Jana Jurajdová Cílem této diplomové práce je zjistit, zda je dodržována mnohokrát deklarovaná rovnost mužů a žen na trhu práce v České republice, Evropské unii a ve světě. Samotná pozice žen na trhu práce vychází zejména z historických aspektů a celé řady předsudků. Nárok na zaměstnání je považován za nezpochybnitelné právo každé ženy, ale tato skutečnost neznamená, že se těší také rovnému postavení. Po stránce legislativní je tato problematika dostatečně zajištěna, avšak v reálném životě tomu mnohdy tak není. Mezi hlavní bariéry, které narušují tuto rovnost, můžeme zařadit větší míru nezaměstnanosti žen než mužů, příjmovou nerovnost a v neposlední řadě nižší zastoupení žen v rozhodovacích procesech a to jak na úrovni České republiky, tak ve světě. V současné době je problematice rovných příležitostí žen a mužů na trhu práce věnována docela velká pozornost a spočívá zejména v podpoře sladění profesního a rodinného života pomocí různých opatření.The status of women in society with focusing on the labor market Bc. Jana Jurajdová The aim of the thesis is finding out whether is observed repeatedly declared equality between men and women in the labor market in the Czech Republic, European Union and in the world. The actual position of women in the labor market is based primarily on historical aspects and a wide range of prejudices. The right to work is regarded as inalienable right of every woman, but this does not mean that it also enjoys equal status. The issue is adequately secured on a legislative, but the situation in real life is often different. The main barriers, which undermine this equality, are: a greater level of female unemployment than men, income disparities and ultimately lower representation of women in decision-making processes both at the level of the Czech Republic and abroad. At present the issue of equal opportunities for women and men in the labor market is dedicated big attention.
