Five different methods of drying (microwave-drying, oven-drying at 50 and 70°C, sun-drying and shade drying) the fresh fruits of two hawthorn species – Crataegus azarolus L. (yellow) and Crataegus orientalis L. (red) – were investigated in this study to determine its impact on their antioxidant capacity and antioxidant content. The results showed that antioxidant capacity increased, and at the same time the number of total phenolic compounds decreased with increase in the temperature in oven drying, whereas in other drying methods (microwave, sun and shade-drying) the amount of total phenolic compounds increased. It was observed that in all samples the vitamin C content decreased. Samples dried in a microwave appeared to have the strongest antioxidant capacity. Microwave-drying appeared to be the best method for preserving bioactive chemicals.Świeże owoce dwóch gatunków głogu Crataegus azarolus L. (o żółtych owocach) i Crataegus orientalis L. (o czerwonych owocach) poddano suszeniu pięcioma metodami (mikrofalowo, w suszarce w temp.

This document Any software development processes have to follow a specific system development life cycle SDLC. There are many SDLC proposed and assigned as a guide lines for developing software. Many conditions force software development team to follow specific SDLC model depending on development strategy and the nature of organization. Many decisions generated through development process which required a highly skilled project leader. This study concentrated on developing a project management tool as a service, to provide solutions to organizations especially in selecting the suitable SDLC because of its necessity in meeting software development project objectives and closing it successfully. In this paper, the author is proposing a new model for managing information technology projects starting from selecting SDLC till closing project phases. For this, it was important to study many techniques used for comparing between SDLC models and provide the suitable model for the requested software project. The proposed system will increase concentration on project requirements and the changes occurred during development phases

International audienceThe Mars Helicopter, Ingenuity, is completing its third year operating on Mars. It is a technology demonstration carried on the 2020 Rover to show that flight in the thin Mars atmosphere is possible [1]. The first 18 flights of the mission were summarized in [2]. Surface operations and results from flights 19 through 38 of the 1st extended mission during calendar year 2022 are described in [3]. This abstract describes the third year of surface operations and contributions it has made

Introduction: Fish feed formulations are constantly evolving to improve the quality of diets for farmed fish and to ensure the sustainability of the aquaculture sector. Nowadays, insect, microalgae and yeast are feedstuff candidates for new feeds. However, the characterization of aquafeed is still based on proximate and targeted analyses which may not be sufficient to assess feed quality. Objectives: Our aim was to highlight the soluble compounds that specifically differ between selected plant-based feeds complemented with alternative feedstuffs and discuss their origin and potential for fish nutrition. Methods: A growth trial was carried out to evaluate growth performances and feed conversion ratios of fish fed plant-based, commercial, insect, spirulina and yeast feeds. 1H NMR metabolomics profiling of each feed was performed using a CPMG sequence on polar extracts. Spectra were processed, and data were analyzed using multivariate and univariate analyses to compare alternative feeds to a plant-based feed. Results: Fish fed insect or yeast feed showed the best growth performances associated with the lowest feed conversion ratios compared to plant-based feed. Soluble compound 1H NMR profiles of insect and spirulina alternative feeds differed significantly from the plant-based one that clustered with yeast feed. In insect and spirulina feeds, specific differences compared to plant-based feed concerned glycerol and 3-hydroxybutyrate, respectively. Conclusion: This strategy based on compositional differences between plant-based and alternative feeds can be useful for detecting compounds unsuspected until now that could impact fish metabolism
