Three new species and three new subspecies are described: Carabus(Semnocarabus)rustemi sp. n. from the southeastern part of the Dzhungarskyi Alatau Mountain system and middle course of the Ili River (SE Kazakhstan); C. (Eotribax) valikhanovi bagua ssp. n. from the Karaterek Valley on the western part of the Narat Mt. R. (Xinjiang, China); C. R. in Northern Tien Shan (SE Kazakhstan). New synonymy is proposed: Carabus (Alipaster) thianshanskii thianshanskii Breuning, 1932 = C. thianshanskii shatyensis Deuve et Tian, 2004, syn. n., the redescription of this taxon is given

Two new taxa of carabid beetles are described from the Xinjiang-Uygur autonomous region of China. Carabus (Ophiocarabus) ernsti ulastaiensis subsp.  n. is described from the southern slopes of the Boro-Horo Mt.  Range, NNE of Ulastai Village, the central part of the species range. This new subspecies differs from the nominotypical one by the larger body size (on average, 18.2 mm vs 16.4 mm in nominotypical subspecies), wider flattened lateral sides of pronotum, longer elytra with less rounded margins, and the structure of the male genitalia (median lobe of aedeagus with more evenly curved ventral margin and less massive apical lamella, endophallus with another shaped lobes). The new subspecies occurs in meadows in the forests and alpine zone; collected at 1765–3280 m. Carabus (Alipaster) semenoviellus tokkuztaraensis subsp. n. is described from central part of the Narat Mt. Range (the eastern part of the species range). This taxon differs from nominotypical in having: the frons distinctly punctured in middle; pronotum with dense punctuation on disc, less markedly rounded lateral margins and maximum width located closer to the anterior margin; apical lamella of the aedeagus shorter and distinctly bent ventrally in lateral view. The subspecies inhabits Picea forests at 1660–2600 m. The subspecific rank of C. (Ophiocarabus) ernsti ssp. nilkiensis Kabak, 2014, stat. n. is established, because of C. ernsti ssp. ulastaiensis subsp. n. demonstrates some transitional characters between C. ernsti ssp. nilkiensis and the nominotypical subspecie

The intraspecific structure of Carabus (Morphocarabus) brinevi Kabak, 2014 from Chinese part of the Mongolian Altai Mountain Range is discussed. A new subspecies is described – C. brinevi kanasensis subsp. n. from left bank of Kanas Lake (Xinjiang-Uygur Autonomous Region of China). The new subspecies differs from the nominotypical one in the larger body size, widely depressed lateral sides of pronotum, presence of supplimentary lateral setae of the latter, dark colouration of tibiae, as well as in the convex distally right lateral wall of the aedeagal tube, and in the endophallus structure. The subspecific rank of Carabus (Morphocarabus) brinevi subsp. altaicola Deuve et Tian, 2019, stat. n. is establishe

Two new species of carabid beetles are described from Xinjiang-Uygur Autonomous Region of China: Leistus (Pogonophorus) kazenasi sp.  n. from the Dunsala Valley on the Khalyktau Mt. Range and the Kokterek Valley on the Narat Mt. Range, similar to L.  spinangulus Reitter, 1913 and L.  mitjaevi Kabak, 2008 but differs by larger body size, the shape of the pronotum and elytra, and the conformation of the humeral teeth; and Carabus (Ophiocarabus) wusunshanicus sp.  n. from the southern slopes of the Wusunshan Mt. Range, related to C.  (O.)  regeli A.  Morawitz, 1886 but differs by the numerous primary foveae on the elytra and the structure of the endophallus. One new species, Microdaccus sugonjaevi sp. n., is described from Afghanistan (Baghlan), it is similar to M.  glasunovi Emetz, 1979 but differs in having larger and narrower body, dark spot on the elytra, longer mandibles and appendages, another shape of pronotum etc. Leistus (Pogonophorus) spinangulus Reitter, 1913 from Xinjiang is redescribed based of newly collected material, the exact data on the distribution and bionomics of this poorly known species are provided for the first time
