Examining Burmese students’ multilingual practices and identity positionings at a border high school in China
This study explores a cohort of Burmese students’ lived experiences at a border high school in China and demonstrates that their multilingual practices and identity positionings constitute exclusionary effects that limit their interactions with their local Chinese teachers and peers. The paper argues that these Burmese students’ in-group interactions reproduce the process of exclusion, further complicating their identity positionings. This paper confirms the established fact that transnational students are marginalized in a variety of national contexts in complex ways, and draws attention to in-group differences among transnational students with diverse backgrounds. These findings have implications for multilingual practices and education policy makers, and for a more inclusive pedagogical approach to reducing marginalization and educating students of diverse linguistic, cultural, and racial backgrounds for global citizenship
Studies Of Some 3, 4-Dichlorophenacyl Esters Derivatives: Synthesis, Characterization, Crystal Structure Determination And Antioxidant Properties
In this research, a series of nineteen 3, 4-dichlorophenacyl esters 2(a−s) were synthesized and crystallized by using slow evaporation method. The crystal structures were characterized by FT-IR and NMR spectroscopic analyses and further determined by single crystal X-ray crystallography technique (except 2o and 2s). The molecular conformation and crystal packing of these compounds were studied crystallographically. Eight compounds crystallized in monoclinic P21/c or P21/n space group, seven in triclini
Entropic uncertainty relations for Markovian and non-Markovian processes under a structured bosonic reservoir
The uncertainty relation is a fundamental limit in quantum mechanics and is
of great importance to quantum information processing as it relates to quantum
precision measurement. Due to interactions with the surrounding environment, a
quantum system will unavoidably suffer from decoherence. Here, we investigate
the dynamic behaviors of the entropic uncertainty relation of an atom-cavity
interacting system under a bosonic reservoir during the crossover between
Markovian and non-Markovian regimes. Specifically, we explore the dynamic
behavior of the entropic uncertainty relation for a pair of incompatible
observables under the reservoir-induced atomic decay effect both with and
without quantum memory. We find that the uncertainty dramatically depends on
both the atom-cavity and the cavity-reservoir interactions, as well as the
correlation time, , of the structured reservoir. Furthermore, we verify
that the uncertainty is anti-correlated with the purity of the state of the
observed qubit-system. We also propose a remarkably simple and efficient way to
reduce the uncertainty by utilizing quantum weak measurement reversal.
Therefore our work offers a new insight into the uncertainty dynamics for
multi-component measurements within an open system, and is thus important for
quantum precision measurements.Comment: 17 pages, 9 figures, to appear in Scientific Report
Packing Of Malaysian Brand Skin Care Products
Skin care products consider hygienic of skin under cleanliness and simplicity with appropriate washing, cleansing, and use of soaps. The aim of this research is to identify the problem of the design of Malaysian brand skin care product packaging. The packaging design of skin care product that available in the market is lacking visual identity which most of the product used complicated typography and imageries. Method to repackage and making it effective to the consumer will be
studied and increase the sale by designing a new Malaysia brand skin care products of that can compete with overseas products for a global marketplace which including international regulatory guidelines and the challenges associated with the overseas manufacture that will contribute to Malaysia’s sale and industry
