Quantifying quantum coherence based on the generalized αz\alpha-z-relative Reˊ\acute{e}nyi entropy

We present a family of coherence quantifiers based on the generalized αz\alpha-z-relative Reˊ\acute{e}nyi entropy. These quantifiers satisfy all the standard criteria for well-defined measures of coherence, and include some existing coherence measures as special cases.Comment: 9 pages, 1 figure

AbstractRare earth Mg alloy has aroused increasing attention in aviation, spaceflight, war industry application fields; however, its poor corrosion-resistance restricted its wide range of application. For Mg-7Gd-5Y-Nd-Zr extruding plate, the grain orientation and size are different in three planes, which is extruding plane (surface), side plane, and cross-section plane. Microstructure may lead to the variation of corrosion resistant to marine climate environment. The corrosion resistance of chloride ion in three different planes of rare earth Mg plate was studied. The immersion and dynamic potential polarization curves in 3.5wt. % concentration of sodium chloride solution were used to analysis and compare electrochemical characteristics among the three planes. Optical microscope was employed to observe the microstructure of Mg alloy before and after the chloride ion erosion. The X-ray diffraction was used to determine its corrosion product. The results show that corrosion-resistance properties of the three planes (surface, side and cross section) are different. Pitting corrosion are mainly characteristics and corrosion product is magnesium hydroxide. The different resistant properties of three planes are mainly attributed to different grain size and orientation of the different planes

Polygamy relation of quantum correlations with equality

We provide a generalized definition of polygamy relations for any quantum correlation measures. Instead of the usual polygamy inequality, a polygamy relation with equality is given by introducing the polygamy weight. From the polygamy relation with equality, we present polygamy inequalities satisfied by the β\betath (β>0)(\beta>0) power of the quantum correlation measures. Taking concurrence of assistance as an example, we further illustrate the significance and advantages of these relations. We also obtain a polygamy relation with equality by considering the one-to-group entanglements for any quantum entanglement measures that do not satisfy the polygamy relations. We demonstrate that such relations for tripartite states can be generalized to multipartite systems

Distribution of tick-borne diseases in China

As an important contributor to vector-borne diseases in China, in recent years, tick-borne diseases have attracted much attention because of their increasing incidence and consequent significant harm to livestock and human health. The most commonly observed human tick-borne diseases in China include Lyme borreliosis (known as Lyme disease in China), tick-borne encephalitis (known as Forest encephalitis in China), Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (known as Xinjiang hemorrhagic fever in China), Q-fever, tularemia and North-Asia tick-borne spotted fever. In recent years, some emerging tick-borne diseases, such as human monocytic ehrlichiosis, human granulocytic anaplasmosis, and a novel bunyavirus infection, have been reported frequently in China. Other tick-borne diseases that are not as frequently reported in China include Colorado fever, oriental spotted fever and piroplasmosis. Detailed information regarding the history, characteristics, and current epidemic status of these human tick-borne diseases in China will be reviewed in this paper. It is clear that greater efforts in government management and research are required for the prevention, control, diagnosis, and treatment of tick-borne diseases, as well as for the control of ticks, in order to decrease the tick-borne disease burden in China

    Bis(3-nitrophenyl) sulfone

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C12H8N2O6S, an important diphenyl sulfone derivative, contains one half-molecule; a mirror plane passes through the SO2 group. The dihedral angle between the two symmetry-related benzene rings is 40.10 (13)°. An intramolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bond results in the formation of a five-membered ring, which adopts an envelope conformation

Influence of eight rootstocks on fruit quality of Morus multicaulis cv. ‘Zijing’ and the comprehensive evaluation of fruit quality traits

Mulberry (Morus L.) has become an important crop throughout the world due to its fruits have been industrially exploited for various commercially valuable products. Many studies on mulberry related to genetic diversity, fruit quality, and breeding programs have been carried out, but little information on mulberry rootstocks is available, especially the possibility of applying grafting to improve the fruit quality. Here, we evaluated the effects of 8 different rootstocks on the fruit quality of ‘Zijing’ mulberry. Twelve fruit quality traits were extremely different except for the fruit shape index (FSI). ‘Zijing’ on ‘Zheza 2’ had the highest fruit weight (FW) and size, as well as titratable acidity (TA), but lower levels of other compounds content except the total soluble solids content (TSS) were detected. ‘Yuesang 51’ exhibited the highest soluble sugar content (SSC), reducing sugar content (RSC), SSC/TA ratio, anthocyanin content (AC) and the lower TA. In contrast, the lowest TSS, SSC and RSC were shown in ‘Guisang 5’. Moreover, ‘Guisang 12’ exhibited the highest TSS and soluble protein content (SPC). The highest vitamin C content (VC) was observed in ‘Guisang 6’. ‘Tang 10 × Lun109’, Zhenzhubai seedlings, ‘Yuesang 11’ together with ‘Yuesang 51’ had the lowest and similar levels of TA. Most importantly, these fruit quality traits were evaluated by principal component analysis (PCA), and ‘Yuesang 51’ with good comprehensive fruit quality was screened out, followed by ‘Guisangyou 12’. Overall, these results contribute to evaluating the roles of different rootstocks on improving fruit quality of mulberry

In the sulfone molecule of the title compound, C12H12N2O2S·C2H3N, the two benzene rings are oriented at a dihedral angle of 80.69 (3)°. Weak intramolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds result in the formation of two five-membered rings, which both have envelope conformations. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules

Protection against SHIV-KB9 Infection by Combining rDNA and rFPV Vaccines Based on HIV Multiepitope and p24 Protein in Chinese Rhesus Macaques

Developing an effective vaccine against HIV infection remains an urgent goal. We used a DNA prime/fowlpox virus boost regimen to immunize Chinese rhesus macaques. The animals were challenged intramuscularly with pathogenic molecularly cloned SHIV-KB9. Immunogenicity and protective efficacy of vaccines were investigated by measuring IFN-γ levels, monitoring HIV-specific binding antibodies, examining viral load, and analyzing CD4/CD8 ratio. Results show that, upon challenge, the vaccine group can induce a strong immune response in the body, represented by increased expression of IFN-γ, slow and steady elevated antibody production, reduced peak value of acute viral load, and increase in the average CD4/CD8 ratio. The current research suggests that rapid reaction speed, appropriate response strength, and long-lasting immune response time may be key protection factors for AIDS vaccine. The present study contributes significantly to AIDS vaccine and preclinical research
