There are many advantages to the new technology that is flooding the American way of life. However, with the good also comes the bad. Cyber-bullying is one example of the negative side of our ever-changing technology. Cyber-bullying can be very devastating for all people involved (Campbell, 2005). it affects the victim, the bully, family, and friends. With cyber-bullying on the rise, even more children will be affected in the future and the effects of this type of bullying will become more widespread

    Skills management heuristics.

A common problem faced by most organizations in today\u27s world is one of worker-task assignments. Assigning a large number of complex tasks to workers at various training levels can be a complicated process which has the potential to cost or to save a company large sums of money. The aim of this project is to develop a heuristic tool designed to match tasks to workers given the workers skills proficiency profiles. This heuristic should also provide a training plan which will rectify current worker skills gaps while minimizing training costs. Prior research maintained a focus on utilizing mathematical models of this skills management problem. The main difficulty with these mathematical models is that they were unable to reach feasible solutions in a reasonable amount of time when the problem size became large. It is therefore wise to investigate possible heuristic solution techniques. This research will compare and contrast three specific heuristic techniques: a Greedy Assignment Algorithm, Meta-RaPS Greedy Heuristic, and Meta-RaPS Shortest Augmenting Path (SAP) Heuristic. Meta-RaPS is a meta-heuristic that is used to improve the performance of algorithms by strategically infusing randomness which allows the exploration of more of the solution space. The skills management heuristics developed in this research were tested using 47 randomly generated data sets generating results within 0.03% of optimal for the recommended Meta-RaPS SAP solution methodology

Theodor Eicke and His Contributions to the Nazi Party: An Essay on the Development of the Nazi Concentration Camp System and SS-Totenkopfdivision

This project will focus on Theodor Eicke, and how he shaped the Nazi Party. Eicke is responsible for many key identifiers of the Nazi Party: the concentration camp system, the punishment system within concentration camps, the usage of prisoner labor, Shutzstaffel [SS] formations and indoctrinations, and other organizational schemes of the Nazi Party. This essay will examine Eicke’s background and his contributions to the Nazi Party as Dachau Camp Comandante, Camp Inspectorate, and Commander of the Waffen-SS Death Head Division, and how each of these components contributed to greater Nazi violence and the Final Solution

Spatial Variability in High Value Crops – Initially Focused on Truffle Production in the South-West of Western Australia

Due to its aromatic quality, rarity, and cultivation difficulty, the Périgord black truffle is a highly valued commodity worldwide. Despite its value, current scientific knowledge is lacking, and limited research has occurred exploring which soil properties and climatic conditions have the highest influence over truffle yield. This research uses various spatial analysis methods to describe and map harvested truffles' spatial distribution within a truffière, over 3 harvest seasons. This spatial distribution was examined against climate data and various soil properties, to determine which factor(s) have highest influence over truffle yield
