Convergence Analysis of the Lowest Order Weakly Penalized Adaptive Discontinuous Galerkin Methods
In this article, we prove convergence of the weakly penalized adaptive
discontinuous Galerkin methods. Unlike other works, we derive the contraction
property for various discontinuous Galerkin methods only assuming the
stabilizing parameters are large enough to stabilize the method. A central idea
in the analysis is to construct an auxiliary solution from the discontinuous
Galerkin solution by a simple post processing. Based on the auxiliary solution,
we define the adaptive algorithm which guides to the convergence of adaptive
discontinuous Galerkin methods
Esto no se condice.---The investigation about the Emotional Intelligence and its relation with the Physical Aerobic Endurance Capacity in the fourth’s year students from ENAMM, pretends to explain the different implicances of the Emotional Intelligence in the Physical Aerobic endurance capacity and the importance of both components in the development and the welfare psychophysical in those students. Furthermore, the main objective of this was to establish a relationship between the Emotional Intelligence with the Physical Aerobic Endurance Capacity in Merchant Marine’s students. In addition, we should take into consideration the old, physical capacity and the emotional factors. Apart from that, for this study some truthful and validated instruments have been implemented to be used in Peru such as the ICE of Bar-On that was adapted by Zoila Abanto, Leonardo Higueras and Jorge Cueto. Moreover, another important tool was the Cooper Test that was applied in different sport federations and institutes.
For this procedure a nonparametric test was chosen, assuming for this case Spearman rho to establish the relationship between emotional intelligence and physical endurance capacity in students ENAMM.
According to the data analyzed with Spearman rho show a weak negative relationship -0.056 (where p <0.05) between emotional intelligence and physical endurance capacity in students ENAMM. To be a bilateral significance 0.698 it is outside the allowed value (0.05) the null hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is no significant relationship between both variables. This indicates that many of the students who have good physical endurance capacity have regular emotional intelligence. This is not consistent.

Error analysis of discontinuous Galerkin methods for Stokes problem under minimal regularity
In this article, we analyze several discontinuous Galerkin methods (DG) for the
Stokes problem under the minimal regularity on the solution. We assume that the velocity
u belongs to [H1 0 ()]d and the pressure p 2 L2 0 (). First, we analyze standard DG methods assuming that the right hand side f belongs to [H¡1() \ L1()]d. A DG method that is well de¯ned for f belonging to [H¡1()]d is then investigated. The methods under study
include stabilized DG methods using equal order spaces and inf-sup stable ones where the pressure space is one polynomial degree less than the velocity space.Preprin
Discrete Elasticity Exact Sequences on Worsey-Farin Splits
We construct conforming finite element elasticity complexes on Worsey-Farin
splits in three dimensions. Spaces for displacement, strain, stress, and the
load are connected in the elasticity complex through the differential operators
representing deformation, incompatibility, and divergence. For each of these
component spaces, a corresponding finite element space on Worsey-Farin meshes
is exhibited. Unisolvent degrees of freedom are developed for these finite
elements, which also yields commuting (cochain) projections on smooth
functions. A distinctive feature of the spaces in these complexes is the lack
of extrinsic supersmoothness at subsimplices of the mesh. Notably, the complex
yields the first (strongly) symmetric stress finite element with no vertex or
edge degrees of freedom in three dimensions. Moreover, the lowest order stress
space uses only piecewise linear functions which is the lowest feasible
polynomial degree for the stress space
Symmetric and conforming mixed finite elements for plane elasticity using rational bubble functions
Summary We construct stable, conforming and symmetric finite elements for the mixed formulation of the linear elasticity problem in two dimensions. In our approach we add three divergence free rational functions to piecewise polynomials to form the stress finite element space. The relation with the elasticity elements and a class of generalized C 1 Zienkiewicz elements is also discussed
