    The effect of aquaculture effluents on water quality parameters of Haraz River

    In this study, a water quality model of Haraz basin was used as an evaluative tool to estimate the spatial distribution of variables that are related to water quality and nutrient loads of the Haraz River. Previous studies performed in this river indicate that trout culture activity along the Haraz River have led to various changes in the water quality parameters. In the present work, the possible effects of two additional fish farms with a production capacity of 50 tons, located on the Haraz within 1 km distance from each other were evaluated in terms of their effects on the streams water quality. A water quality model was developed in order to investigate the spatial distribution of water quality variables.     The role of architecture of diplomacy in development of "smart interactions" explaining the “communicative action” among the embassies of the United States

    Diplomacy is the most important character of the foreign policy. Embassy buildings also have a unique situation, as nations’ physical embodiments abroad and a dimension of foreign policy. These buildings represent "a body of relations between countries". This study focused on the variables in the communicative action of the embassies; and with a qualitative study, communicative action among the embassies of the United States has been analyzed. The results demonstrate that; "the Agents of Diplomacy" as the mastermind of national power, "consciously" can gain the architecture of diplomacy, in order to provide national goals. This is an active and effective participation between "Deputies of Diplomacy, Architects, and Builders (international contractors)". Also the "Smart Interaction", is a "Rational Action", based on "Generalizable Interests" among Actors, with taking advantage of the "Generative Rules", and optimal use of "Language".Keywords: Diplomacy, Embassy, Medium, Smart Interactio

    We compute the shear viscosity in the supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory dual to the STU background. This is a thermal gauge theory with a chemical potential. The PEIS results were analysed using a phenomenological approach since the mechanism of the oxygen evolution reaction is not known a priori. The results indicate that the photocurrent onset potential is strongly affected by Fermi level pinning since the rate constant for surface recombination is almost constant in this potential region. The phenomenological rate constant for electron transfer was found to increase with potential, suggesting that the potential drop in the Helmholtz layer influences the activation energy for the oxygen evolution process. The PEIS analysis also shows that the limiting factor determining the performance of the α-Fe2O3 photoanode is electron–hole recombination in the bulk of the oxide

    Anomaly/Transport in an Ideal Weyl gas

    We study some of the transport processes which are specific to an ideal gas of relativistic Weyl fermions and relate the corresponding transport coefficients to various anomaly coefficients of the system. We propose that these transport processes can be thought of as arising from the continuous injection of chiral states and their subsequent adiabatic flow driven by vorticity. This in turn leads to an elegant expression relating the anomaly induced transport coefficients to the anomaly polynomial of the Ideal Weyl gas.Comment: 35 pages, JHEP forma

    The effect of higher derivative correction on η/s\eta /s and conductivities in STU model

    In this paper we study the ratio of shear viscosity to entropy, electrical and thermal conductivities for the R-charged black hole in STU model. We generalize previous works to the case of a black hole with three different charges. Actually we use diffusion constant to obtain ratio of shear viscosity to entropy. By applying the thermodynamical stability we recover previous results. Also we investigate the effect of higher derivative corrections.Comment: revised versio

    Properties of some conformal field theories with M-theory duals

    By studying classes of supersymmetric solutions of D=11 supergravity with AdS_5 factors, we determine some properties of the dual four-dimensional N=1 superconformal field theories. For some explicit solutions we calculate the central charges and also the conformal dimensions of certain chiral primary operators arising from wrapped membranes. For the most general class of solutions we show that there is a consistent Kaluza-Klein truncation to minimal D=5 gauged supergravity. This latter result allows us to study some aspects of the dual strongly coupled thermal plasma with a non-zero R-charge chemical potential and, in particular, we show that the ratio of the shear viscosity to the entropy density has the universal value of 1/4 pi.Comment: Consistent truncation extended to include fermions.     Non-BPS D-brane Near NS5-branes

    We use tachyon field theory effective action to study the dynamics of a non-BPS Dp-brane propagating in the vicinity of k NS5-branes. For the time dependent tachyon condensation we will concentrate on the case of the large tachyon and the case when a non-BPS D-brane is close to NS5-branes. For spatial dependent tachyon condensation we will argue that the problem reduces to the study of the motion of an array of D(p-1)-branes and D(p-1)-antibranes in the vicinity of k NS5-branes.Comment: 21 page
