-independent constitutive activation of RET kinase by homodimerization mediated by illegitimate disulfide bond formation. RET-CaLM mutants possessed oncogenic and tumorigenic activities that could be suppressed by tyrosine kinase inhibitors targeting RET. This study identifies calcium-binding ablating mutations as a novel type of oncogenic mutation of RET and indicates that in silico–driven annotation of VUSs of druggable oncogenes is a promising strategy to identify targetable driver mutations
