    Group work environments have gradually been available because of the maturity of personal computing environments and the wide spread of distributed computing environments. Groupware to support these environments raises a lot of new issues along with their progress. Taking group discussion on computer communication as an example of cooperative work in order to attack these issues, we are trying to support it. Especially, focusing on real-time communication, we have expanded our group communication tools based on the usage of them and our experiences with them so far. Reviewing our groupware environment and reconsidering its support tools, this paper describes prototype of real-time communication facilities for group programming and its experimental application

    由布市小中学校の情報化

    情報化が急速に進むに伴い,文部科学省は,小中高等学校等における情報教育を円滑に進めるため「平成17年度までに,すべての小中高等学校等が各学級(教室)にLANの接続環境を整え,各教科の授業においてコンピュータを活用できる環境を整備する」ことを目標に,教育用コンピュータの整備やインターネットへの接続,教職員研修の充実,教育用コンテンツの開発・普及などを推進してきた。しかしながら,目標達成年度を過ぎても,多くの学校で環境整備が整っていない現状がある。また,教える教職員が足らないなどの課題も依然として残されている。平成18年度,本学は由布市から「小中学校階級推進支援事業」の委託を受け,由布市小中学校の情報化を由布市の行政(由布市教育委員会)、由布市小中学校教職員と共に行っている。本研究報告では,「情報コーディネータによる学校現場での対応,遠隔からの電話サポート,夏季の研修会などの由布市小中学校の情報化支援活動により,小中学校の情報化がどのように進み,どのような効果が得られ,また,どのような課題があるかを明らかにする
