Stylized Facts of the Gross National Product of Argentina: 1875 - 1999

The stylized facts of macroeconomic time series can be presented by fitting structural time series models. Within this framework, we study the behaviour of the gross national product of Argentina in the long run and provide a method for modelling this behaviour, which in turn is equivalent to establishing the stylized facts associated with these time series. We analyse the annual data of the gross national product and the gross national product per capita of Argentina from 1875 to 1999. The study of these variables allows, among other things, to know the changes that have been taking place in the economy. The education under the Spanish Moroccan Protectorate throughout three magazines of the Spanish Africanist League (1913-1931)

Colonialism and postcolonialism are important stages in the history of many European countries such as Great Britain, France, Holland, Portugal or Spain. However, rarely are the colonies taken into account in the history of education of these countries. In the case of Spain, it has scarcely been explored throughout most of the Century XX. The establishment of the Protectorate in the north of Morocco in 1912 meant the need to put in place measures to control the territory and the population. From early on, education was considered as an colonisation agent and several models of education appeared: colonial school, traditional school and nationalist school. Each one had a different target audience and different aims. The Digital Periodicals Library of the National Library offers three journals on the Spanish Protectorate in Morocco. They present a continuity between 1913 and 1931. The first is África Española. Revista de Colonización (1913-1917). This one was followed by Boletín de la Liga Africanista Española (1917-1923) and later by Revista hispano africana (1923-1931). Our main goal is to analyze the contents of these journals of the Spanish Africanist League on education, grouping them around descriptors such as educational levels, teachers and debates on education, as well as the impact of the Spanish culture on the Protectorate throughout the educational institutions.Proyecto EDU2014-53679-P y Universidad de Málaga. Global stability map of the flow in a horizontal concentric cylinder forced by natural convection.

There are a large number of studies in the literature on natural convection in the annulus between horizontal concentric cylinders. However, not many publications dealing with global stability analysis in this kind of flow have been published. For a fixed diameter ratio L/Di = (Ro − Ri)/2Ri, being Ri and Ro the inner and outer cylinder radii respectively, and assuming Boussinesq approximation, the solution only depends on Prandtl (P r ≡ ν/α) and Rayleigh (Ra ≡ g β L3 (Ti − To)/(ν α)) numbers. A spectral collocation code has been developed to solve the problem by means of Chebyshev and Fourier differentiation matrices for L/Di = 0.8 and it has been validated with classical experimental results. Steady solutions have been sought within the range P r ∈ [1e−2, 1] and Ra ∈ [1e-2, 5e6]. As a result, a steady solution Pr-Ra map (consisting of 149 x 75 points) has been traced, where the different families of similar solutions found are detailed, mainly characterized by presenting single or multiple plumes.
