Get PDF
This paper presents a review of the current status and development trends of the non-fungible tokens’ technology (NFT), which are digital rights to unique objects recorded in the blockchain. The object of the study is the non-interchangeable token technology. The subject of the study is the fields of practical application of NFT. The method is an analytical review of scientific publications. The current state and socio-cultural sources of the NFT market related to works of art and media objects are analysed. The technological and legal problems preventing the wide spread of NFT in the business environment are identified. The prospects for the use of non-fungible tokens in the field of protection and commercialization of patent law objects are considered

Intelligent Technologies in the Examination of Construction Structures

Categoiy of technical condition (normative, workable imited operational or emergency), which is determined by engineering inspection of buildings and structures, is the main criterion in making decisions about the degree of accident or the need to take measures to bring it to further use. The decisions taken depend on the objectivity and reliability of the information provided ty expertswhich sometimes cannot be interpreted as completely true or complete^ false. It seems advisable to strengthen and expand the professional capabilities of specialists who are engaged in the survey of construction sites through the use of expert systems on the basis of the mathematical apparatus of the theoiy of fuzzy sets and fuzzylogic. This makes it possible to take into account the scatter of individual opinions. Information from the subject area of technical diagnostics of buildings is formalized in terms of fuzzy sets with the use of membership functions created for both input and output control parameters. To implement the fuzzy logical inference, Mamdani's algorithm, modified and adapted to the given problem, was proposed. This technology allows to give a strict mathematical description of vague statements realizing an attempt to overcome alinguistic barrier between a person whose judgments and assessments are approximate and indistinct and a computer that can on^ perform clear instructions. A computer program has been developed that implements the method of identification of the category of technical condition of building structures on the basis of fuzzy knowledge bases

THE COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS OF REAL AND NUMERICAL EXPERIMENTS FOR DEFINING THE ULTIMATE BEARING CAPACITY OF LIGHT GAUGE STEEL STUDS “ATLANT”

The article in question describes the results of comparison of numerical and real experiments, presented in the report of the Canadian laboratory “Bodycote” [1]. The paper depicts the test fixture, on witch six samples (two typical sizes) of light gauge steel stud “ATLANT” were tested. As a result, dependencies between bearing capacity and characteristic displacements were received. In order to repeat the experiment, the series of computer models were created with the software ANSYS. The computer models have complex nature: geometrical / physical nonlinearity was used. For accounting steel material nonlinearity, we used a multilinear model with isotropic hardening (MISO). The proper diagram was used for each typical size in accordance with the experiments on the tensile-testing machine. For the purpose of supporting condition and load modeling which are identical to the full-scale experiment, a couple of contact elements were used. The utilization of contact elements allowed us to consider friction between the sample and the supporting structures. One of the disadvantages of the full-scale experiment is the absence of measurements of the initial geometrical imperfections. For their consideration the use of probabilistic approach is suggested. This approach entails calculation of several models with different spread of initial imperfections. The initial geometrical imperfections with stochastic nature were included in the computing model. Parameters of distribution were based on the measurements of eighty-eight C-shaped members [8]. In the result of comparison, fine precision in terms of the ultimate bearing capacity and deformation pattern were established. According to expectation, the results of the full-scale experiments were found inside the fictitious “corridor”, created in accordance with the results of computer modeling

Analysis of the use of the electronic document management system in federal executive authorities

Get PDF
The electronic document management system is one of the most popular products for implementation at various enterprises in various industries, ranging from heavy industry to state organizations and federal authorities. Document flow in many companies is carried out on paper, and this, in turn, causes great difficulties in processing, storing and executing documents. Paper archives occupy hundreds of square meters of storage space, and if necessary, it is very difficult to find the right document among a large amount of waste paper. In this regard, many companies begin to review their activities and move away from paper document management to electroni

Regulatory effect of polyamines and indole on expression of stress adaptation genes in Escherichia coli

Background. Indole and polyamines are involved in the regulation of physiological processes in bacteria associated with adaptation to stress, biofilm formation, antibiotic tolerance, and bacterial persistence. However, the molecular targets and mechanisms of action of these metabolites are still poorly understood. In this work, we studied the effect of polyamines and indole on the expression of such genes as: rpoS, relA, and spoT, encoding regulators of the general stress responses and starvation; hns and stpA, encoding global regulators of gene expression; rmf, yqjD, hpf, raiA, rsfS, sra, ettA, encoding ribosome hibernation factors. The aim. To study the regulatory effects of polyamines and indole on the expression of these genes, which are responsible for the adaptation of Escherichia coli to stress.Materials and methods. We used strains of E. coli in this study. The amount of polyamines was studied by thin layer chromatography. The indole concentration was determined by high performance liquid chromatography. Gene expression was studied using real-time RT-PCR.Results. The addition of polyamines putrescine, cadaverine and spermidine to the medium stimulated the expression of all the studied genes. The maximal stimulation was observed at the stationary phase mostly. Putrescine and spermidine had the most significant effect. At 24 h of cultivation, an equimolar conversion of exogenous tryptophan into indole was showed. At this time, the expression of two genes – rmf and raiA – increased.Conclusions. We have shown that polyamines upregulate the expression of all the studied genes at the transcriptional level. The stimulating effect is specific for the phase of the batch culture and the type of polyamine. Indole has a positive effect on the expression of the rmf and raiA genes

CONCEPTUAL MODEL OF AN IT-SOLUTIONS FOR PATENT RESEARCH AUTOMATION

Get PDF
The article is devoted to the development of a conceptual model patent of the patent analytics module integrated into the SAP corporate information system. It has been shown that patent research plays an important role in the strategic development of an enterprise based on the study of market trends. It has been proven that since the future strategy of the company depends on such a large dataset and the person is not able to assess the situation efficiently and consider a broad introduction, reengineering of the process of data collection and analysis is required, on which the fate of the enterprise depends. The primary purpose of this module is to provide automation of this kind of analysis and planning of strategic development of the enterprise. Moreover, the information collected by the system will help to correctly allocate funds for research and development programs

Pain as one of the risk factors for progression of knee osteoarthrosis

Objective: to study the impact of pain intensity on the progression of knee osteoarthrosis (OA). Subjects and methods. One hundred and ten patients with knee OA were examined at a 5-year interval. All the patients underwent a questionnaire survey and knee joint pain assessment using a visual analog scale (VAS) and standard radiography. Results. After 5-year follow-up, radiographic OA progression was seen in 40 patients (Group 2); its stage remained the same in 70 patients (Group 1). In both groups, the patients were matched for age (59.2+9.5 and 59.0+8.1 years) and disease duration (11.1+10.6 and 13.7+9.9 years). During the first examination, pain on walking was more severe in Group 1 than in Group 2: 57.8+16.6 and 48.7+13.3 mm by VAS (р=0.002), as well as severe joint pain was predominant in these patients: 22.5 and 11.4%, respectively. Over the 5-year period, there was an increase in pain intensity. At the end of the follow-up, the patients with progressive OA rated their knee joint pain as severe in 35% of cases whereas in this index the non-progression group was only 12.9 (p = 0.012). Conclusion. In the OA progression group, pain intensity was initially statistically higher than that in the non-progression group. During 5-year follow-up, Group 1 showed an increase in knee joint pain intensity on walking, which can be considered as one of the predictors of gonarthrosis progression
