Advanced methods of material division focusing on laser, water jet, electroerosive wire cutting and drilling

In the introductory part of the work carried out the theoretical research of advanced methods of cutting. Chosen methods are laser, water jet and EDM wire cutting and trenching the wire. There is described the history, the principle of separation and classification. The practical part of these methods are discussed in detail with emphasis on their use in practice. The text is supplemented with illustrative examples of products. Finally, the work focuses on the comparison of the described methods. Overall, the work is conceived as a methodological text useful in teaching this topic

System and prescribing tolerances according to ČSN, EN and ISO with focus on accuracy of dimensions and geometry

This work focuses on the ways of controlling the size and shape of inaccuracies, which are set by the standards. The historical background in the development of the technical standards in our country is also mentioned. Furthermore, the introductory chapter draws the attention to the problems of written interpretation of the dimensional and formative accuracy as referred to EN and ISO standards. The following part of this paper explains the symbols and basic terminology, types of tolerances and their entries on the drawings. Next chapter concentrates on the correct interpretation of the drawings and theirs written description. The collection of figurative pictures is also attached. Finally, at the end of this work the surface roughness is also discussed
