Aszód–Papi földek késő neolitikus lelőhely: kapcsolat kelet és nyugat között = Aszód–Papi földek Late Neolithic site: Connection between East and West
AszĂłd–Papi földek a kĂ©sĹ‘ neolitikum eurĂłpai jelentĹ‘sĂ©gű lelĹ‘helye, ahol egy nagy kiterjedĂ©sű telepĂĽlĂ©s Ă©s hozzá tartozĂł 224 sĂr kerĂĽlt elĹ‘. A projekt eredmĂ©nyekĂ©nt 16 kutatĂł rĂ©szvĂ©telĂ©vel elkĂ©szĂĽlt a lelĹ‘hely monografikus feldolgozásának kĂ©zirata. A monográfia tartalmazza a teljes leletanyag, telepĂĽlĂ©si jelensĂ©gek Ă©s az összes temetkezĂ©s nemcsak rĂ©gĂ©szeti, hanem interdiszciplináris mĂłdszerekkel vĂ©gzett vizsgálatát. A leletanyag a Tisza- Ă©s a Lengyel-kultĂşra anyagi kultĂşrájának, szokásainak szimbiĂłzisát tĂĽkrözi. A sok közös vonás áthatja a telepĂĽlĂ©s Ă©s a temetkezĂ©sek közös helyĂ©t Ă©s rendjĂ©t, a mindennapi Ă©let legkĂĽlönfĂ©lĂ©bb tárgyait, behatol a temetkezĂ©si rĂtusba, a szellemi szfĂ©ra Ă©s az anyagi kultĂşra csaknem minden rĂ©szletĂ©be. A pályázati támogatásbĂłl elsĹ‘sorban termĂ©szettudományos vizsgálatokat vĂ©geztĂĽnk: 1. a kerámia petrográfiai vizsgálata bebizonyĂtotta, hogy a tiszai stĂlusĂş edĂ©nyek helyben kĂ©szĂĽltek, 2. a Spondylus Ă©kszerek stabilizotĂłp-geokĂ©miai vizsgálatai alapján az Adriai- Ă©s az Égei-tengerbĹ‘l származhattak, 3. a lelĹ‘hely környezetĂ©nek rekonstruálása feltárta az egykori környezet mozaikosságát Ă©s az emberi megtelepedĂ©s környezetre gyakorolt hatását, 4. az Ăşj AMS radiokarbon mĂ©rĂ©sek alapján a lelĹ‘hely sokkal pontosabban, Kr.e. 4760-4670 közĂ© keltezhetĹ‘, 5. az archaeozoolĂłgiai elemzĂ©s a vadászat jelentĹ‘sĂ©gĂ©re mutatott rá. Ezek mellett elkĂ©szĂĽlt a csonteszközök feldolgozása Ă©s a temetkezĂ©sek társadalomrĂ©gĂ©szeti elemzĂ©se. A kutatás eredmĂ©nyeit rendszeresen publikáltuk. | AszĂłd-Papi földek, where an extensive Late Neolithic settlement and 224 graves were found, is one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe. As a result of this research project the manuscript of the site’s monographic publication has been prepared by 16 authors. This manuscript contains not only the archaeological but interdisciplinary analysis of the whole find material, settlement features and all burials. The finds represent the mixture of the Tisza and Lengyel cultures. Several common traits could be found in the common place and features of settlement and burials, in the everyday life, in almost every part of the material culture and the cognitive sphere. The financial support were primary used for interdisciplinary analyses: 1. the petrographic analysis of the pottery revealed that Tisza style vessels were local products, 2. stabile isotope geochemical analyses of Spondylus finds proved that the origin of their raw material could be both the Adriatic and the Aegean, 3. the paleoenvironmental analyses could reconstruct a mosaic natural environment around the site and found the traces of human impact on the environment, 4. new series of AMS radiocarbon data could much more precisely date the site between 4760 (68.2%) 4670 cal BC, 5. archaeozzological analysis showed the importance of hunting. Complete study of bone tools and social archaeological analysis of burials were also prepared. The results of the research project were regularly published
Vörs-Máriaasszonysziget őskori lelőhely interdiszciplináris feldolgozása = Vörs-Máriaasszonysziget - an interdisciplinary study of the prehistoric site
Az OTKA T-046297 program a Vörs-Máriaasszonysziget, többperiĂłdusĂş lelĹ‘hely Ĺ‘skori anyagának rĂ©gĂ©szeti, tĂ©rinformatikai Ă©s termĂ©szettudományos feldolgozását vĂ©gezte el. KiemelkedĹ‘ jelentĹ‘sĂ©gű a koraneolitikus leletanyag (StarÄŤevo kultĂşra). A terĂĽleten további 7 rĂ©gĂ©szeti korszak emlĂ©kanyaga is elĹ‘kerĂĽlt. ElkĂ©szĂĽlt a lelĹ‘hely rĂ©gĂ©szeti, környezetrĂ©gĂ©szeti Ă©s archeometriai feldolgozása. Az adatokat tĂ©rinformatikai alapĂş rendszerbe rögzĂtettĂĽk. A kerámia leletekrĹ‘l rajzok Ă©s fotĂłk kĂ©szĂĽltek, összesen 230 db A3 fotomontázs táblán elhelyezve. Dokumentáltuk a kĂ©szĂtĂ©stechnikát, kĂsĂ©rletekkel alátámasztva. A kerámia anyagon rĂ©szletes petroarcheolĂłgiai vizsgálatok kĂ©szĂĽltek. További petroarcheolĂłgiai vizsgálatok kĂ©szĂĽltek a paticsokon Ă©s a kĹ‘anyagon. ElkĂ©szĂĽlt a lelĹ‘hely környezet-rĂ©gĂ©szeti feldolgozása. A lelĹ‘hely objektumaibĂłl 77 zsák mintát iszapoltunk le (1389 l). A lelĹ‘helyen Ă©s környezetĂ©ben talajtani/palinolĂłgiai sekĂ©ly fĂşrásokat mĂ©lyĂtettĂĽnk (összesen 17 fĂşrás). A mintákon palinolĂłgiai, szedimentolĂłgiai, mikro- Ă©s makrobotanikai, malakolĂłgiai Ă©s archeozoolĂłgiai vizsgálatok kĂ©szĂĽltek. A lelĹ‘helyrĹ‘l kĂ©t neolit korĂş temetkezĂ©s kerĂĽlt elĹ‘, a csontvázakon antropolĂłgiai, DNA Ă©s C-14 vizsgálatok kĂ©szĂĽltek. További, összesen 12 C-14 vizsgálat kĂ©szĂĽlt a lelĹ‘hely zárt objektumaibĂłl származĂł állatcsont Ă©s faszĂ©n maradványokon. A beĂ©rkezett jelentĂ©seket (összesen 15 jelentĂ©s) monografikus formában, angol nyelven, a dokumentáciĂłs anyagot DVD-n jelentetjĂĽk meg, várhatĂłan 2009-ben | The OTKA T-046297 program has accomplished the archaeological and natural scientific elaboration of the prehistoric material from Vörs-Máriaasszonysziget multi-period site. Outstanding part of the material is the legacy of the Early Neolithic StarÄŤevo culture. Apart from the Early Neolithic, remains of 7 archaeological cultures have been documented. Archaeological, environmental archaeological and archaeometrical investigation of the site was accomplished. Data were registered in a GIS system. The pottery was consered and presented on drawings and photos. Altogether 230 A3 size photo-montage plates were compiled. Production techniques were also investigated supported by experimental archaeology approach. Detailed petroarcheological research was performed on the pottery, daub and the lithic finds. Environmental archaeological study of the site was made on 77 sacks of silted soil samples (1389 l) and 17 shallow (hand) boreholes for sedimentological and palinological analysis. Palinological, sedimentological, micro- and macrobotanical, malacological and archaeozoological investigations were carried out. Two Neolithic burials were found on the site, the skeletons were submitted to anthropological, DNA and C-14 studies. Further 12 C-14 studies were made on bone and charcoal samples of the closed features. We are planning to publish results in English in monographic form with a DVD attached on the documentation and illustrations, probably in 2009
Neolitikus kultúrák kapcsolatrendszere kerámia vizsgálaton keresztül = Understanding the relationship between Neolithic communities through ceramic analysis
A pályázat keretĂ©ben összesen 13 lelĹ‘helyrĹ‘l vizsgáltuk StarÄŤevo, Körös, VinÄŤa, AVK, DVK, Zseliz Ă©s Lengyel kultĂşrák kerámiatechnolĂłgiáit. A vizsgálatok során összesen 598 db vĂ©konycsiszolatot kĂ©szĂtettĂĽnk. A vizsgálatok segĂtsĂ©gĂ©vel megismerhettĂĽk a neolitikus kerámiakĂ©szĂtĂ©si hagyományokban bekövetkezett változásokat. A kĂ©sĹ‘ neolitikumban szintĂ©n megfigyelhetĹ‘ a közĂ©psĹ‘ neolitikumban emlĂtett változatosság, azonban megjelenik a kerámiakĂ©szĂtĂ©s standardizáciĂłja Ă©s specializáciĂłja. | In the project Neolithic ceramic technologies were examined from 13 sites of the StarÄŤevo, Körös, VinÄŤa, AVK, DVK, Zseliz and Lengyel cultures. Altogether 598 ceramic thin sections were analysed. By the means of ceramic petrographic analysis we gained knowledge in the changes of Neolithic ceramic traditions. The results show that the Körös, Early TLP, StarÄŤevo, ALP and VinÄŤa cultures show fundamental ceramic technological similarities. In these sites the majority of ceramics were made from fundamentally similar (very fine grained) raw materials, which were tempered with organic matter (chaff?). The ceramic technological similarities are compared to ceramic technological data from the Carpathian Basin and the Balkans and show that ceramic technological tradition was similar in a wide geographical area. The similarity is most striking in the use of organic tempering. Towards the Middle and Late Neolithic (TLP, Lengyel culture) considerable technological variability is observed. Variability in technological practices may indicate the former presence of several potters or potters groups, and resulted in the formation of intrasite technological traditions. Towards the younger Neolithic the amount of organic tempering decreases and by the Late Neolithic it almost completely disappeared. In the Late Neolithic the ceramic technological variability, which is observed in the Middle Neolithic is also present but standardisation and specialisation appears
