In today's dynamic business environment, in order to compete in the market, financial institutes are trying to find the best portfolio policy that in turn leads to an increase in the return and a decrease in the risk for the investors. The objective of this study is to develop a portfolio considering the behavior of investors in risk taking. This research aims to support investors, experts and intermediate managers in establishing optimized portfolio of stocks according to investment strategy. The proposed model has used the five indexes of risk, return, skewness, liquidity and current ratio of 66 companies that enlisted in Tehran Stock Exchange Market and then clustered different companies using the hybrid method of clustering algorithm. After that, the clusters ranked using Topsis method. Ultimately, using genetic algorithm, the portfolio is established for different classes of investors with respect to their risk-taking level. The results show that the proposed model in comparison to general index, the industry index and the index of 50 more active companies are better in Tehran Stock Exchange.  Keywords: portfolio optimization, clustering, neural network, genetic algorithm JEL Classifications: C880, C61

A novel nanomagnetic catalyst with Cl[DABCO-NO2]C(NO2)3 tags was designed, synthesized and fully characterized by several techniques such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, elemental mapping analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, derivative thermal gravimetric, powder X-ray diffraction patterns, field scanning electron microscopy, high resolution transmission electron microscopy, physical adsorption and desorption of N2 isotherms (BET) and vibrating sample magnetometer. The synthesized nanomagnetic particles were used as an efficient and recyclable catalyst for the one-pot three component condensation reaction of 3-methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-5-amine or 3-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-amine, aryl aldehydes and malononitrile for the synthesis of pyrazolo[3,4-b]-pyridine derivatives under neat conditions. We thank Bu-Ali Sina University, Iran National Science Foundation (INSF) (Grant Number: 95831207), National Elites Foundation, University of Alicante (VIGROB-173, UAUSTI16-03), and the Spanish Ministerio de EconomĂa y Competitividad (CTQ2015-66624-P) for financial support to our research groups

Optimizing Penalties of Total Lateness and Energy Costs for Heterogeneous Parallel Machines Scheduling Using Memetic Algorithm

    No full text
In general, numerous studies have paid a special attention to machine planning, job allocating and job sequencing in scheduling problems to optimize makespan. Due to the relation among economy, energy and environmental concerns, energy use is one of the most important issues in different systems planning. In this paper, a scheduling of heterogeneous parallel machines is studied, in which the job process speed on every machine is settable. Since there is a direct link between used energy of machines and process speed, the purpose of the paper is to minimize total used energy and tardiness-related costs in delivering customers' demand. In order to optimizing the problem, two meta-heuristic algorithms, Memetic algorithm and Genetic algorithm, are developed, finally the results of both algorithms are analyzed and then compared to each other as well as to the results of the GAMS optimization software

Evaluation of Effective Factors on e-Loyalty in Organizations Providing Electronic Services using Fuzzy AHP Method

In today's business world, proper identification of customer’s requirements and a quick response to these requirements is a key to commercial success. Increasing customer loyalty affects the profitability and organizations can ensure their long-term interests by means of planning. In today's competitive world, the services provided by the competing company have to be more similar to each other and can be hard to surprise customers within completely new service in the long term, because the newest services are quickly imitated by competitors and marketed. Hence investment in customer loyalty is an effective and profitable investment for companies. One criticism that has entered into the e-service is customer loyalty. In order to study the causes of e-loyalty for organization providing e-services, this research identified the factors affecting customer loyalty in e-services and with questionnaire prepared and by using fuzzy hierarchical decision-making process acquires the weight of each factor and ultimately rank them. The results show that the quality of service provided to e-services customers is the most important factor in creating e-loyalty

Synthesis and application of melamine-based nano catalyst with phosphonic acid tags in the synthesis of (3´-indolyl)pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridines via vinylogous anomeric based oxidation

A novel nanostructured melamine-based organo solid acid with phosphorus acid tags was designed, synthesized and fully characterized. The catalytic activity of the resulted melamine hexakis(methylene)hexakis(phosphonic acid) (MHMHPA) as a heterogeneous catalyst was also investigated via an one-pot reaction between cyanoacetylindole, 3-methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-5-amine, and an aromatic aldehyde. (3´-Indolyl)pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridines were produced in good yields under refluxing ethanol. The solid catalyst can be recovered easily and reused without a significant loss of its catalytic activity. We thank Bu-Ali Sina University and Iran National Science Foundation (INSF) (Grant number: 98001912) for financial support to our research group

In this work, [Fe3O4@SiO2(CH2)3][DABCO-H][C(CN)3]2 was prepared, identified by various analyses such as FT-IR, EDX, SEM coupled EDX (SEM mapping), XRD, FE-SEM, TEM, TGA, DTG, ICP and VSM and used as a nanomagnetic catalyst for the synthesis of henna-based benzopyrazolo[3,4-b]quinolindiones via cooperative vinylogous anomeric based oxidation under solvent-free condition. Some of these products are new and reported for the first time.We thank the Bu-Ali Sina University, the Hamedan University of Technology, and Iran National Science Foundation [(INSF), Grant Number: 98001912) for financial support to our research group
