The ethical meaning of the Christology of Colossians : perspectives from a rhetorical analysis
This dissertation is a detailed analysis of the Epistle to the Colossians. The author uses
rhetorical critical methods and recognizes that the New Testament epistles are greatly influenced by
oratory. Also, the author demonstrates how rhetorical techniques assist Paul to express his thought
that the central idea of Christianity - the divine nature and saving work of Christ - has
unavoidable ethical implications. In the first chapter of his letter Paul cites Christological hymn; he
uses Christological theme during the whole epistle; the apostle concludes his admonition with the
Household code, in which social roles of the member of oikos are interpreted in relation to Christ.
According to Paul's teaching in Colossians, the power of Christ has universal scope and,
consequently, all aspects of human life, including everyday, societal relationships, must be brought
into submission to Christ.M.Th. (New Testament

Results estimation of surgical treatment of patients with congenital deformations of auricles
The results estimation of surgical treatment of 80 patients with congenital deformations of auricles, including 14 persons with I degree microtia, 31 persons with II degree and 35 persons with III degree microtia. In 9 cases restoration of auricles was bilateral, therefore total number of cases has made 89. In 37 cases of congenital deformation correction of auricles III- stage technique of otoplastic by R.C.Tanzer - B.Brent (1977, 1978) in updating S.Nagata (2002 [8,10,12] was applied. In 16 cases of auricles correction the plasticity by local fabrics and a free skin was applied [1 ], in 15 cases β otoplastic by A.T.Gruzdevoj (1970) [2] was used. The author's technique of formation of an upper-average department of an auricle (2007) was applied in 9 cases [4], II - stage otoplastic by J.Diffenbach (1845) was used in 9 cases [9] and in 3 cases the method of otoplastic by free skin-cartilage transplant from a healthy ear by G.V.Kruchinsky (1970) [6] was used.ΠΡΠΎΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½Π° ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½ΠΊΠ° ΡΠ΅Π·ΡΠ»ΡΡΠ°ΡΠΎΠ² Ρ

Severity scoring of manganese health effects for categorical regression
Characterizing the U-shaped exposure response relationship for manganese (Mn) is necessary for estimating the risk of adverse health from Mn toxicity due to excess or deficiency. Categorical regression has emerged as a powerful tool for exposure-response analysis because of its ability to synthesize relevant information across multiple studies and species into a single integrated analysis of all relevant data. This paper documents the development of a database on Mn toxicity designed to support the application of categorical regression techniques. Specifically, we describe (i) the conduct of a systematic search of the literature on Mn toxicity to gather data appropriate for dose-response assessment; (ii) the establishment of inclusion/exclusion criteria for data to be included in the categorical regression modeling database; (iii) the development of a categorical severity scoring matrix for Mn health effects to permit the inclusion of diverse health outcomes in a single categorical regression analysis using the severity score as the outcome variable; and (iv) the convening of an international expert panel to both review the severity scoring matrix and assign severity scores to health outcomes observed in studies (including case reports, epidemiological investigations, and in vivo experimental studies) selected for inclusion in the categorical regression database. Exposure information including route, concentration, duration, health endpoint(s), and characteristics of the exposed population was abstracted from included studies and stored in a computerized manganese database (MnDB), providing a comprehensive repository of exposure-response information with the ability to support categorical regression modeling of oral exposure data

Dynamics of indicators of neuron-specific enolase (NSE) in patients in acute period of ischemic stroke depending on neurological deficit and hemodynamics
An inspection is conducted 70 patients with atherothrombotic subtype of hemispheric ischemic stroke (mean age 65 Β± 1,7 years) were divided according to the degree of neurological deficit: with paresis to 2 points - group I (32 people), with paresis to 4 points - group II36 people). The comparative analysis of neurological deficit is given, level neuron - specific enolase (NSE) in blood, hemodynamic indexes, character of atherosclerotic name-plates, exposed on the basis of ultrasonic duplex research of main arteries of cerebrum in a dynamics. Dependence is exposed between expressed of neurological defect, degree of damage of fabric of brain, characterized by the change of level of NSE and degree of disturbances of hemodynamic. The relationship between the se-verity of the neurological defect, the degree of damage to brain tissue, characterized by an increase in the level of NSE, and the degree of hemodynamic disturbance are revealed. Correlation of NSE dynamics and dynamics of neuro-logical deficit in acute period of atherothrombotic ischemic stroke was found.ΠΡΠΎΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½ΠΎ ΠΎΠ±ΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΠ΅ 70 ΠΏΠ°ΡΠΈΠ΅Π½ΡΠΎΠ² (ΡΡΠ΅Π΄Π½ΠΈΠΉ Π²ΠΎΠ·ΡΠ°ΡΡ 65+1,7 Π³ΠΎΠ΄Π°) Ρ Π°ΡΠ΅ΡΠΎΡΡΠΎΠΌΠ±ΠΎΡΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΠΌ ΠΏΠΎΠ΄ΡΠΈΠΏΠΎΠΌ ΠΏΠΎΠ»ΡΡΠ°ΡΠ½ΡΠΌ ΠΈΡΠ΅ΠΌΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΠΌ ΠΈΠ½ΡΡΠ»ΡΡΠΎΠΌ (ΠΠ’ΠΠ), ΡΠ°Π·Π΄Π΅Π»Π΅Π½Π½ΡΡ

Peculiarities of remodeling of hyalin cartilage at early stages of development of degenerative-distrophic processes of knee joints
The aim is to develop methods for detection of hyaline cartilage metabolic imbalance in patients with initial degenerative dystrophic changes in the substantiated pathogenetically knee. Material and Methods. Subject of inquiry: 50 women aged from 35 up to 57 (49.1 Β±2.4), among them 36 patients with an early stage of knee osteoarthrosis made up an experimental group, 14 women without any musculoskeletal disease clinical presentations made up a control group. We carried out a complex examination including physical assessment, study of orthopaedic status, interview with the use of KOOS (Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score) scale, roentgenography and MRI of the knee and also a number of laboratory tests: enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay determination of the content of cytokine profile indices (IL-1, TNF-a, IL-6), cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) and bone (SerumCrossLaps and bone isozyme of alkaline phosphatase (BAP)) tissue metabolism markers in blood serum in all the groups of patients. Results. In all the patients of the experimental group the roentgenologic stage of osteoarthrosis was defined as 0-1 according to J. Lawrence and J. Kellgren, but at the same time knee degenerative changes were objectivized on the series of MR images in the form of MR signal changes of the articular cartilage, erosions and cysts, degenerative meniscus. We observed increased serum cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) in the same group and that is characteristic of hyaline cartilage destruction activation. We also detect disorders in bone tissue remodeling in the form of bone resorption intensification (Serum CrossLaps), osteogenesis increase (BAP) and activation of proinflammatory cytokine system link (IL-1, TNF-a). Conclusion. The leading pathogenetic links of the early degenerative changes of the knee are hyperproduction of proinflammatory cytokines (IL-1, TNF-a), destruction of the hyaline cartilage and disorder in bone tissue remodeling. Assessment of biochemical predictors of cartilage and bone tissue degradation along with the instrumental methods of diagnosis is of great theoretical and practical importance in the system of early detection of incipient osteoarthrosis.</p
Polyaniline-modified cholinesterase sensor for pesticide determination
Cholinesterase sensors based on glassy carbon and planar epoxy graphite electrodes modified with processed polyaniline have been developed and examined for pesticide detection. The modification of electrode surface with polyaniline provides high operational stability and sensitivity towards the pesticides investigated. The detection limits found (coumaphos, 0.002, trichlorfon, 0.04, aldicarb, 0.03, methiocarb, 0.08 mg l-1) make it possible to detect the pollutants in the waters on the level of limited threshold levels without sample preconcentration.
