Modelling of Water Requirements for Some Vegetable Crops under Ismailia Conditions

The scarcity of water resources around the globe has generated a need for their optimum utilization. Further; an agriculture consume a lot of water to irrigate crops, trees and landscape with different processes relying on climate data or soil data...etc. thus, dealing with this  data help to maximizing on farm water management  and rationalize unit of water. Using smart devices for irrigation management can help in achieving optimum water-resource utilization. This paper presents an open-source technology (Arduino Board) based smart algorithm, to predict the irrigation requirements using the sensing of ground parameter like  Soil Moisture sensor, Real Time Clock (RTC) module, SD card module, Liquid Crystal Display. And, applied (Arduino design) at the field to irrigate a Bottle Gourd crop and comparing with CropWat model as a method for calculate the water requirement using climate data. Using Arduino device helps to rationalize a significant amount of water by 66.5mm comparing with CropWat model. Furthermore, Arduino design with algorithm model gain a good value for (IWUE) by (2.003 kg.m-3), (5.09 ton .fed-1) for Yield production. In addition; this design helping for monitoring the changing in soil water content with reducing total water applied for Bottle Gourd crop. Novi steroidni derivati sintetizirani iz 3betha-hidroksiandrosten-17-ona

In this study, we synthesized some new substituted steroidal derivatives using 3betha-hydroxyandrosten-17-one (dehydroepiandrosterone) as starting material. The synthesized steroidal derivatives 1-11 were evaluated for their androgenic-anabolic activities compared to testosterone as positive control. Details of the synthesis, spectroscopic data and toxicity (LD50) of synthesized compounds are reported.U radu je opisana sinteza novih steroidnih derivata 1-11 koristeći 3betha-hidroksiandrosten-17-on (dehidroepiandrosteron) kao početnu supstanciju. An Algebra of Pure Quantum Programming

We develop a sound and complete equational theory for the functional quantum programming language QML. The soundness and completeness of the theory are with respect to the previously-developed denotational semantics of QML. The completeness proof also gives rise to a normalisation algorithm following the normalisation by evaluation approach. A Deconvolution Approach to the Three Dimensional Identification of Cracks in Magnetic Slabs

Nondestructive assessment of cracks in metallic parts has always been a topic of industrial interest. In the past, different approaches have been proposed to assess such cracks. Recently, semi-orthogonal compactly supported spline wavelets were utilized to efficiently identify the 3D spatial location of cracks in conducting slabs of finite thicknesses. Within this proposed approach a horizontally oriented field sensor is employed on top of a magnetic slab subject to uniform horizontal magnetic field. In this paper the 3D spatial identification of cracks in conducting slabs is carried out through the Fourier transform by de-convoluting sensor response. In comparison to the previously adopted approach, the approach proposed in this paper is capable of identifying cracks that span over a relatively larger distance.  Details of the crack detection methodology and simulations are given in the paper
