The antenna elements have been consuming more power and inoperative area with high operational frequency. Therefore, an advanced antenna element design is necessary to cross over the above faults. In this research work, the CPW-Fed microstrip patch antenna is designed using EHF range for millimeter-wave applications. CPW-fed and combinations of DGS-CPW-fed microstrip patch antennas are novel methods, these designs are enhancing many characteristics of microwave circuits, such as narrow bandwidth, cross-polarization, low gain, etc. The researchers are facing many issues in this research area, therefore Fed-CPW design has been taken as a challenging issue. Investigators are working on wideband antennas, as well as patch antennas that can be used for both single- and dual-band applications. In addition to multiband applications, DGS, CPW-Fed Slot antennas are loaded with filters, these enhancements are providing waveguides and amplification tuning. The proposed research deals with a CPW-Fed Microstrip Patch satellite antenna, which is specially modeled to operate at various high-frequency values as well as Extremely High Frequency (EHF) range. A T-Shaped Microstrip patch antenna, which is dimensioned at 11.4x2.5x1.6 mm3 has been placed on Rogers R04003 substrate. The proposed antenna has CPW-Fed with ground dimensions which are considered as 5.9mm*8mm & feed dimensions as 3.8mm*9mm. Due to CPW-feed, the proposed antenna has achieved huge bandwidth i.e 13GHz. Hence the proposed antenna design is compact and suitable at higher frequencies. Simulation results approve that it is a good antenna model. The performance measures like return loss, gain, and VSWR has been improved compared to earlier models. Moreover, this CPW-fed microstrip patch antenna approach is most useful for 5G applications and simulation results are outperforms with designed frameworks. The proposed antenna resonates from 24GHz to 37.6GHz, with good impedance matching at |S11|<=-10dB. The obtained VSWR is in the range of 1 and 2. The gain at resonant frequencies is ranged from 4 to 6 dB. The proposed antenna is useful to deploy in 5G applications as it is resonating in millimeter-wave frequencies. The following model is very useful for 5G applications and provides resonant frequencies 4 to 6 dB. The impedance matching is also improved by 15% compared to earlier models. The following experiment is designed on the HFSS software tool and CPW-Fed functionality is verified

A simple, specific and precise reverse phase high performance liquid chromatographic method was developed and validated for simultaneous estimation of Lamivudine and Tenofovir disproxil fumarate in tablets. Quantification was achieved by using a reverse-phase C18 column (Inertsil ODS 3V, 250 mm x 4.6 mm; 5) at 31 o C. The mobile phase consisted of a mixture of phosphate buffer and acetonitrile in the ratio of 55:45 v/v at a flow rate of 1.2 mL/min. The retention times of Lamivudine and Tenofovir disproxil fumarate were found to be 2.430 min and 4.550 min respectively. The developed method was validated as per ICH Guidelines for linearity, accuracy, precision, detection limit, quantification limit, ruggedness, robustness, specificity and system suitability. The percentage recoveries for both of the drugs from their tablets were found to be 98.48 % and 98.64 % respectively. The method may successfully be employed for the simultaneous determination of Lamivudine and Tenofovir disproxil fumarate in pharmaceutical tablet dosage forms

AbstractThe IMPROVE™ study was a 26-week, multinational, open-label, non-randomized study, carried out in 11 countries.AimTo evaluate the safety and efficacy of biphasic insulin aspart 30 (BIAsp 30) in patients with type 2 diabetes under routine clinical practice.Study designThere were no prescribed procedures for this study except for the collection of data.ResultData obtained at baseline and Week 26 in patients from the Gulf region is presented. From the Gulf region, 1613 patients (61% males) were enrolled with a mean age of 50.5years and a mean BMI of 30.4kg/m2. The majority of the patients (57.0%) were treated with OAD only, while 34.3% patients were previously treated with insulin ±OAD and 8.7% were treatment naive. After 26weeks of treatment, the mean HbA1c was reduced by 1.4% from 9.3% at baseline to 7.9% at Week 26. The mean FBG was reduced by 66.6mg/dL from 212.4mg/dL at baseline to 145.8mg/dL at Week 26. No major hypoglycaemic episodes were reported as SADRs during the study. The rate of major hypoglycaemic episodes was reduced from 0.13 episodes/patient year at baseline to 0.05 episodes/patient year at Week 26. A lower risk of minor hypoglycaemia was also observed. Body weight was reduced by 0.6kg from 85.4kg at baseline to 84.7kg at Week 26.ConclusionBIAsp 30 improved glycaemic control without increasing the risk of hypoglycaemic episodes and weight gain after 26weeks’ treatment in patients with type 2 diabetes from the Gulf region

Searching for Z′Z' bosons decaying to gluons

The production and decay of a new heavy vector boson, a chromophilic Z′Z' vector boson, is described. The chromophilic Z′Z' couples only to two gluons, but its two-body decays are absent, leading to a dominant decay mode of Z′→qqˉgZ'\rightarrow q\bar{q}g. The unusual nature of the interaction predicts a cross-section which grows with mZ′m_{Z'} for a fixed coupling and an accompanying gluon with a coupling that rises with its energy. We study the ttˉgt\bar{t}g decay mode, proposing distinct reconstruction techniques for the observation of an excess and for the measurement of mZ′m_{Z'}. We estimate the sensitivity of current experimental datasets.Comment: For submission to PR

Facile one-pot synthesis of CuO nanospheres: Sensitive electrochemical determination of hydrazine in water effluents

Hydrazine (HZ) is massively used in several industrial applications. Adsorption of HZ through human skin creates carcinogenicity by disturbing the human organ system and thus, the quantification of HZ levels in environmental water samples is highly needed. The present work describes the short-term development of copper oxide nanospheres (CuO NS) by one-step wet chemical approach and their implementation on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) for the sensitive and selective quantification of the environmentally hazardous HZ. The CuO NS formation was identified by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and UV-visible spectroscopy. SEM images exhibited the uniform CuO NS with an average size of 85 nm. The linker-free CuO NS modified GCE offered high electrocatalytic activity against HZ determination by showing the linear range determination in the range of 0.5 to 500 µM, with the detection limit of 63 nM (S/N=3), and sensitivity of 894.28 µA mM-1 cm-2. Further, the developed HZ sensor displayed excellent repeatability and reproducibility and was successfully exploited for the determination of HZ in real environmental samples, implying that GCE/CuO-NS is a confident and low-cost electrochemical platform for HZ determination

    Tuberculose uro-génitale : A propos de 95 cas

    Get PDF
