Cosmic Acceleration and Anisotropic models with Magnetic field
Plane symmetric cosmological models are investigated with or without any dark
energy components in the field equations. Keeping an eye on the recent
observational constraints concerning the accelerating phase of expansion of the
universe, the role of magnetic field is assessed. In the absence of dark energy
components, magnetic field can favour an accelerating model even if we take a
linear relationship between the directional Hubble parameters. In presence of
dark energy components in the form of a time varying cosmological constant, the
influence of magnetic field is found to be limited.Comment: 19 pages, 3 figures, submitted to EPJ plu
The effect of a light radion on the triviality bound on higgs mass
In this paper we study how the triviality bound on higgs mass in the context
of the SM is modified by a light stabilized radion of the Goldberger-Wise
variety. Our approach is inherently perturbative. Including the radion
contribution to \bt(\l) and \bt(g_t) to one loop we evolve the higgs self
coupling \l from the cut off \L(=\vphi) down to the EW scale .
The triviality bound is obtained by requiring that \l(\L) = \sqrt{4 \pi}
which is the perturbative limit. We also study the effect of small changes in
the UVBC on the triviality bound both in the presence and absence of a light
radion.Comment: 9 pages, latex, 2 eps figure
Techniques for improving the performance of unsupervised approach to sentiment analysis
In this work, few techniques were proposed to enhance the performance of unsupervised sentiment analysis method to categorize review reports into sentiment orientations (positive and negative). In review reports, generally negations can change the polarity of other terms in a sentence. Therefore, a new technique for handling negations was proposed. As it is seen that, the positions of terms in a report are also important i.e. the same term appearing at different positions in a report may convey different amount of sentiments. Thus, a new technique was proposed to assign weights to the terms depending on their positions of occurrences within a review. Again, another technique was proposed to use the presence of exclamatory marks in the reviews as the effects of exclamatory marks are equally important in categorizing review reports. After incorporating all these concepts in the first phase of the proposed method, in the second phase, analysis of sentiment orientations was done using cluster ensemble method. The proposed method was tested on a state-of-the-art Movie review dataset and 91.75% accuracy was achieved. A significant improvement over some of the unsupervised and supervised methods in terms of accuracy was achieved with incorporation of the new techniques
On fuzzy weakly-closed sets
A new class of fuzzy closed sets, namely fuzzy weakly closed set in a fuzzy
topological space is introduced and it is established that this class of fuzzy
closed sets lies between fuzzy closed sets and fuzzy generalized closed sets.
Alongwith the study of fundamental results of such closed sets, we define and
characterize fuzzy weakly compact space and fuzzy weakly closed space
Strategic Supplementation for Compensatory Growth in Tharparkar Calves Fed Low Quality Forages
When animals are kept under feed restriction for a certain period of time followed by availability of feed again had high growth rate and even exceeded those of animals that were well fed throughout the same period (Tolla et al., 2003), because of physiological impulse called compensatory gain. Thus it improves feed efficiency and reduces feeding cost (Neto et al., 2011). However, when this happens in females growing calves it is desirable, provided it does not occur during puberty so that there is no reproductive damage. But compensatory growth varies depending upon the intensity and duration of under nutrition before re-alimentation. In the present study the effects of moderate level of feed restriction and later re-alimentation with strategic supplementation approach (a mixture of protein and energy sources) on nutritional status and growth performances were recorded in female growing calves
A CONCEPTUAL PATHO-CLINICAL STUDY ON THE DISORDER OF MUTRABAHA SROTAS W. S. R. TO MUTR ASHMARI (UROLITHIASIS)
Now a days, several patients are reporting to the hospitals by regularly affecting with different Mutrabaha Srotas disorders like burning micturation, urinary stone diseases etc. Mutrashmari is one of the important diseases of Mutrabaha Srotas. This may caused due to the intake of adulterated food and polluted water. So, it becomes important to know the details about this disease in terms of Nidana (etiological factors), Samprapti (Pathogenesis), lakshyanas (symptomatology), Upadrava (complications), Sadhya-sadhyata (prognosis) and chikitsa (management) of this disease, in order to treat or prevent the disease. Here an effort was made to describe details about this disease both in Ayurvedic as well as modern view and interpreted each other. It helps physician to know about this disease in detail. So that, they can treat successfully to this disease for the benefits of mankind
