    Skin diseases can be caused by several factors, namely living habits and the environment. Skin diseases can develop in personal hygiene and poor environmental hygiene conditions. The diversity of types of skin diseases and the factors that cause skin diseases requires a deeper study of every skin disease phenomenon that occurs in the community. This study aims to determine the factors that cause skin diseases in Asir-Asir Asia Village, Lut Tawar District, Takengon City, Central Aceh Regency. This research was carried out using descriptive analytic in the form ofa survey to determine the factors that cause skin disease in Asir-Asir Asia Village, Lut Tawar District, Takengon City, Central Aceh Regency. The results showed that residents with personal hygiene were 37 people (41.11%) and people with poor personal hygiene were 53 people (58.89%). Respondents who have environmental sanitation by meeting health requirements are 16 people (17.78%) and as many as 74 respondents (82.22%) do not meet health requirements and respondents with the category of having skin disease complaints are observed subjectively and objectively as many as 60 respondents (66.67%) and have no complaints of skin disease as many as 30 respondents (33.33%). The conclusion in this study is that personal hygiene factors have a significant relationship with the incidence of skin disease complaints with a significant value of  0.008 (p < 0.05) and environmental sanitation factors also have a significant relationship with the incidence of skin disease complaints with a significant value of 0.001 (p <0.05)

    PENGARUH PELAYANAN KESEHATAN GIGI DAN MULUT TERHADAP KEPUASAN PASIEN DI PUSKESMAS SENTOSA BARU KOTA MEDAN

    ABSTRAK Mutu pelayanan kesehatan dapat memengaruhi derajat kesehatan dan kesejahteraan pasien, karena pasien yang merasa puas akan datang berobat kembali. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut terhadap kepuasan pasien di puskesmas Sentosa Baru Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif survei analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional study. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di puskesmas Sentosa Baru Kota Medan. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh pasien rawat jalan yang berkunjung dengan rata-rata kunjungan perbulan yaitu 422 pasien. Adapun jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 81 orang. Teknik yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Data hasil survey dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji chi-square dan regeresi logistik.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh wujud (tangible), kehandalan (reliability), cepat tanggap (responsiveness), kepastian (assurance) dan empati (emphaty) pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut terhadap kepuasan pasien. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa wujud (tangible), kehandalan (reliability), cepat tanggap (responsiveness), (assurance) kepastian dan empati (emphaty) berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien di puskesmas Sentosa Baru Kota Medan dan variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien adalah variabel cepat tanggap (responsiveness). Adapun saran bagi penelitian ini yaitu sebaiknya puskesmas untuk menjaga kepuasan pasien pelanggan dengan meningkatkan mutu pelayanan dan melengkapi sarana prasarana yang masih kurang sehingga kepuasan pasien terpenuhi dan pasien menjadi loya

    PNEUMONIA PADA BALITA DI DESA TUNAS HARAPAN KECAMATAN GUNUNG MERIAH KABUPATEN ACEH SINGKIL PROPINSI ACEH

    ABSTRACT Pneumonia is the most acute pulmonary infectious disease that causes death in the world is no exception in Indonesia. Pneumonia in Indonesia mostly occurs in children under five which 10% of the number of  children under five in each region suffer from this disease. Provincial Aceh precisely Aceh Singkil District, Gunung Meriah becomes one of which, the number of cases of pneumonia amount 327 toddlers in 2016 and January – May 2017 amount 410 infants. Pneumonia disease is caused by many factors one of them by the preseance of smokers in the home or low birth weight. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with pneumonia on infants in Tunas Harapan Village, Gunung Meriah Sub District, Aceh Singkil Regency. This research type was cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 361 children under five in the village of Tunas Harapan . The sample of the study amount 78 children under five wich was taken with random sampling. The data was analyzed by using Chi- square test statistic. The results showed that there was a relationship between birth weight (p= 0.020) and the presence of smokers in the house (p= 0,000) with pneumonia in infants. There was no exclusive breastfeeding relationship (p= 0,150), vitamin A (p= 0,802), immunization (p= 0,610) and cooking fuel (p= 0,466) with pneumonia in infants at Tunas Harapan Village, Gunung Meriah Sub District, Aceh Singkil Regency .It is suggested to the Health Center in order to convey health information especially about pneumonia and society that smoking is expected not inside home let alone existing toddler in it or smoking around toddler. Keywords: Pneumonia in children, low birth weight, smokers in the home, ASI Eksklusif, vitamin A, immunization, cooking fue

    Pengaruh mutu pelayanan kesehatan terhadap kepuasan pasien peserta JKN/KIS di Puskesmas Gunung Tua Kecamatan Padang Bolak

    Quality of health services is the level of perfection of health services, which on the one hand can lead to satisfaction for each patient in accordance with the average level of satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality of service that affects patient satisfaction of JKN / KIS participants at Gunung Tua Publich Health, Padang Bolak District, North Padang Lawas Regency in 2020. This study used a quantitative analytical survey with a cross sectional study design. The location of this research was conducted at Gunung Tua Puskesmas, Padang Bolak District, North Padang Lawas Regency. The study population was all outpatients visiting with an average monthly visit of 906 patients. The number of samples in this study were 90 people. The technique used is purposive sampling. Survey data were analyzed using the chi-square test and logistic regression. The results showed that there was an effect of tangible (physical evidence), reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (certainty) and empathy (empathy) had an effect on patient satisfaction of JKN / KIS participants at Gunung Tua Puskesmas, Padang Bolak District, North Padang Lawas Regency. Based on the research results, it is known that the variable that most influences patient satisfaction is the responsiveness variable (responsiveness). It is recommended for health workers to maintain patient satisfaction by improving the quality of service, especially in the responsiveness aspect, such as responding to complaints quickly, so that patients feel valued and served well and increasing the number of officers who handle JKN / KIS patients so that patients do not wait too lon

    The Effectivity of Peer Education Module on Knowledge, Attitude, and Fast Food Consumption in Adolescents

    Background: Increasing obesity sufferers every year, in a few decades becomes an impor­tant problem. Increased obesity can lead to an increa­s­­ed risk of degenerative diseases which can cause death. Several attempts have been made to prevent and treat obesity. The pur­­­pose of this study is to determine the effective­­ness of peer edu­­ca­tion on knowledge, attitudes, and con­sump­­tion of fast food in adolescents.Subjects and Method: This study is a ran­do­m­ized controlled trial conducted at a Junior High School (SMP Ne­geri 6 Medan), North Su­matera. Samples taken were 60 stu­dents chosen random­ly. The sample was divided into 2 groups: a peer game edu­cation leaf­let group and a peer edu­cation modu­le group. The depen­dent va­r­i­­­able is know­ledge, attitudes, and habits of fast fo­od con­sumption. The indepen­dent vari­able is the pro­vision of leaflets and peer edu­ca­tion mo­du­­les. The data were obtained through in­­­ter­­­­­view, Food Frequency Question­naire (FFQ), and Food Re­call 24 hours. Data were analy­z­ed using t-test.Results: The results showed that the value of nut­ritional knowledge and obesity in the control group (Mean= 12.07; SD= 1.44) was lower com­pared to the intervention group (Mean= 13.50; SD= 1.99), but not statistically significant (p= 0.523). Attitudes toward nutrition and obesity in the control group (Mean= 11.50; SD= 1.22) were low­er than those in the intervention group (Mean = 13.00; SD= 1.78) and were statistically proven sig­nifi­cant (p= 0.008). The score of fast food con­­sumption habits in the control group (Mean= 8.17; SD= 1.23) is lower than that of the inter­vention group (Mean= 9.50; SD= 1.17) and is statis­tically proven significant (p <0.001).Conclusion: The nutrition peer education mo­dule has been shown to be effective in increas­­ing attitudes about nutrition and obesity and redu­cing fast food consumption habits and this has been statistically significant.
