    This is a database for a case-control study nested in the Spanish database BIFAP (Base de Datos para la Investigaci贸n Farmacoepidemiol贸gica en Atenci贸n Primaria, Database for Pharmacoepidemiologic Research in Primary Care). This is a longitudinal population-based database maintained by the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices that collects, from 2001 onwards, the computerized medical records of >3.2 million patients attended by more than 1,800 primary care physicians throughout Spain.
