Pengaruh Model Inquiry Terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik SD
The problem in this research is the low of thematic learning result. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of positive and positive inquiry model on thematic learning outcomes. The result of the research explains that there is a significant and positive effect of inquiry model on the students learning outcomes thematic learning with the highest students posttest score of 87 and the lowest value is 43. The result of N-Gain calculation in the control class is 0.23 is included in the low classification. While the average value of N-Gain in the experimental class is 0.75 including the high category. N-Gain both classes there is difference of N-Gain difference of 0,52. Evidenced in the results of hypothesis testing there is a significant and positive effect of inquiry model on the learning outcomes of learners using the formula t-test sparated variance, with the result of tcount = 28.26 ttable = 2.042 (with α = 0.05).Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar tematik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif model inquiry terhadap hasil belajar tematik. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif model inquiry terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik dengan nilai posttest peserta didikyang tertinggi yaitu 87 dan nilai terendah yaitu 43. Hasil perhitungan N-Gain di kelas kontrol yaitu 0,23 termasuk dalam klasifikasi rendah. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain di kelas eksperimen 0,75 termasuk kategori tinggi. N-Gain kedua kelas terdapat perbedaan selisih N-Gain sebesar 0,52. Dibuktikan pada hasil pengujian hipotesis terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif model inquiry terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik menggunakan rumus t-test sparated varians, dengan hasil nilai thitung = 28,26 ttabel = 2,042 (dengan α = 0,05). MENINGKATKAN LITERASI DAN NUMERASI SISWA SD MELALUI PEMANFAATAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN DAUR ULANG
ABSTRAK Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran daur ulang. Literasi dan numerasi merupakan keterampilan dasar yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan akademik dan pribadi siswa. Namun, beberapa siswa SD mungkin menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami dan mengaplikasikan keterampilan ini.Kegiatan ini berlangsung di sekolah UPT SD Negeri 05 Sei Balai, Kec. Sei Balai, Kab. Batu Bara karena sebelumnya, pelaksana telah melakukan pengamatan dan merasa tertarik untuk menjalani pelaksanaan di sekolah dasar tersebut.Para siswadiajarkan cara menggunakan media pembelajaran daur ulang secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi. Media-media ini termasuk bahan-bahan daur ulang seperti buku-buku bekas, kertas daur ulang, dan bahan-bahan lain yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas dalam pembelajaran.Selama kegiatan, peserta diajak untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran kreatif yang berfokus pada literasi dan numerasi menggunakan media-media daur ulang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diukur melalui evaluasi hasil belajar siswa, termasuk tes literasi dan numerasi, serta observasi terhadap perkembangan kemampuan siswa.Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam literasi dan numerasi siswa SD yang terlibat. Mereka menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan menghitung, sambil juga mengembangkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya daur ulang dan pelestarian lingkungan.Kegiatan ini memberikan bukti bahwa pemanfaatan media pembelajaran daur ulang dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi siswa SD, sambil juga menggalakkan kesadaran lingkungan. Hasil kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap masyarakat sekolah dan menunjukkan potensi untuk diterapkan di berbagai sekolah lain sebagai upaya untuk memajukan pendidikan dasar. Literacy and numeracy are basic skills that are very important in students' academic and personal development. However, some elementary students may face difficulties in understanding and applying these skills. This activity took place at the UPT SD Negeri 05 Sei Balai school, Kec. Sei Balai, Kab. Batu Bara because previously, researchers had made observations and felt interested in carrying out research at this elementary school. Students are taught how to use recycled learning media effectively in the literacy and numeracy learning process. These media include recycled materials such as used books, recycled paper, and other materials that can be used to develop creativity in learning. During the activity, participants were invited to design and implement various creative learning activities that focused on literacy and numeracy using recycled media. The results of this activity are measured through evaluation of student learning outcomes, including literacy and numeracy tests, as well as observations of the development of student abilities. The results of this community service activity show a significant increase in the literacy and numeracy of the elementary students involved. They show improvements in reading, writing and numeracy skills, while also developing an understanding of the importance of recycling and environmental sustainability. This activity provides evidence that the use of recycled learning media can be an effective tool in increasing elementary school students' literacy and numeracy, while also promoting environmental awareness. The results of this activity provide a positive contribution to the school community and show the potential to be implemented in various other schools as an effort to advance basic education. Scientific Approach-Based Student Worksheet to Improve Elementary School Student's Scientific Process Skill
This research and development aim to produce student worksheets based on a valid, practical, and effective scientific approach to improve the science process skills of fifth-grade students in elementary schools. The development procedure adopted the Borg and Gall Model, which was simplified into seven steps. In the main field test phase, the research sample was 20 fifth-grade students at SDN 5 Kresnomulyo. This study uses a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data analysis used paired sample t-test to test the difference between the pretest and posttest. The results showed that student worksheets based on the scientific approach were declared valid with content validity values of 86.63 and construct validity of 85.63, practical as indicated by positive student responses, and effective as indicated by n-gain values paired sample t-test results. It can be concluded that the developed student worksheets are feasible to use and can improve students' science process skills
