The environment effect on operation of in-vessel mirrors for plasma diagnostics in fusion devices
First mirrors will be the plasma facing components of optical diagnostic
systems in ITER. Mirror surfaces will undergo modification caused by erosion
and re-deposition processes [1,2]. As a consequence, the mirror performance may
be changed and may deteriorate [3,4]. In the divertor region it may also be
obscured by deposition [5-7]. The limited access to in-vessel components of
ITER calls for testing the mirror materials in present day devices in order to
gather information on the material damage and degradation of the mirror
performance, i.e. reflectivity. A dedicated experimental programme, First
Mirror Test (FMT), has been initiated at the JET tokamak within the framework

Experimental station with continuous electron beam for investigation of various mechanisms of EM radiation generation
In this report we describe a new facility designed, manufactured and commissioned at Belgorod National Research University. It is a compact and cost-efficient low energy continuous electron beam installation developed to underpin research and education foundation of the University group. We present the measurements of the beam size, emittance, position and trajectory. A THz detection beam line has also been constructed and tested. The status of the THz radiation generation programme, future upgrades and experimental plans have been describe

System approach to estimation of soils
Authors offer the system approach to an estimation of the soils with consideration at different hierarchical level value of soils, fields, farms depending on the purposes of their use and level of intensification of manufacture. Value of the soils is estimated on their bioproductivity, the income on 1 rouble of expenses, expenses for achievement of models of fertility of soils, an optimal condition of fields. The expediency of calculation of value of the soils taking into account weight of influence of the factors defining the price and degrees of their optimality for given soil-climatic and economic conditions is shown
