Christian beliefs and teaching in Fr. Zoricic’s writings – linguistic and theological approach
National cultural and religious heritage presents valuable repository of knowledge and wisdom. The article focuses on the understanding, classification and interpretation of Christian beliefs and the Gospel messages presented in the book of Fr. Zoricic (published in Venice 1780), whose theological thoughts were inspired and reinforced by various Italian and Latin writers of the time. The aim of this research is twofold: to preserve this rare spiritual book and to use it as a code of ethics. How was the dichotomy of good and evil presented in the Book? How did Zoricic describe Our Lady, God and the Body of Christ? To whom did he refer the most? To whom did he devote his writing? To be able to attempt answering these questions the Book was digitized, transcribed and transliterated.. On the basis of core terminology, extracted by natural language processing tool, a detailed linguistic analysis is provided
CHALLENGES OF HNOS (CROATIAN NATIONAL STANDARD OF EDUCATION): PROJECT TEACHING IN RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Projektna nastava svojevrstan je odgovor škole na izazove
društva. Današnja škola mora omogućiti razvoj i poticanje dinamičkih
sposobnosti i različitih darova učenika, jer samo informirani,
kompetentni i motivirani ljudi mogu biti otvoreni za sve promjene
koje donosi (post)moderno društvo i mogu pridonijeti razvoju tog
društva. Zbog toga Hrvatski nacionalni obrazovni standard ističe
nastavne metode kao npr. egzemplarno i zorno učenje, terensku
i iskustvenu nastavu unutar kojih se otvaraju mogu ćnosti i za
integraciju projekata u nastavi i uporabu projektne metode u njoj.
Cilj takve nastave je kod učenika potaknuti: samostalno učenje
i djelovanje; spoznaju vlastitih sposobnosti i potreb â i njihov
daljnji razvoj; razvijanje djelotvornosti i preuzimanje odgovornosti;
izgradnju društveno-povijesne senzibilnosti za pristup problemima
i izazovima; razvijanje komunikativnih i suradničkih sposobnosti
i kulturu rješavanja konflikata; ovladavanje organizacijskim
sposobnostima itd. Projektna se nastava može dobro integrirati
u nastavu vjeronauk a jer omogu ćuje svestrani raz voj učenik a
i posredovanje općeljudsk ih i k ršćansk ih vrednota i pomaže u
izgradnji osobnog, vjerskog i društvenog identiteta učenika.
U članku se polazi od upoznavanja s temeljnim odrednicama
nastavnih metoda i oblika rada koje predlaže Hrvatski nacionalni
obrazovni standard. Zatim se donose neke osnovne naznake
istraživačke i iskustvene nastave, a unutar njih se iz vjeronaučne
perspektive fokusira projektna nastava.Project teaching is a response of school to the challenges of
society. Contemporar y school has to ensure development and
encourage dynamic abilities and various talents of students. Only
those people who are informed, competent and motivated are able to
be open to all the changes that the (post)modern society brings and
they can contribute to the development of that society. Consequently,
Croatian National Standard of Education points out the methods
such as, for example: exemplary and demonstration learning, field
and empiric teaching within which it becomes possible to integrate
the project into teaching and to use the project method. The aim of
such teaching is: to encourage independent learning and activities,
to become aware of one’s own abilities and needs, to develop
effectiveness and assume responsibility, to develop social-historical
sensitivity to problems and challenges, to develop communicative and
cooperative abilities and culture of solving the conflicts, to master
organizational skills, etc. Project teaching can be well integrated into
religious education teaching because it enables versatile development
of students and mediation of human and Christian values. It helps to
build the student’s personal, religious and social identity.
The article first presents the fundamental determinants of
teaching methods and forms of work as proposed by the Croatian
National Standard of Education. Then, some basic outlines of the
research and empiric teaching are put forward, and within these,
from the perspective of religious education, project teaching is being
focused

The Family Communio Personarum and Upbringing
Not only are marriage and the family, natural and religious institutions but, above all, they are communities of persons fulfilling their personal calling. However, communio personarum does not only result from the natural relations, but is a consequence of faith, which unites family with Jesus Christ. This article will present the pedagogical consequences of acknowledging the family as communio personarum, including the fact that every family is a privileged place of upbringing and parents, who bestowed the gift of life upon their child, have been gifted with a wealth of upbringing skills. The marital relation, as a “me” and “you” relation, constitutes the foundation for other family relations, as well as the everyday educational support for the child. CONTENT-RELATED ASPECTS OF SCHOOL CATECHISM DIDACTICS
Didaktika se bavi istraživanjem dinamike poucavanja/
ucenja u svrhu izgradnje teorija i umijeca planiranja, provedbe
i vrednovanja ciljanih procesa poucavanja/ucenja sukladno
subjektu, predmetu i situaciji. Za razliku od opce didaktike,
didaktika školskog vjeronauka znanstvena je refleksija ucenja
i poucavanja vjeronauka u školi ili teorija prakse vjeronaucne
nastave. Kao predmetna didaktika ona je u prvom redu upucena
na sadržaj vjeronauka kao školskog predmeta u interakciji s
antropološko-personalnim, društveno-kulturnim i institucionalnostrukturalnim
uvjetima u kojima se odvija nastava vjeronauka.
Zato ona promišlja, analizira i planira religijsko-pedagoške procese
ucenja/poucavanja u okviru školskog vjeronauka. Njezina zadaca
je progovoriti o povijesnom kontekstu i utemeljenju vjeronauka u
školi, didakticko–metodickim varijablama i personalnim uvjetima
nastave vjeronauka u školi kao i svim drugim unutarnjim i
vanjskim elementima vjeronaucnoga nastavnog procesa.Didactics deals with the investigation of teaching/learning
dynamics for the purpose of developing the theories and skills of
planning, realization and evaluation of teaching/learning processes
in accordance with the subject, matter and situation. In distinction
from general didactics, school catechism didactics is a scientific
reflection of catechism learning and teaching in schools or the
theory of catechism teaching practice. Being the didactics of a
subject, it, first of all, refers to the content of catechism as a school
subject in the interaction with the anthropological-personal, socialcultural
and institutional-structural conditions within which the
teaching process is carried out. Therefore, it considers, analyses
and plans the religious-pedagogical processes of learning/teaching
in the framework of school catechism. Its task is to speak about
the historical context and foundation of catechism in schools, about
the didactical-methodological variables and personnel conditions of
school catechism teaching as well as about all other inner and outer
elements of the teaching process of catechism
Education in Faith within the Family According to Croatian Theological Periodicals from 1994 until 2014
U članku se prema izabranoj hrvatskoj teološkoj periodici u posljednjih dvadeset godina istražuje tema odgoja vjere u obitelji. Riječ je o časopisima: Bogoslovska smotra, Crkva u svijetu, Diacovensia, Obnovljeni život, Riječki teološki časopis i Služba Božja. Analizom sadržaja i sintezom ključnih pojmova tema se predstavlja u tri dijela: u prvom poglavlju podastiru se podatci o vrsti i broju članaka te se skicira teološko razumijevanje suvremene obitelji. U drugom dijelu usporedbom ključnih pojmova i glavnih sadržajnih naglasaka predstavljaju se neki od sadržaja koji se bilo eksplicite bilo implicite u najvećem obimu obrađuju. U trećem dijelu navode se otvorena pitanja ili nedovoljno usvojene teme.The article presents results of research on the topic of education in faith in the family on the basis of Croatian theological periodicals in the last twenty years. These periodicals include: Bogoslovska smotra, Crkva u svijetu, Diacovensia, Obnovljeni život, Riječki teološki časopis and Služba Božja. Through an analysis of contents and a synthesis of key terms, the topic is presented in three parts: the first chapter presents data on kinds and number of articles and sketches a theological understanding of the contemporary family. The second chapter presents some contents that are, implicitly or explicitly, discussed the most. This presentation is based on a comparison of key terms and main emphases in terms of contents. The third part points out those issues that are left open or insufficiently discussed
The Presbyter – Servant and Leader of the Parish Community
U članku koji se sastoji od dva dijela i uvoda obrađuju se dvije dimenzije prezbiterova poslanja: služiteljska i voditeljska i to u kontekstu župne zajednice. U uvodu se promišlja o antropogenim i sociogenim obilježjima današnjih župljana i polazeći od teze da je čovjek put Crkve, skiciraju se suvremena društveno-kulturna kretanja koja obilježavaju život suvremenog čovjeka i bitno određuju ulogu Crkve, župe i prezbitera u župnoj zajednici. U prvom i drugom dijelu služi se istom metodom: na temelju Novog zavjeta i dokumenata Drugog vatikanskog koncila promišlja se o služiteljskom, tj. voditeljskom poslanju prezbitera, s naglaskom na službu župnika. Iako se u prvom dijelu članka ističe služenje kao oblik življenja svih krštenih, ipak se govoreći o župničkom služenju pojašnjava njegov cilj: promicanje službi vjernika laika. U drugom se dijelu članka kritički promišlja o nekim oblicima (su-)vođenja u župi i (su-)vođenja župe na temelju ekleziologije zajedništva Drugog vatikanskog koncila.This article, consisting of two sections and an introduction deals with two dimensions of the presbyter’s ministry: serving and leading in the context of the parish community. The introduction deals with anthropogenic and sociogenic features of contemporary parishioners starting from the thesis that man is the way of the Church.
The article sketches contemporary social-cultural trends as a feature in the life of contemporary man and necessarily defines the role of the Church, parish and presbyter in the parish community. In the fi rst and second sections the author uses the same method: based on the New Testament and Second Vatican Council documents to ponder on the presbyter’s ministry of service, i.e. leading the parish community emphasising the mission of the parish priest. Even though the first part of the article stresses service as a form of living of all the baptised, nevertheless reference to the parish priest’s mission of service explains its aim: to promote the service of the faithful laity. The second part of the article critically analyses some forms of (co)leadership inthe parish and (co) leading the parish founded on the ecclesiology of togetherness of the Second Vatican Council
