The adoption of multimedia by online communication outlets has increased enormously. The most documented or common multimedia elements are photos, music, audio, and videos. Effective management of these multimedia elements is necessary for both private and public institutions along with individuals (Bainbrideg & Browne, 2005; Deborah & Charles, 2012). The faster connection and powerful processing capability has improved the content delivery and what is left now is a different interface design which must consider the interactivity and high impact of multimedia content. Moreover, these changes have caused the need to re-examine multimedia elements

The multimedia computing revolution has been implemented in nearly all aspects of our life, including shopping, studying, research, and entertainment; thereby causing us to communicate differently because of it. Such change is inevitable, as revolutions displace traditional beliefs and practices. In the status quo, multimedia is not only advanced, but is advancing everything around us, as well as everything we use. This study aims to select five best Islamic websites and evaluate them in terms of implementing Multimedia tools, and how they use these tools to e-publish their information. The outcome of this research will help a great deal in setting up a guideline for the better global development of Islamic websites in terms of the use of multimedia tools. Consequently, this will lead to a better audience interaction, which will further aid in realizing the Islamic perspective in IT

    Analysis of Islamic website design

This article presents and analyses the findings regarding the utility of Islamic websites in terms of messages, credibility, standardisation, acceleration, printability, and distribution of terminologies. According to Leavitt and Shneiderman (2006), designers should make every attempt to reduce the users workload by taking advantage of the computer's capabilities. Users will make the best use of websites when information is displayed in a directly usable format and content organisation is highly intuitive. The data is gathered from feedback to a questionnaire distributed to respondents from three faculties, namely ICT, engineering, and IRKHS students in various levels of university education. The data collected is based on five selected Islamic websites, namely islamway.com, islamweb.net, islamonline.net, islam-qa.com, and islamtoday.net

A lightweight trust management algorithm based on subjective logic for interconnected cloud computing environments

Abstract The interconnected cloud computing paradigm is gaining considerable attention as a fundamental emerging model of cloud computing. It allows a wide range of interactions and collaborations across multiple service providers. Despite the potential advantages of interconnected clouds, establishing trust among participating parties is a challenging issue. In this paper, we introduce a lightweight trust management algorithm based on subjective logic (InterTrust) to promote trust in interconnected clouds. The experimental results demonstrate that InterTrust is capable of producing accurate trust information with significantly low execution time and high scalability compared to application of both the well-established trust management algorithm trust network analysis with subjective logic and no trust algorithm
