    The Effectiveness Of Guided Inquiry Learning Model Using The Virtual Laboratory On Acid-Base Materials To Improve Science Process Skills

    Abstract: This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning model using a virtual laboratory on acid-base materials to improve science process skills . This research is a quasi-experimental research with the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI natural science at senior high school 9 Bandar Lampung in the 2021/2022 academic years. The samples of this research were students of class XI natural science 6 and XI natural science 7 which were taken by purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was in the form of pretest and posttest questions to measure students' science process skills  and student learning activity observation sheets. Hypothesis testing in this study uses the similarity test of two averages and the two-average difference test uses the Independent Samples t-Test. The results showed that the average posttest value of the experimental class was higher than the control class and that the experimental class had an average n-gain in the "high" category. Furthermore, the results of the Independent Samples t-Test using SPSS 25.0 showed that there was a significant difference in the post-test mean between the experimental class and the control class.     PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DAN PERMASALAHAN PEMBELAJARANNYA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA SMP DI KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG

    Pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik seharusnya digunakan dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013 di sekolah dasar dan menengah di seluruh Indonesia. Karakteristik pembelajaran ini merupakan kunci untuk menghasilkan siswa yang kreatif dan inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implemantasi pendekatan saintifik dan permasalahannya dalam pembelajaran IPA SMP di Kota Bandar Lampung. Penelitian dengan metode Cross-Sectional Survey telah dilaksanakan. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa SMP Negeri dan Swasta di Kota Bandar Lampung yang telah menggunakan kurikulum 2013 dalam pembelajaran IPA. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif melalui reduksi data, klasifikasi dan penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru-guru IPA SMP di Kota Bandar Lampung tentang pembelajaran saintifik tidak sesuai dengan konsep pendekatan ilmiah. Hanya 48% guruà yang telah memahami tentang pendekatan saintifik dengan baik, meskipun telah menggunakan kurikulum 2013 dalam pembelajarannya. Implementasi pembelajaran saintifik oleh guru tidak berjalan dengan baik. Hanya 4% guru yang menggunakan kegiatan 5 M (mengamati, menanya, menggali informasi/mencoba, mengasosiasi/menalar, dan mengomunikasikan) secara lengkap dan runtut. Sementara, 42% guru tidak dapat mengorganisasikan kegiatan 5 M dengan urutan yang logis dan 54% guru tidak menggunakan kegiatan 5 M. Penilaian pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh sebagian besar guru tidak sesuai dengan karakteristik pendekatan saintifik karena didominasi oleh penilaian kognitif. Temuan ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan referensi bagi lembaga-lembaga pendidikan berkaitan dengan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran IPA di SMP. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut disarankan kepada sekolah agar dapat memfasilitasi guru untuk kegiatan lesson study yang dilaksanakan secara rutin dan berkesinambungan.à àKata kunci: pembelajaran IPA SMP,à pendekatan saintifik, kurikulum 2013

    This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning model using the Virtual Laboratory on acid-base material in improving students analyzing skills. The population in this study were all students of class XI science at SMA Negeri 9 Bandar Lampung for the academic year 2021/2022 with a sample of class XI IPA 7 as the experimental class and XI IPA 6 as the control class. This research method is quasi-experimental with the Matching-only pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling was carried out using purposive samplingtechnique. Hypothesis testing used a difference test of two averages (t-test) on the posttest value of the experimental class and the control class. The results showed that the average posttest value of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class and that the experimental class had a high average  n-Gain category. Furthermore, the results of the average difference test using the t-test showed that there was a significant average difference between the experimental class and the control class.     Abstract:Problem Solving Model to Improve Problem Solving Skills in Electrolyte and Non Electrolyte Solution. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of problem solving learning models in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials to improve problem solving skills. The research method used was a quasi-experimental method with the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study were all students of class X IPA SMA AL-Azhar 3 Bandarlampung in the 2019/2020 academic year. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling technique, so that the students of class X IPA 4 as the experimental class and class X IPA 3 students as the control class were determined. The data analysis technique used is the difference test of the two means. The results showed the n-gain of problem solving skills in the experimental class was 0.57 which was categorized as moderate; There is a significant difference in the average post-test score between the experimental class and the control class. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the problem solving learning model in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material is effective for improving problem solving skills.Keywords: Model, Problem Solving Problem Solving Skills, Electrolyte and Solutions Non-Electrolyt

    e-Book Development on Chemical Equilibrium Material for Online Learning during Covid-19 Pandemic

    Education in Indonesia has changed from offline learning to online learning because of the corona virus. The corona virus has been endemic in Indonesia since early March 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed various aspects of human life, including in the field of education. This condition causes all elements of education to utilize ICT for use in the learning process. One of the uses of ICT can be applied to the development of learning resources. The learning process during the pandemic requires learning resources that are interesting, fun, and in accordance with the applicable curriculum. This research is a type of development research that aims to describe the validity, teacher responses, and student responses to e-books on chemical equilibrium material for online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is the Research and Development (RD) method. E-book developed using book creator application. Based on the results of expert validation of the developed e-book, an average percentage of 76.29% was obtained with high criteria in the aspect of content suitability. In the construction aspect of 82.95%, readability of 82.22%, and attractiveness of 83.8%, all three have very high criteria. The results of the teacher's response to the suitability aspect of the material content are 86.67%, readability is 85.6%, and attractiveness is 86.8%, all three have very high criteria. The results of students' responses to the readability aspect were 84.5% and attractiveness was 83.9%, both of which had very high criteria. From the research results it can be stated that the e-book developed is valid

    Pengembangan Lks Dengan Pendekatan Scientific Pada Materi Kelarutan Dan Hasil Kali Kelarutan

    This research purpose is to develop student worksheet with scientific approach on solubility and constant solubility product material. The research methods used Research and Development methods. Â From the teacher assessment and students response over student worksheet that has been developed, it is obtained the percentage of teacher assesment on the aspects of suitability of content, readability, and attractiveness are 90,90%; 92%; and 87,14%. The results of students responses to the readability and attractiveness are also very high, with the percentage until 87,87% and 86,42%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS dengan pendekatan scientific pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan. Dari hasil penilaian guru dan tanggapan siswa terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan, diperoleh persentase penilaian guru terhadap aspek kesesuaian isi, keterbacaan, dan kemenarikan sebesar 90,90%; 92%; dan 87,14%. Hasil tanggapan siswa terhadap keterbacaan dan kemenarikanjuga sangat tinggi yaitu dengan persentase 87,87% dan 86,42%

    Development Module of Acid Base Based on Multiple Representations

    Chemistry is one of knowledges that learn abstract phenomena and difficult to understand by students generally and chemical learning at this momen only in makroscopic and symbolic dimension, whereas submicroscopic often deserted. The research aim to develop module of multiple representation based on the acid base material.Method used on this research is research and development (R & D) according to Sukmadinata (2009). But on this research, step only arrive to step of main product revision. Research and development on this research have three steps. There are step 1st) needs analysis that consist of literature study and field study, step 2nd ) planning and development that consist of planning preliminary product, develop preliminary product,validation, and preliminary product revision, step 3th) preliminary field test, and main product revision.Results of this research is development module of acid-base based on multiple representations  which have characteristic: 1) module refers to the SK and KD, 2) material packaged in units of learning activities, modules arranged in a systematic and attractive, giving rise to interest in reading to students, 3) the material presented in the modules developed chemical, described by multiple representations, 4) accompanied by examples and illustrations that support the material, 5) the language used is simple and communicative, 6) have level of contents suitability is very high that is 82 % and have level of aspects graph 86,35 % according to teacher, also have high level of legibilityt is high that is 79,26% according students
