Optimization for Hub-and-Spoke Port Logistics Network of Dynamic Hinterland

    Get PDF
AbstractThe port logistics and its regional economic react on each other and develop in unison. This paper studies the Hub-and-Spoke port logistics network which is a transportation system between the sea routes and ports hinterland transport routes. An optimization model is proposed with the objective of the total transportation cost in the regional port group based on the conditions of dynamic hinterland. This paper not only ensures every port in the hub-and spoke port logistics network to achieve its maximum economic benefits, but also makes the entire system get the minimum total transportation cost in the view of quantitative point. In order to illustrate the validity of the model, the example was solved. The results show that the model is feasible. Furthermore, the competitiveness power of the port, the demarcation of hinterland and the traffic capacity are changed dynamically in the model, which is closer to the real system

The Online Data Quality Monitoring System at BESIII

The online Data Quality Monitoring (DQM) plays an important role in the data taking process of HEP experiments. BESIII DQM samples data from online data flow, reconstructs them with offline reconstruction software, and automatically analyzes the reconstructed data with user-defined algorithms. The DQM software is a scalable distributed system. The monitored results are gathered and displayed in various formats, which provides the shifter with current run information that can be used to find problems early. This paper gives an overview of DQM system at BESIII.Comment: Already submit to Chinese Physics

The purpose of this study was to promote the development of PE curriculum theory and practice. Literature review method and logical analysis were used in this study. The results showed that physical education curriculum and teaching related ideas are based on optimizing the teaching theory system of integrated physical education. At the macro theoretical guidance level, moral education is the theoretical basis for the construction of sports related curriculum education and teaching ideology. In terms of setting and construction, lifelong physical education is the theoretical basis of school physical education curriculum education and teaching system construction. In the overall construction, we should not only set up a reasonable framework, but also optimize and incorporate high-quality course teaching resources. On the practical level, physical education teaching refers to the relatively stable structure and procedure of physical education activities established under the guidance of certain teaching ideas or teaching theories, which is the theoretical basis for the practice of physical education teaching system. Physical education teaching practice system is the ultimate embodiment of physical education teaching implementation on the basis of physical education teaching ideology and construction system. Based on different groups and different types of physical education courses, the practice path and effect are optimized and integrated, and efficient and feasible physical education teaching practice system is constructed

An improved algorithm for Generalized \v{C}ech complex construction

In this paper, we present an algorithm that computes the generalized \v{C}ech complex for a finite set of disks where each may have a different radius in 2D space. An extension of this algorithm is also proposed for a set of balls in 3D space with different radius. To compute a kk-simplex, we leverage the computation performed in the round of (k−1)(k-1)-simplices such that we can reduce the number of potential candidates to verify to improve the efficiency. An efficient verification method is proposed to confirm if a kk-simplex can be constructed on the basis of the (k−1)(k-1)-simplices. We demonstrate the performance with a comparison to some closely related algorithms

Verification of a Chemical Nonequilibrium Flows Solver Using the Method of Manufactured Solutions

AbstractThis paper presents code verification of a chemically nonequilibrium flows solver using the method of manufacturedsolutions. The Method of Manufactured Solutions(MMS) is a general approach for creating exact solutions to the governing equations and can be used in the code verification process. In the MMS, the analytical solutions for the flow variables are first constructed, then the governing equations are modified to satisfy these solutions by adding appropriate source terms which are generated by applying the governing equations to these solutions. After that, code verification process will start. The order of accuracy of the calculations will be computed and compared with theoretical order of accuracy to determine if the code passes the verification test. We created manufactured solutions for two different sets of Euler equations. One set includes the total density equation plus ns-1 species equations and the other contains only species continuity equations. The results show that the form of continuity equations has little influence on the behaviour of global conservative variable errors as the mesh is refined. Our study also indicates that a complete chemical reaction model is preferred to ensure the convergence of observed order of accuracy is smooth in the order of accuracy test

A new species of the genus Mongolotettix Rehn, 1928 from Henan, China is described. The new species, Mongolotettix tongbaishanensis Yin, Ji et Dai sp. n. is similar to M. shanxiensis Shi, Liu et Li, 2016, but differs from the latter by shorter tegmina of male, which reach the hind margin of the 6th abdominal tergite, the maximumwidth of cubital area being 1.2 times wider than the maximum width of the medial area, the prozona of male being 1.5 times longer than the metazona, the tegmina of female being short, extending slightly over the hind margin of the 1st abdominal tergite, the length of tegmina being 2.5 times longer than its maximum width, the epiphallus being wider than high, and the length of the upper ovipositor valve being 4.4 times longer than its maximum width

Mean Shift-Based Mobile Localization Method in Mixed LOS/NLOS Environments for Wireless Sensor Network

    Get PDF
Mobile localization estimation is a significant research topic in the fields of wireless sensor network (WSN), which is of concern greatly in the past decades. Non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation seriously decreases the positioning accuracy if it is not considered when the mobile localization algorithm is designed. NLOS propagation has been a serious challenge. This paper presents a novel mobile localization method in order to overcome the effects of NLOS errors by utilizing the mean shift-based Kalman filter. The binary hypothesis is firstly carried out to detect the measurements which contain the NLOS errors. For NLOS propagation condition, mean shift algorithm is utilized to evaluate the means of the NLOS measurements and the data association method is proposed to mitigate the NLOS errors. Simulation results show that the proposed method can provide higher location accuracy in comparison with some traditional methods
