Search for Heavy Leptons at Hadron Colliders
Four models are considered which contain heavy leptons beyond the three
families of the standard model. Two are fourth-generation extensions of the
standard model in which the right-handed heavy leptons are either isosinglets
or in an isodoublet; the other two are motivated by the aspon model of CP
violation. In all these models, the heavy neutrino can either be heavier than,
or comparable in mass to, the charged lepton leading to the possibility that
the charged lepton is very long-lived. Production cross section and signatures
for the heavy leptons are computed for the SSC and LHC.Comment: 17 pages(8 figures are not included),TRI-PP-92-9
The number of negative modes of the oscillating bounces
The spectrum of small perturbations about oscillating bounce solutions
recently discussed in the literature is investigated. Our study supports quite
intuitive and expected result: the bounce with N nodes has exactly N
homogeneous negative modes. Existence of more than one negative modes makes
obscure the relation of these oscillating bounce solutions to the false vacuum

Vacuum Decay in Theories with Symmetry Breaking by Radiative Corrections
The standard bounce formalism for calculating the decay rate of a metastable
vacuum cannot be applied to theories in which the symmetry breaking is due to
radiative corrections, because in such theories the tree-level action has no
bounce solutions. In this paper I derive a modified formalism to deal with such
cases. As in the usual case, the bubble nucleation rate may be written in the
form . To leading approximation, is the bounce action obtained by
replacing the tree-level potential by the leading one-loop approximation to the
effective potential, in agreement with the generally adopted {\it ad hoc}
remedy. The next correction to (which is proportional to an inverse power
of a small coupling) is given in terms of the next-to-leading term in the
effective potential and the leading correction to the two-derivative term in
the effective action. The corrections beyond these (which may be included in
the prefactor) do not have simple expressions in terms of the effective
potential and the other functions in the effective action. In particular, the
scalar-loop terms which give an imaginary part to the effective potential do
not explicitly appear; the corresponding effects are included in a functional
determinant which gives a manifestly real result for the nucleation rate.Comment: 39 pages, CU-TP-57
Muon anomalous magnetic moment in string inspired extended family models
We propose a standard model minimal extension with two lepton weak SU(2)
doublets and a scalar singlet to explain the deviation of the measured
anomalous magnetic moment of the muon from the standard model expectation. This
scheme can be naturally motivated in string inspired models such as E_6 and

3-3-1 exotic quark search at CERN LEPII-LHC
The 3-3-1 electroweak model is the simplest chiral extension of the standard
model which predicts single and double charged bileptons and exotic quarks
carrying -4/3 and 5/3 units of the positron charge. In this paper we study the
possibilities of the production and decay of one of these exotic quarks at CERN
LEPII-LHC collider. For typical vector bilepton, exotic quark masses and mixing
angles we obtained between 20 and 750 events per year. Angular distributions

Horizontal Symmetry for Quark and Squark Masses in Supersymmetric SU(5)
Recent interest in horizontal symmetry model building has been driven mainly
by the large top mass and hence strong hierarchy in quark masses, and the
possibility of appropriately constrained soft squark mass matrices, in place of
an assumed universality condition, for satisfying the relevant FCNC
constraints. Here we present the first successful SUSY- model that has
such a feature. The horizontal symmetry is a gauged
(). All nonrenormalizable terms compatible with
the symmetry are allowed in the mass matrix constructions. Charged lepton

Partial Derivation of Transformation Properties of Quarks and Leptons
Under the assumptions that with
simple is a local symmetry group at high energies, that color is
parity-conserving, and the Y-charges are irreducible, we show that anomaly
constraints imply the minimal set of fermions is fifteen in number. Given this
minimal set, we further show that must be and the unbroken
gauge symmetry is {\it either} color {\it or} the product of color with

Dilepton Production in High Luminosity Multi-GeV Electron Scattering
We consider the production of a 300GeV dilepton in very intense 4GeV electron
scattering off of a lead target. The production cross-section and angular
distribution of the resulting muons are calculated. There occur several such
events per year, and their detection is rendered feasible by measurement of

Charginos and Neutralinos Production at 3-3-1 Supersymmetric Model in Scattering
The goal of this article is to derive the Feynman rules involving charginos,
neutralinos, double charged gauge bosons and sleptons in a 3-3-1 supersymmetric
model. Using these Feynman rules we will calculate the production of a double
charged chargino with a neutralino and also the production of a pair of single

The S, T, U parameters in the model with
right -handed neutrinos are calculated. Explicit expressions for the oblique
and Z - Z' mixing contributions are obtained. We show that the bilepton oblique
contributions to S and T parameters are bounded : and . The Z - Z' mixing contribution is positive and above 10%, but it will
increase fastly with the higher Z' mass. %can be negative. The consequent mass
splitting of the bilepton is derived and to be 15%. The limit on the mass of
