Some Characterizations of a Normal Subgroup of a Group
Let G be a group and H be a subgroup of G which is either finite or of finite
index in G. In this note, we give some characterizations for normality of H in
G. As a consequence we get a very short and elementary proof of the Main
Theorem of [5], which avoids the use of the classification of finite simple
group
Chemistry of Metal Dinitroanthranilates Part I
Copper and silver dinitroanthranilates have been prepared and the stoichiometry of the complexes have been determined by micro analysis, conductometric and potentiometric studies. The IR studies show the presence of -H/Sub2N M bond, where M is silver or copper. Various explosive properties such as explosion delay, explosion temperature and activation energy, explosion pressure, impact sensitivity, friction sensitivity and ballistic mortar power of the these dinitronthranilates have also been studied
Extractive Separation of Rhenium by Complexation with Hexamine
88-90Rhenium(VII) has been separated from molybdenum(VI) and other metal ions by complexation with hexamine in hydrochloric acid solution in the presence of a reductant, extracting the complex thus formed into tribenzylamine-chloroform. The method is free from the interference from Mo(VI), W(VI), U(VI), Cr(III, VI), V(V), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Mn(II) and Pd(II)
Histopathological analysis of liver in Puntius ticto exposed to water soluble fraction (WSF) of petrol
The fresh water fish Puntius ticto were exposed to lethal concentration of water soluble fraction (WSF) of petrol (5%-PF1, 10%-PF2, 15%-PF3, 20%-PF4 and 25%-PF5) for 96 hours. The exposure of WSF produced some conspicuous histopathological changes in liver. The swelling of hepatocytes, degeneration, necrosis, hemolysis, dilation, congestion and fibrosis in blood sinusoids were the prominent changes observed. The histological analysis showed increasing damages dose-dependents and time-dependents
