    No full text
The chapters deals with electrothermal atomization technique mechanism, temperature program, disturbing effects, influence of graphit surphace quality, analysis of solid samples and suspensions and possibility of simultaneous multielement analysis

Atomic absorption spectrometry I. Basic course

    No full text
The chapters deals with electrothermal atomizers their construction, materials and types of graphite atomizers

Application of microwave-assistet decomposition procedures in analysis of dust aerosols

    No full text
The use of microwave-assisted digestion in analyses of airb orne particulate matter. The analytical procedure of sample preparation for AAS measurements of selected analytes (As, Cd, Cr, Mn, Ni, Pb, Zn) was developed. The validation of a method was done by analyses of SRM 1648 (NIST) and by using a new testing material - urban dust. The preparation of this material was described. Recommended values of selected analytes given by different independent methods (AAS, ICP-OES, ICP, MS, INAA and PIXE) are included

Evaluation of distribution of toxicologically important elements in urban dust from two Prague tunnels subway and road by sequential leaching and methods ICP-AES and GF AAS

The three-stage sequential extraction procedure for speciation of potentially toxic trace elements As, Cd, Cr, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn has been applied to establish their distribution in urban dust from two Prague tunnels road Letná with automobile traffic and subway, station Muzeum. Analytes were determined by ICP-AES and GF AAS method
