Over-expression of eNOS leads to increased pro-apoptotic proteins in the liver.

<p>Western blot analysis of bcl-2, bax, bad, and p53. Total mouse hepatic proteins were used (50 ug of protein per well). The Western blot of β-actin from the same samples was used as an internal control.</p

Over-expression of eNOS led to increased levels of nitrosylated proteins in the mouse livers.

<p>Two bands (−25 kD and 50 kD) of nitrosylated protein were detected by Western blot analysis of hepatic total proteins.</p

Over-expression of eNOS led to increased apoptotic activity in the liver.
