    HUBUNGAN ANTARA ASUPAN ENERGI DENGAN STATUS GIZI PADA PELAJAR SMP DI WILAYAH MALALAYANG I KOTA MANADO

    Asupan makanan yang melebihi kebutuhan tubuh akan menyebabkan kelebihan berat badan. Sebaliknya, asupan makanan kurang dari yang dibutuhkan akan menyebabkan tubuh menjadi rentan terhadap penyakit. Data hasil Riskesdas tahun 2010 menunjukan status gizi di Sulawesi Utara, sangat pendek 1,4%, pendek 31,8% sangat kurus 0,0%, kurus 3,6%, normal 94,3%, dan gemuk 2,1%. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilakukan pada bulan Januari-Maret tahun 2016 pada pelajar di SMP Spektrum Malalayang Kota Manado dan SMP Kristen Lahai Roi Malalayang Kota Manado. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu 94 pelajar. Analisa data menggunakan korelasi spearman. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakkan metode wawancara, kuesioner food recall 2x24 jam dan pengukuran Antropometri (Tinggi Badan, dan Berat Badan). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa asupan energi yang cukup sebanyak 57 pelajar (60,6%) dan sebanyak 79 pelajar (84%) memiliki status gizi normal. Berdasarkan analisis statistik dengan menggunakan uji korelasi spearman nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar r=-0,388 dan taraf signifikan atau nilai p sebesar 0,000 (p <0,05). Terdapat hubungan antara asupan energi dengan status gizi pada pelajar di SMP Spektrum Manado dan SMP Kristen Lahai Roi Manado. Kata Kunci: Pelajar, Asupan Energi, Status Gizi ABSTRACTFood intake exceeds body requirements will cause overweight. This research use analytic observational method with cross sectional approach conducted in January-March the year 2016 at students in the Junior High School Spectrum Malalayang Manado City and Christian Junior High School Lahai Roi Malalayang Manado City. Data collected by questionnaire method interview, use their food recall 2x24 hours and measurements of Anthropometry (height and weight). The results of this study showed that intake of sufficient energy amounted to 57 students (60.6%) and as much as 79 students (84%) had normal nutritional status. Based on statistical analysis using the spearman correlation coefficient test correlation of r =-0.388 and significant extent or value of 0.000 p (p < 0.05).There is a significant correlation between the energy intake and the nutritional status of students in the Junior High School Spectrum Malalayang Manado City and Christian Junior High School Lahai Roi Malalayang Manado City. Keywords: Learner, Energy Intake, Nutritional Status

    HUBUNGAN ANTARA USIA PERTAMA PEMBERIAN MAKANAN PENDAMPING AIR SUSU IBU (MP-ASI) DENGAN STATUS GIZI BAYI 6-12 BULAN DI PUSKESMAS TUMINTING

    Tumbuh dan kembang bayi sangat berperan penting terhadap makanan, karena bayi pada masa itu sedang dalam masa tumbuh sehingga segala kebutuhan bayi berbeda dengan kebutuhan orang dewasa. Hal ini sejalan dengan anjuran WHO/UNICEF mengungkapkan antara lain pemberian makanan pendamping ASI yang tepat diberikan sejak bayi berusia 6-24 bulan . Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis adakah hubungan antara usia pertama pemberian makanan pendamping air susu ibu (MP-ASI) dengan status gizi bayi 6-12 bulan di Puskesmas Tuminting. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat survey analitik dengan jenis desain cross sectional study. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 82 bayi yang tinggal diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Tuminting dan sampel ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan menggunakan kuesioner tentang usia pertama pemberian makanan pendamping air susu ibu (MP-ASI) dan Status Gizi. Analisa data yang digunakan yaitu Uji Sperman dengan n α = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik yang diperoleh terdapat hubungan antara usia pertama pemberian makanan pendamping air susu ibu (MP-ASI) dengan status gizi BB/U dan PB/U dengan nilai p value secara berurut (0,043) dan (0,041). Dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara usia pertama pemberian makanan pendamping air susu ibu (MP-ASI) dengan status gizi BB/PB dengan nilai p value (0,656).Kata Kunci : Usia Pertama,MP-ASI,Status GiziABSTRACTGrowing and developing baby plays an important role to the food, because the baby at that time is in the growing so that all the needs of the baby is different from the needs of adults. The purpose of this sudy is to analyze whether there is a relationship between the first age of complementary feeding of breast milk (MP-ASI) with nutritional status of infants 6-12 months in Tuminting Public Health Center. This type of research is an analytic survey with cross sectional design type. Data from 82 babies in the work area of Tuminting Public Health Center were taken by using purposive sampling technique with questionnaire about first age of complementary feeding of mother’s milk (MP-ASI) and nutritional status based on the result of statistical test (sperman test), obtained there is relationship between the first age of complementary feeding of breast milk (MP-ASI) with nutritional status of BB/U and PB/U (0,043 and 0,041). But there is no relationship between of the first age of complementary feeding of breast milk (MP-ASI) with nutritional status of BB/PB (0,656).Keyword : Age of First,MP-ASI, Nutritional Status

    Status gizi adalah ukuran keberhasilan dalam pemenuhan nutrisi untuk balita yang diindikasi oleh berat badan dan tinggi badan balita. Status gizi juga didefinisikan sebagai status kesehatan yang dihasilkan oleh keseimbangan antara kebutuhan dan masukan nutrient. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pemberian ASI Eksklusif, gambaran Status Gizi Balita dan gambaran pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan Status Gizi. Dilakukan dengan Cross Sectional Study dengan sampel sebanyak 81 Balita dengan usia 24 sampai 59 bulan. Alat ukur yang digunakan seperti Kuesioner, Timbangan, dan microtoise. Balita yang mendapatkan ASI Eksklusif sebesar 54.3%. Dari penelitian ini tidak didapatkan hubungan antara pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan Status Gizi BB/U dengan p = 0.725, TB/U dengan p= 0.657 BB/TB dengan p = 0.239. sehingga kesimpulan yang ditarik disini tidak ada hubungan antara pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan status gizi (BB/U,TB/U,BB/TB). Kata Kunci: ASI Eksklusif, Status Gizi, Balita. ABSTRACTNutritional status is a measure of success in fulfilling nutrition for toddlers as indicated by the weight and height of a toddler. Nutritional status is also defined as health status which is produced by a balance between nutrient needs and inputs. This study aims to determine the description of exclusive breastfeeding, description of Toddler Nutrition Status and description of exclusive breastfeeding with Nutritional Status There are also other factors that affect nutritional status in infants, namely infectious diseases and also the economic status of the family. Conducted by Cross Sectional Study with a sample of 81 toddlers with ages 24 to 59 months. Measuring instruments used such as questionnaires, scales, and microtoise. Toddlers who received exclusive breastfeeding were 54.3%. From this study there was no relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and Status for BB/U p = 0.725, TB / U p = 2.989, BB/TB p = 0.239. so the conclusions drawn here have no relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status (BB/U,TB/U,BB/TB). Keywords: Exclusive Breastfeeding, Nutritional Status, Children

    Rendahnya status gizi anak-anak sekolah akan membawa dampak negatif pada peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Kurang gizi pada masa fase cepat tumbuh otak dapat bersifat irreversible (tidak dapat pulih) dimana kecerdasan anak yang mengalami kurang gizi tidak bisa lagi berkembang secara optimal. Hal ini akan mengakibatkan kemampuan geometrik anak akan rendah dan anak tidak bisa berkonsentrasi secara maksimal.Untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara status gizi dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas 4 dan 5 SDN 1 Tounelet dan SD Katolik Santa Monica Kecamatan Langowan Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 4 dan 5 SDN 1 Tounelet SD Katolik St. Monica dengan jumlah total populasi 109 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang berjumlah 70 siswa. Data penelitian menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer berupa pengukuran tinggi badan dan berat badan siswa dan data sekunder yang terdiri dari data identitas siswa yang diperoleh dari data registrasi yang ada di sekolah dan data prestasi belajar siswa yang didapat dari nilai rata-rata hasil evaluasi akhir semester genap.Hasil uji Fisher Exact menunjukan tidak ada hubungan antara Status Gizi BB/U dengan prestasi belajar dengan nilai  p = (0,157 ) > α (0,05). Pada Status Gizi TB/U dengan prestasi belajar tidak terdapat hubungan dengan nilai p= (0,052 ) > α (0,05). Status Gizi BB/TB dengan prestasi belajar tidak terdapat hubungan dengan nilai p= (1,00) > α (0.05). Status Gizi IMT/U dengan prestasi belajar tidak terdapat hubungan dengan nilai p= (0,299) >  α (0.05).  Kata Kunci : Status Gizi, Prestasi Belajar ABSTRACTThe undernutrition status of school children will have a negative impact on improving the quality of human resources. This will result in geometric ability of children will be low and the child can not concentrate to the maximum.To determine whether there is a relationship between nutritional status and student achievement grades 4 and 5 SDN 1 Tounelet dan SD Katolik Santa Monica Kecamatan Langowan Barat.This study is observational analytic study with cross sectional study. The population in this study were students SDN 1 Tounelet and SD Katolik Santa Monica with total population 109 students. The sample in this study is the entire population who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria numbering 70 students. Data research using primary data and secondary data. The primary data of the measurement of height and weight of students and secondary data consisted of student identity data obtained from registration data that is in school and student achievement data is obtained from the average value of the results of the final evaluation of the semester.The Fisher Exact Test results showed no relationship between nutritional status Weight for Age and academic achievement with a value of p = (0,157)> α (0.05). In the Nutritional Status of Height for Age with student achievement there was no correlation with the value of p = (0.052)> α (0.05).     Pemberian makanan selain ASI dalam hal ini Makanan Pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) harus diberikan secara bertahap mengikuti pertambahan usia anak karena dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan anak yang berdampak pada status gizi anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan usia pertama kali pemberian makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) pada anak usia 6-24 bulan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Remboken. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei analitik dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli sampai Agustus 2017 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Remboken. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua anak usia 6-24 bulan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Remboken yang berjumlah 207 anak dengan sampel sebanyak 137 sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan (p-value=0,030) dengan usia pertama kali pemberian MP-ASI dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara pendidikan (p-value=0,502), pekerjaan (p-value=0,284), usia (p-value=0,590), dukungan keluarga (p-value=0,703) dan status ekonomi (p-value=0,749) dengan usia pertama kali pemberian MP-ASI. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan usia pertama kali pemberian MP-ASI dan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pendidikan, pekerjaan, usia, dukungan keluarga, dan status ekonomi dengan usia pertama kali pemberian MP-ASI.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Pekerjaan, Usia, Pengetahuan, Dukungan Keluarga, Status Ekonomi, Makanan Pendamping ASIABSTRACTGiving of food other than breastfeeding in this complementary feeding of the breastfed child must be given in stages following the increase of the age of the baby because it can affect the growth of babies that have an impact on the nutritional status of infants. This research was conducted to find out the factors that are related with the age of the first complementary feeding of the breastfed child in children aged 6-24 months in the working area of Remboken Public Health Centre. This research is a type of analytic survey with cross-sectional design. This research was conducted in July to August 2017 in working area of Remboken Public Health Centre. The population in this research is all the children aged 6-24 months in working area of Remboken public health centre totalling 207 children. The sample in this research as much as 137 samples. The instruments used are questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate analysis and bivariat use chi-square test. The results showed, there is a relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0.030) with the age of the first compelemntary breastfeeding and there was no relationship between education (p-value = 0,502), work (p-value = 0,284), age (p-value = 0,590), family support (p-value = 0,703) and economic status (p-value = 0.749) with the age of the first complementary feeding of the breastfed child.     : Rice is the main type of food that is very essential to the people of Asia, especially in Indonesia. Color pigments, which are located on the outer layer of black rice paddy, have been reported to contain a mixture of anthocyanin compounds. Anthocyanin compounds act as antioxidants and free radical catchers, which serve to prevent some degenerative diseases. Black rice contains a nutritional value that is superior to other types of rice. It includes high content of protein, vitamins and minerals although there are distinct varieties depending on the location of production. This research has intended to determine the description of the activity and stability of the antioxidant from black rice extract (Oryza sativa L.) cultivars in Enrekang, South Sulawesi at 100 degrees Celsius heating with the periods of 0, 10, 20 and 30 minutes, and the antioxidant activity has been tested using DPPH and FRAP methods. Based on the results of the research using DPPH method, it was discovered that the activity of radical scavengers increased by the effect of the temperature from extracts of the black rice cultivar in Enrekang heated for 0, 10, 20, and 30 minutes at a temperature of 100 ° C and the antioxidant activity of the extracts of the black rice was relatively stable against heating that was tested using FRAP

    Permasalahan sosial yang dihadapi Indonesia salah satunya yaitu masih rendahnya status gizi masyarakat. Masalah gizi yang terjadi pada masa tertentu akan menimbulkan masalah pembangunan dimasa selanjutnya. Masalah gizi secara tidak langsung dipengaruhi oleh factor sosial ekonomi, seperti tingkat pendidikan, pendapatan keluarga, dan ketersediaan pangan.). Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakan terdapat Hubungan Antara Status Sosial Ekonomi Dengan Status Gizi Pada Anak Usia 24-59 Bulan Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Touluaan Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Cross Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 24-59 bulan yang berjumlah 356 balita. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara Purposive Sampling dengan penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus slovin sehingga jumlah sampel diambil yaitu 100 sampel. Berdasarkan hasil uji Statistik Fisher’s Exact Test diperoleh pendidikan ayah (BB/U p= 0,357, TB/U p= 0,264, BB/TB p= 0,675), pendidikan ibu (BB/U p=0,128, TB/U p=1,000, BB/TB p=0,381), pekerjaan ibu (BB/U p=1,000, TB/U p=0,437, BB/TB p=1,000), pendapatan keluarga (BB/U p=1,000, TB/U p=0,279, BB/TB p=1,000).     Pemberian Makanan Pendamping ASI (MPA-ASI) perlu memperhatikan ketepatan waktu pemberian, frekuensi, jenis, jumlah bahan makanan, dan cara pembuatannya (Maseko dan Ogawa, 2012). World Health Organization (WHO) merekomendasikan pemberian Makanan Pedamping ASI tepat pada usia 6 bulan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis apakah terdapat hubungan antara pendapatan, pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan jumlah anggota keluarga dengan usia pertama pemberian Makanan Pedamping Air Susu Ibu (MP-ASI) di Puskesmas Tuminting. Penelitian ini bersifat survei analitik dengan desain cross sectional study. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 82 bayi yang berusia 6-12 bulan, tidak sakit, cacat, dan tinggal di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tuminting yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data statistik menggunakan Uji Chi-Square dengan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat hubungan antara pendidikan dengan usia pertama pemberian MP-ASI (p=0,000), dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara pendapatan, pekerjaan, dan jumlah anggota keluarga dengan usia pertama pemberian MP-ASI pada bayi usia 6-12 bulan di Puskesmas Tuminting dengan nilai secara berurut (p=0,718), (p=0,501), dan (p=0,231).     : The development of technology facilitate all the activities, that make us not moving. This can increase the incidence of obesity that will be at risk for cardiovascular disease. When the atherosclerotic plaque formation involves inflammatory processes that can increase levels of Hs CRP, which is one marker of inflammation. The purpose of this study to determine differences in physical activity and Hs CRP in obese and non-obese groups and the relationship between physical activity levels of Hs CRP in students in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sam Ratulangi. The design of this study are analytical by using cross-sectional approach (cross-sectional). The research sample is determined by purposive sampling that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria, amounting to 59 students. Data were collected through questionnaires and through the measurement of physical activity levels of Hs CRP, and the data were analyzed using non-parametric test of Mann Whitney test and the Spearman test. The test results obtained by Mann Whitney test with p values ​​are 0.799 for MET values and 0.000 ​​for Hs CRP levels, which means there is no difference in activity in both groups and there is has difference Hs CRP levels in both groups. Then do the Spearman test at 95% significance level of p value of 0.638 is obtained which is greater than the value of α 0.05, which means the relationship between two variables declared statistically significant

    : Nutritional adequacy or sufficiency of energy in infants is still a public health problem, especially in developing countries and poor countries. As a developing country, Indonesia still has macronutrient deficiencies such as stunting, wasting, and underweight. Maternal level of knowledge about nutrition influences the attitude and behavior in chosing the appropriate and qualified food. This study was aimed to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and the adequacy of energy intake of toddlers at Mopusi village. This was a correlation study with a cross sectional design. Respondents of this study were mothers who had toddlers aged 1-3 years and lived at Mopusi vollage in September 2014 - December 2014. Data were analyzed by using SPSS. The results showed that there were 90 mothers as respondents. Based on maternal knowledge about nutrition, there were 41 respondents (45.6%) with poor knowledge. Based on adequate intake of energy toddlers, there were 75 toddlers (83%) with less energy intake. The relationship between maternal knowledge about nutrition and the adequacy of energy intake among toddlers showed the correlation coefficient r = 0.06 and p = 0.97. Conclusion: There was no significant correlation between maternal knowledge about nutrition and the adequacy of energy intake among toddlers at Mopusi village
