The research project is a “Quasi experimental study to evaluate the effectiveness of tactile stimulation on anxiety and selected physiological parameter (HR) among patient admitted in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) of Government Rajaji Hospital at Madurai”. Pre test post test non equivalent control group research design was adopted. The total sample size was 60 out of which 30 samples were in the experimental group and 30 samples were in the control group. This study was carried out by administration of tactile stimulation twice a day for 3 days continuously, and by checking Apical heart rate per minute with the help of stethoscope. The tool used to assess the level of anxiety was modified anxiety part of CINT questionnaire in which 15 items were related in a four point likert type scale. The data obtained were analyzed by inferential and descriptive statistics. The major findings of the study were the mean post level of anxiety of patients admitted in ICU who received tactile stimulation was (t=19.328, P<0.05) lower than their mean pre test level of anxiety. The mean post level of selected physiological parameter (HR) of patients admitted in ICU who received tactile stimulation was (t=9.483, P<0.05) lower than their mean pre test level of selected physiological parameter (HR). There was a significant positive relation between the post level of anxiety (r=1) and selected physiological parameter (HR) (r=0.215) of experimental group who had received tactile stimulation. There was a significant association between the pre test level of anxiety with type of ICU [χ2 = 5.59 at df (2)] of experimental and control group. There was a significant association between the pre test level of heart rate with diagnosis of client [χ2 = 5.59 at df (1)] and type of ICU [χ2 = 15.26 at df (2)]. Based on the findings it is recommended that, tactile stimulation can be used for promoting healing environment and maintain the human element of nursing care in ICUs

Data, the one, that made a trend and evolution from good old techniques to modern trendy techniques. Based on the source the data is extracted, its form differs that is in recent decades data are scalable, skeptical and diverse compared to old structured data that are derived from specific known sources. The next criterion for the technological evolution is, the storagespace that is needed for data. Structured data storage lies in the database whereas for the unstructured and semi-structured ones the storage trend tips to cloud. The vital thing in addition to storage is data handling and analysis, both process when involved in trendy data results in a complexity in terms of containment, processing and visualization of data. To overcome these complexities on trendy unstructured data there emerged a concept called BigData Analytics. It uses numerous tools and techniques that resolved the problem from data storage to visualization. One such technique is Analytical sandbox, the most central container that stores and handles data in a very appropriate manner. In addition, Big data tools provide a variety of analytical and visualization techniques that produces efficient graphical view of modern data. This paper centered on sentimental analysis of WhatsApp group data in which text mining was incorporated to the chat file and the resulted chat text file is further processed with analytical tools that analyze the chat contents and produces an graphical visualization of the sentiments shared in the group. Its outcome view lies in high echelon of positive opinions compared to other emotions such as anger, fear, disgust, anticipation, joy, sadness, surprise, trust and negative

The sorption of diesel, lubricant and castor oils onto different parts (root, stem and leaf) of the dry biomass water hyacinth was studied at the laboratory scale. The parts of the aquapyte water hyacinth (Eichhornia Crassipes) were characterized by physico-chemical methods and the characteristics were used to elucidate the oil sorption process. Hydrophobicity, wettability (capillarity), buoyancy and sorption capacity of oils in the presence/absence of water were studied to evaluate the suitability of the sorbent for application. In all the three sorbents, theoil sorption capacity increases with the increase of oil film thickness. However of the three parts, the stem has a greater sorption capacity of 9.3, 7.8 and 11.08 g/g for the three oils such as diesel, lubricant and castor oils respectively, even though the root of water hyacinth showed a higher hydrophobicity and surface area. These sorption capacities are comparable with widely used commercial oil sorbent such as nonwoven polypropylene which has a sorption capacity in the range of 10-16 g/g

Data Storage and Communication plays a significant role in every human. Digital images and videos are stored in mobile and other storage devices. More specifically, video data requires huge amount of storage space for which the storage devices are more expensive. Hence there is a necessity of reducing the storage space of the data. Video compression is more common in all researches. In this work, the role of wavelets in video compression is studied. The temporal redundant data are converted to spatial data which are then transformed to wavelet coefficients. The low frequency components are removed from these wavelet coefficients. The proposed method is tested with some video sequences. The performance of the proposed method is analyzed by comparing it with the existing recent methods and with the state-of-art H.265 video coding standard. The experimental results substantially proved that the proposed method achieves 3.8dB higher PSNR than H.265 and 1.6dB higher PSNR than recent wavelet based video codecs

Digital media devices such as smartphones, cameras, and notebooks are becoming increasingly popular. Through digital platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and others, people share digital images, videos, and audio in large quantities. Especially in a crime scene investigation, digital evidence plays a crucial role in a courtroom. Manipulating video content with high-quality software tools is easier, which helps fabricate video content more efficiently. It is therefore necessary to develop an authenticating method for detecting and verifying manipulated videos. The objective of this paper is to provide a comprehensive review of the passive methods for detecting video forgeries. This survey has the primary goal of studying and analyzing the existing passive techniques for detecting video forgeries. First, an overview of the basic information needed to understand video forgery detection is presented. Later, it provides an in-depth understanding of the techniques used in the spatial, temporal, and spatio-temporal domain analysis of videos, datasets used, and their limitations are reviewed. In the following sections, standard benchmark video forgery datasets and the generalized architecture for passive video forgery detection techniques are discussed in more depth. Finally, identifying loopholes in existing surveys so detecting forged videos much more effectively in the future are discussed

Prosopis spicigera L.wood (PSLW), a plant material used as fuel by the rural mass in India is carbonized and used as an adsorbent for the removal of Methylene Blue and Erythrosine B dyes from aqueous solution by batch and column methods. The adsorbent is characterized by BET method (Nitrogen adsorption at 77 K) for pore and textural properties, scanning electron microscopy for surface morphology, potentiometric titration for pHZPC, FTIR for surface functional group and Boehm estimation of surface functional groups. The adsorption of Methylene Blue and Erythrosine B dyes on PSLW carbon has been carried out at different pH, adsorbate concentrations and contact time, adsorbent dosage and temperature conditions to determine the optimum condition for adsorption. Batch adsorption experiments show that maximum adsorption of Methylene Blue and Erythrosine B dyes is found at pH 2.0 and 3.0 respectively.  Pseudo second order kinetics (Lagergren), surface mass transfer and pore diffusion models were used to evaluate the kinetic parameters and adsorption mechanism. To describe the equilibrium isotherm process, the data are analyzed using Langmuir model. Thermodynamic parameters indicate the adsorption interaction is found to be spontaneous and exothermic in nature. Column data fits to the Thomas Model
