High clarity speech separation using synchro extracting transform

Degenerate unmixing estimation technique (DUET) is the most ideal blind source separation (BSS) method for underdetermined conditions with number of sources exceeds number of mixtures. Estimation of mixing parameters which is the most critical step in the DUET algorithm, is developed based on the characteristic feature of sparseness of speech signals in time frequency (TF) domain. Hence, DUET relies on the clarity of time frequency representation (TFR) and even the slightest interference in the TF plane will be detrimental to the unmixing performance. In conventional DUET algorithm, short time Fourier transform (STFT) is utilized for extracting the TFR of speech signals. However, STFT can provide on limited sharpness to the TFR due to its inherent conceptual limitations, which worsens under noise contamination. This paper presents the application of post-processing techniques like synchro squeezed transform (SST) and synchro extracting transform (SET) to the DUET algorithm, to improve the TF resolution. The performance enhancement is evaluated both qualitatively and quantitatively by visual inspection, Renyi entropy of TFR and objective measures of speech signals. The results show enhancement in TF resolution and high clarity signal reconstruction. The method also provides adequate robustness to noise contamination

The nano-sized ceramic superconducting material YSBCO having perovskite structure was prepared according to the chemical formula by the thermo chemical solid state reaction technique using a high-energy ball milling process through mechanically assisted synthesis. It was characterized by XRD, SEM and EDX. Here the authours studied the thermal characterization using TGA, DTA and DSC

Speech Scrambling Based on Chaotic Mapping and Random Permutation for Modern Mobile Communication Systems

The expanding significance of securing data over the network has promoted growth of strong encryptionalgorithms. To enhance the information protection in network communications, this paper presents a Randompermutation, chaotic mapping and pseudo random binary scrambling. It involves transforming the intelligible speechsignal into an unintelligible form to protect it from interrupters. In this report, suggest a simple and secure procedureto secure the speech signal. The speech scrambling process makes use of two Permutations. In the first step, Randompermutation algorithm is used to swap the rows of the original speech followed by swapping of rows using chaoticBernoulli mapping. This produces an intermediary scrambled speech. In the second measure, pseudo random binarygenerator is used to make the final scrambled signal. Various analysis tests are then executed to determine thequality of the encrypted image. The test results determine the efficiency of the proposed speech scrambling process

Aim - To Evaluate and compare the Knowledge, Attitude & Practice about melanoma among pharmacy students in private institute.Material and Methods- The study is carried out with a sample size of 109 students in VISTAS, Pallavaram, at Chennai. It is a web based cross –sectional study. The data were collected by e-questionnaire of 25 questions into 4 domains, where demographic details and questions regarding knowledge, attitude and practice of Melanoma where asked among pharmacy students in Chennai. Results- In our study questionnaire was circulated to 109 pharmacy students totally, all 109 pharmacy students have responded giving response rate of (100%) who is studying in private institution at Chennai. The statistical analysis was calculated based on review performed the data were entered into Epidata 3.1 and exported to SPSS version 22 and analyzed using descriptive statistics and logistic regression.Conclusion- As per the study results the study participants have good knowledge, Attitudes and Practice towards melanoma. Most of our study participants were aware about melanoma, risk factors, causes and symptoms of melanoma. Both M.Pharm and pharm D have GOOD knowledge, Attitude, and practice. Compared to M.Pharm, pharm D have much better knowledge, Attitude and Practice

Objective : To study the anticonvulsant activity and neurotoxicity of ethanolic extract and ethyl acetate fraction of the rhizome of Smilax china (EESC and EAF, respectively) in mice. Materials and Methods : The anticonvulsant activities of EESC and EAF were studied against maximal electroshock (MES) and pentylenetetrazole (PTZ)-induced seizures in mice and neurotoxicity was determined using rotarod test. Results : The duration of hindleg extension in MES test was reduced significantly (P < 0.001) by EESC at a dose level of 400 mg/kg and EAF at both higher dose levels (200 and 400 mg/kg). In PTZ model, the seizure latency was prolonged by all the test groups. Conclusion : The EESC and EAF may help to control petit mal and grand mal seizures

The study was carried out using questionnaire and google forms. Before conducting the study, ethical approval was obtained from the Institutional Ethical committee (IEC). The data were collected by questionnaire of 20 questions into 4 domains, where demographic details and questions regarding knowledge, attitude and practice of community pharmacist in dispensing OTC drugs for acute pain management. where asked among community pharmacist in Chennai. Result and Discussion- In our study questionnaire was circulated to 233 community pharmacist totally, but only 189 community pharmacist’ have responded giving response rate of (81.1%) who is working as community pharmacies in Chennai. Majority of community pharmacist responded from the age group above 18-28 years 132(69.8), Most of response were from male participants 106 (56.08) and education qualification were 118(62.4). The study result shows that community pharmacist 72% knowledge regarding OTC drugs for acute pain management. Most of the community pharmacist prescribe Paracetamol (70.8%) for acute pain management. And NSAIDs like Ibuprofen (29.2%)

In this era of High temperature superconductors (HTS), having a lot of applications like high -voltage generator, Ceramic superconductor yttrium strontium bismuth copper oxide (YSBCO) was synthesized thermo chemically by solid state method at different treating temperatures. A characteristic feature of all solid-state reactions is that they involve the formation of product phase(s) at the interfaces of the reactants. UV-VIS analysis of the sample was carried out. Tunable band gaps can be obtained by varying annealing temperatures. The optical constants of refractive index, normal-incidence reflectivity, extinction coefficient, and absorption coefficient showed systematic variation with temperature. The dispersion of refractive index was analyzed by the Wemple-Di Domenico singleoscillator model. Urbach energy was elucidated from the raw data
