Examine User Adoption of Mobile Payment Using the TAM: A Trust Transfer Perspective
Success in online services cannot promise the success in corresponding mobile services. To understand the mobile service adoption behavior under the context of online service transition, this study, taking mobile payment as an example, from a trust transfer perspective, examines users’ acceptance of mobile payment using the TAM (Technology acceptance model). A field survey with 220 mobile payment student users is conducted to test the research model and hypotheses. The key findings include: trust of online payment and structural assurance play the crucial role in the initial trust of mobile payments; perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness positively influent trust in mobile payment. Limitations, theoretical and practical implications are also discussed
obrigatoriedade, a democratização, a laicidade e a gratuitidade.
Pretendo explorar a forma
como a educação bilingue de Angola tem vindo a ser conduzida e qual o seu impacto
na educação, política e linguagem de um país multilingue e multicultural. This work mainly focuses on bilingual education in Angola, which is going through
an important moment of change, since, in recent years, the country has undergone a
major reform of its educational system. With this reform, it sought to join the execution
of different principles like, integrity, compulsion, democratization, secularism and
gratuitousness.
Nowadays, under the wave of globalization, the economic and cultural exchanges
between countries are more extensive and frequent, so the need to learn foreign
languages or learn a second one has become urgent and important. At the same time,
there has been a new form of education through bilingual education. To better promote
the implementation of this education policy or language policy, bilingual education has
become a topic of worldwide and academic research, with several countries conducting
a series of research and related discussions.
As an apprentice of Portuguese, I have a strong interest in bilingual education at the
Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), that is, bilingual education in
countries that have the Portuguese language as their mother tongue and as a non-mother
tongue. Considering my experience of working in Angola for five years, I decided to
analyze the development of bilingual education, considering Angola as an example of
a country on the west coast of Africa. With this work, I hope to have some references
for future research in the field of bilingual education in other Portuguese-speaking
countries.
This study analyzes and summarizes the literature related to the theme and analyzes
the development of bilingual education in other countries. However, it is based on the
unique historical context of Angola, with linguistic policies in different historical
periods and educational reforms in the postcolonial era, which were articulated with the
development of the national languages. I intend to explore how Angola's bilingual
education has been conducted and its impact on a multilingual and multicultural
country's education, politics and language
A study on iron ore transportation model with penalty value of transportation equipment waiting
As some steel enterprises are at a disadvantage in the choice of the mode of transportation, this paper made further studies of the characteristics of the iron ore logistics, taking comprehensive consideration of optimizing the waiting time under the conditions with limited loading capacity and setting up a procedural model of the iron ore logistics system with minimum cost of transportation, storage, loading, unloading, and transportation equipment waiting. Finally, taking the iron ore transport system of one steel enterprise as example, the solution and the validity of the model were analyzed and verified in this paper
Branding proposal for Blossomz : a case study of brand building and brand management
This paper is a branding proposal for a local apparel retailer, Blossomz. It begins with the theoretical framework of branding concepts and methodologies and then goes into research done on Blossomz’s potential customers, competitors and the company itself. Based on the research done, we identify the internal and external issues that Blossomz is facing and these are what our branding proposal aims to solve.Bachelor of Communication Studie
Application of GelGreen™ in Cesium Chloride Density Gradients for DNA-Stable Isotope Probing Experiments.
In this study, GelGreen™ was investigated as a replacement for SYBR® Safe to stain DNA in cesium chloride (CsCl) density gradients for DNA-stable isotope probing (SIP) experiments. Using environmental DNA, the usage of GelGreen™ was optimized for sensitivity compared to SYBR® Safe, its optimal concentration, detection limit for environmental DNA and its application in environmental DNA-SIP assay. Results showed that GelGreen™ was more sensitive than SYBR® Safe, while the optimal dosage (15X concentration) needed was approximately one-third of SYBR® Safe, suggesting that its sensitivity was three times more superior than SYBR® Safe. At these optimal parameters, the detection limit of GelGreen™-stained environmental DNA was as low as 0.2 μg, but the usage of 0.5 μg environmental DNA was recommended to produce a more consistent DNA band. In addition, a modified needle extraction procedure was developed to withdraw DNA effectively by fractionating CsCl density gradients into four or five fractions. The successful application of GelGreen™ staining with 13C-labeled DNA from enriched activated sludge suggests that this stain was an excellent alternative of SYBR® Safe in CsCl density gradients for DNA-SIP assays
Research on Green View Index of Urban Roads Based on Street View Image Recognition: A Case Study of Changsha Downtown Areas
In this paper, we took the urban roads in the Changsha downtown areas as an example to identify the green view index (GVI) of urban roads based on street view images (SVIs). First, the road network information was obtained through OpenStreetMap, and the coordinate information of sampling points was processed using ArcGIS. Secondly, the SVIs were downloaded from Baidu Map according to the latitude and longitude coordinates of the sampling points. Moreover, semantic segmentation neural network software was used to semantically segment the SVIs for recognizing the objects in each part of the images. Finally, the objects related to green vegetation were statistically analyzed to obtain the GVI of the sampling points. The GVI was mapped to the map in ArcGIS software for data visualization and analysis. The results showed the average GVI of the study area was 12.56%. An amount of 27% have very poor green perception, 40% have poor green perception, 19% have general green perception, 10% have strong green perception, and 4% have very strong green perception. In the administrative districts, the highest GVI is Yuhua District with 14.15%, while the lowest is Kaifu District with 8.75%. The average GVI of the new urban area is higher than that of the old urban area, as the old urban area has higher building density and a lower greenery level. This paper systematically evaluated the levels of GVI and greening status of urban streets within the Changsha downtown areas through SVIs data analysis, and provided guidance and suggestions for the greening development of Changsha City
